“Been with carrot on the better driver policy and although at first there were a few issues everybody was happy to help and the app is amazing as you get rewarded that come in handy after a few weeks!”

“I have been with Carrot for nearly 3 years now and can honestly not say a bad word about them. Whenever I have had an issue of any kind, I have always used the live chat and got the issue resolved quickly and efficiently. The customer advisors have always been friendly and polite which is a rarity these days. I was skeptical at first about insuring through them due to the amount of bad reviews, but I’m so glad I did! (The gift cards each week for driving good are a bonus too!)”

“Good service on the online chat, but struggling to speak to anyone today when I’ve been struggling to sort my wingman out all week it won’t connect to my app telling me to order a new one, when I have until Monday or they will cancel my insurance!! Don’t get why the wingman won’t connect”

“I have been with carrot for the past year and a half, it’s had it’s up and downs along the way. My biggest pet peeve is the orange box! It’s great for a few months, then just suddenly stops working. It recorded a ‘red score’ saying I was driving over the limit (of 30mph May I add) on a motorway! I think this insurance is good for people starting out with their first car or needing to get their insurance down. Customer service is okay, depends who you speak to on live chat. Some people will do everything to help you whilst others just brush it off like it’s nothing to do with them. I’ve had issues changing my payment dates to the 28th of every month, it kept coming out the day or two before my payday which then incurred a £30 charge.”

“Didn’t email me to tell me about negative scores on my black box until I had my last one which they then told me I had 4 and my insurance was being cancelled”

“I’ve been with carrot 2 years now. It was coming up to my renewal date and I found out (2 days before I had to renew my car insurance) that my car was apparently too old to be insured?!? Despite this terrible service, I’m not massively bothered because the past 2 years have been awful. I am a very poor student so I had no other choice but to go with carrot. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of using this company to think twice. Their customer service team is okay and they do their best with the rubbish company they work for. Please go elsewhere”

“Consistent great service I was given a call to check how I was feeling about re-mewing with carrot and the lady I spoke to is a credit to your company she talked me through everything nothing was to but if a task she even offered to call back and stuck to her word of a call back and saved me money on my car insurance renewal amazing stuff.”

“Been very helpful when needing to speak to someone and changing my policy, live chat is very easy to use and always put through to someone very quickly, prices are good too and the dashboard is very helpful with checking my driving score and miles.”

“Customer service is very good, easy to get in touch with. Quick to resolve any problems regarding the app itself or help if indeed. Live chat is a saviour, transfers you to the right department which makes it super easy to discuss the policy or the renewals. Great price.”
