Carrot insurance is generally good however what would make the experience even better for all customers I believe would be to have a dedicated phone line service option as it appears that Carrot Insurance is solely a web based company.

Relatively affordable insurance, however I find my black box is very sensitive to speed bumps and my smoothness drops because of them.

Relatively affordable price however my black box seams to be very sensitive, if I go a little too fast over a speed bump then I get a massive drop in smoothness.

Very helpful company, however the app 'better driver' is very difficult to use but luckily was helped out on the live chat and resolved all my issues very quickly.

Online chat is good, I didn’t have to wait long for a agent to help me. However I always seem to have problems with the app. It doesn’t track most of my journeys

First of all the online chat is brilliant. You are not waiting round to speak to someone on hold for 30 mins or more. The better driver app is simple and easy to use. Overall carrot is a stress free insurance company😊

Since I’ve been with carrot ,over 12 Months the service has improved massively. Very helpful and very quick to answer and solve any queries. Would recommend

A very good price insurance policy, and the telephone service when initially purchasing was fantastic. There are only two reasons why I did not give this five star. The first one is the online chat, while I have always received the answers are required, makes it difficult to actually get to a person straight away. It is constantly attempting to put you through to the FAQs. While this is understandable sometimes there are queries that can only be answered by a person because they are very specific to my policy. The second reason is that I was assuming it was black box technology and they’re black box will be fitted as it was with my sister. However, instead it is set up on the Bluetooth of my car. As I don’t have Bluetooth in my car I needed to order a piece of equipment myself. This did arrive the next day I must say. The reason I don’t particularly like this is that it means I need to have my phone on And linked into carrot every time I get in my car. and linked into carrot every time I get in my car. And everyone who drives my car needs to do the same. I don’t like the idea of using up my data and also I’m concerned if I should run out of charge.

live chat is a poor way of communication No evidence of conversion unless you screen shot it yourself Used telephone too and still got a letter threatening to cancel insurance Policy is reasonably priced Which is good when first time driver

The customer service is great with Carrot. I have used the live chat a couple of times and my issues are always resolved quickly and easily. The app is great also and accurate and it’s great getting a treat each week and money off high street retailers. My insurance was a really good price for the year also.

Price was expected for a 22 year old who hasn't held a policy before. Whenever I have had questions the live chat team are very quick and helpful. Black box is great as you can earn points to spend on gift cards for the like of Amazon and also earns discount on your renewal. Viewing your driving scores is very easy and is all displayed in a very user friendly way.

This insurance is quite cheap considering the fact that I am 18 and a first time driver, they are very informative and very helpful via their live chat web page. I have the black box and on their webpage I can easily asses how well I have been driving which gives me a great boost of confidence. Very very good company.
