“So far carrot has been a fantastic insurer, I love the app and how it allows you to monitor your black box, the cash rewards are also a great incentive. However the only minor issue I have found is that on some days mainly weekends whatever time I use my car my usage is really low there is no clear consistency on usage.”

“Much better than the previous telematics provider. The app is brilliant and so informative. Call centre staff are very friendly and helpful. We did have some issues with the proof of no claims not being attached to the account and receiving an email that we needed to submit it but that was just an admin error and Carrot staff sorted that out quickly. So far a great experience and we're very happy with Carrot!”

“After having trouble with my last telematics box insurance company I was not very confident with using one again but Carrot has been very good so far! App is very easy to use, carrot card is a great idea and whenever I have any questions I know I can call and everyone is happy to help. Would defiantly recommend Carrot Insurance!”

“App is great for monitoring driving score and the find my car feature is actually incredibly useful. One thing I would say is that the weightings of different scores seems to be a little unfair, I got a few low ones and the rest are almost 10/10 and my drivers score is only 5/10 overall.”

“Carrot insurance is great, carrot card is a good bonus even though I haven't had mine yet, however I keep getting my usage knocked down and I'm not sure why? However great and have had good relationship with insurer”

“+ The fact that you are able to receive cash rewards for driving well is a great incentive for any young driver. - 'Usage' is very inconsistent and continuously changes day by day even though the majority of the time I am driving at the same time and the same route too. I also think that it is unfair to be marked down due to the time at which you drive because sometimes you cannot help driving later on in the evening. - 'Smoothness' is also very inconsistent - despite driving well and carefully this is continuously changing and I am unsure to why. ~ In the future I would perhaps like more detail into the reasons of my scoring, such as: harsh braking/acceleration, fast cornering etc. But overall I have been very pleased with the black box - no brainer to use Carrot as your young driver insurance company because not only do you save money, you can also earn money back.”
