Very good on showing how my driving is going, the dashboard app is very easy to use. Customer service is very slow though

Not as bad as I feared, however the usage is so annoying! Why get penalised for driving between 11:00 and 5:00?! Makes no sense... Also I can be driving outside of those times and still receive less than ten for usage? Don't like the fact that short trips are punished also as my trip to work 4 times a week are short and I get penalised every time...

Very pleased with the service & the bonus if the carrot card. Very helpful staff and easy installation of the black vox.

Carrot insurance seem to have friendly, helpful staff and the app is simple and easy to use. Only qualm I have is the price of top up miles which could be cheaper, even though my drivers score is well within the green. Overall very impressed though so far.

Started my policy in January so far it's been good Only thing I'm abit annoyed at is the fact that Carrot said no curfews however once I drive past 11pm it affects my score badly I have received my carrot card with my cash reward for the first quarter which is really good! Overall not a bad insurance company really! It's a great incentive drive good and you get cash back!

Im very happy with my sons insurance and will be definitely recommending you to his friends who as him are new young drivers, I would like to speak to some one soon as I don't really understand why he keeps loosing points on usage as we live in a small village which is only a 10 min drive to our local town where he goes to college and most places are not that far away so I dont think its fair that he is penalized for that, he has all 10's for his speed and smoothness but keeps being knocked down for his usage, it seems unfair

I like how they keep you update with the app to tell me how well I have been driving and keeping me update with any new information and the cheapness of the insurance as i am in my first year of driving and working this has helped me a lot with allowing me to continue driving.

Carrot Insurance is very good insurance and cheaper than all of the others I searched for. The rewards are a very good incentive to drive well. You don't lose points too easily. You'd have to drive quite bad to get a low score. The one reason it is 4 star and not 5 star, is the measuring of usage for the points e.g. it lowers the score for driving multiple times within a short period of time. Carrot also advertised "no curfews", however when I drove later than 11pm my usage score went low for that drive. They are advertising no curfews, but penalised me for this. My box has stopped working after 4 months. It registered two motorway journeys as 8 separate journeys giving low scores and then gave up registering anything. Surprisingly when phoning up to inform of this problem the phone was answered quickly (previously had very long waiting times), but I am still waiting a week later for the company who installs the ibox to contact me. So I now have a lower score due to incorrect driving details, which I have been assured will be corrected. Time will tell.

Love the driving score dashboard Simple and easy! The rewards are also amazing! Really makes you try your best on every drive to keep your reward high! Only down fall is the long ringing times and queues! I can never get through!

The gentleman that dealt with our application was very pleasant and helpful. However since then it has been difficult to get in touch with Carrot. Long queues to speak to someone meanwhile my phone bill mounts up. What I wanted to know was the password we gave on application (forgotten it).... I would be very grateful if this was e mailed to this address. My son would like to access the app so he can track his driving skills PLEASE!!

Overall I am happy with the insurance, I haven't had to make any claims so I can't comment on customer service. However when I had to change cars due to my first one not being safe to drive, I upgraded to a slightly newer car which is obviously a lot safer. I was disappointed that the price increased so much! Also the "Admin costs" of changing the car are way too high. £150 is a lot considering my monthly cost of the insurance increased.

So far so good. I have had to contact Carrot on several occasions and found it relatively easy (depends on time of day). Staff seem to have answered my questions accordingly. The dashboard section is good although the usage seems a little higher than I thought I had been using previously. I have not asked how much it will be to buy extra miles should I eventually need to so I will see about the cost then, hopefully reasonable! The carrot card is a good incentive for me as being a 19 year old driver, every little helps and it's never that cheap for the first couple of years.
