“Saved me from being hassled by noisy crows! After being woken up over several mornings by a gathering of very large noisy crows (we sleep in a loft conversion right by the chimney stack) who were trying to dismantle our aging wire frame 'birds nest' vent cover in attempts to make a nest in it I decide to intervene rapidly. One sunday morning with the sound of their cawing still ringing in my ears I started to scan the internet for solutions and came across the Hamilton website and quickly found the right solution for me, the 'MAD Chimney Capping Cowl' which I dropped in my basket straight away. After physically checking the size of the flue, and confirming there was no nest in development, I determined the diameter was right so I finalised the order on that Sunday. Updates followed to advise of dispatch and it arrived within 4 days as per expectations, well boxed and with all the correct fittings included, and I fitted it that very evening. Installation was straightforward, after gently bending out the 3 legs to 90 degrees (careful not to damage the paintwork as much as possible) I then folded them back in on themselves effectively halving the length to produce 3 shorter legs of about 75mm and using the additional material to take up some of the gap between the 285mm dia vent and the slightly larger cowl. I inserted the compression band into the bend (as photo) I had created and tightened up the band to a snug fit, trapping the legs to prevent uplift by the wind. Overall very happy with the quality and service, and the crows have gone off to find somewhere else to set up home.”

“I ordered a Cadic chef gas BBQ. It came quickly, only delayed by a public holiday. The original box was surrounded by another stout one, however more care should have been taken applying the "Hamilton" tape on this box as the top had sprung open. Fortunately the non-stick sheets that I had also ordered had not fallen out. The main item was in perfect condition and has worked on a test firing. It appears well made and has a quality feel.”

“Product was fine, a Bullfinch extension tube. It had, however, been put in too large a cardboard box with no interior packaging and in transit the outer box partially collapsed and ripped, resulting in a hold-up at Royal Mail while the patched it up. Though the contents were undamaged the package took twice as long to reach me than it should.”
