Wanted to discuss more information about the device, customer services staff not interested and made it obvious. I have sent a written complaint two staff called it has not been resolved. Customer services staff rude and uninterested.”
“The Worse ever insurance i have had i was insured with them for last 5 years never had a claim but just few months before i had an accident in Wandsworth area and it wasn’t my fault as I agreed with the maximum voluntary excess and it covered all the repair cost,they didn’t take the investigation serious and they said they couldn’t find cctv in the area(which is impossible).they reduce my no claims discount for 5 years.when i contact them they said because your case it is still open we cant give you all your claims discount.i changed my insurance company and never ever recommend them.it is a daylight robbery😡”
“Took out a policy with Bell after they came up cheapest on Money Supermarket. immediately regretted it when I got a text saying about a plug and drive unit being delivered to me... I didn't opt for that as I drive an i8 but probably my fault for not unchecking the option when retrieving quotes.
I went to cancel my policy and not only is it impossible to cancel your policy without calling customer service (in 2021... really?!) but they have fees for EVERYTHING. I couldn't even get a hold of customer service and will have to call during work hours as they aren't really open til 8pm like it says on their contact section.
I've never had any issues like this in 15 years of driving... can't even imagine how impossible it must be making a claim based on my experiences so far.
Avoid at all cost.”
“I paid for a years insurance up front. I had my insurance cancelled and did not receive notification that it had been cancelled till a week later, so I had been driving an uninsured car for a week.
They said it was cancelled as I did not forward information i.e. council tax bill and a few other items as they were doing an audit.
I did not receive an email for this but later found it in junk mail.
I then had to reinsure immediately and paid considerably more with different insurer. Validations were unhelpful and there attitude was basically tuff.”
“Absolutely not to be trusted . Paid for insurance for a year upfront Then received a letter saying insurance was cancelled 3 days earlier because of--- late fees-- How can you have late fees if you have paid entirely . They wanted £75 to reinstate .
This company should be thoroughly investigated by the association of British insurers ABI. Im not alone --read the reviews for yourself . Customers unite.”
“Hopeless. I have a Tesla and the plug in they sent me does not fit so they wanted to charge me an extra £412 which doubled the insurance. Teslas do not have 12v only USB. You'd think they would know that. Customer service hopeless. Got charged £50 because I put the wrong date on my SP50. Really horrible experience. Been driving for years never had anything like this. Appalling take my word and avoid,”

Blackbox is literally black box, no transparency on the data they receive and their explanations are unspecific. They don’t respond to subject access requests in requests for the data and how they arrive at automated decisions, contravening the ICO.”
