Its generally good. Carrot allow you to accelerate pretty hard, go just over the speed limit, drive for long distances-as long as you stop every hour and the rewards are good. its being very accurate at the moment. At the moment though

I started off well with good score however when it comes upto getting rewarded my score would go down. So firstly dont expect any rewards. Secoundly just before my insurance is about to end carrot CANCELs my insurance claiming i was speeding with no evidence other than their black box saying so even though the black box is not accurate as i have checked by recording my own usage the the results being different. Thirdly bad customer service they email me that my insurance may get cancelled and when it does get cancel all they do is send a text message when i called they did not care and said it will get canceled no matter what i say

To start off with, I was very happy with Carrot insurance. However, after reaching 30% discount on what i'm on course to receive at renewal, driving scores started to drop and it has now dropped to 28%. Before this I was getting +10's most of the time, now I get -10 speed for driving the same way I always have and usage scores vary a lot, baring in mind i drive at the same times every day. Not happy about this, seems a bit dodgy that you can drive the same but you get very different scores after being on track for an increasing discount. Also some journeys do not even get logged and registered as the car being driven. If this was sorted and you didn't get scores that are clearly wrong and every journey was registered it'd be 5 stars. App needs sorting out

Please you need to avoid this company at all costs. You will be robbed this company needs reporting think a few people need to get together and take this company to watchdog or trading standards they are ruining the lives of young drivers which is really sad. They need to be stopped.

Been insured now for 5 months and still all going really well!😁 Not a single problem! Scores are instantly shown on the app and recieving rewards that encourage better driving, definitely going to recommend Carrot Insurance to other young motorists, very pleased!!!

Been insured now for around a month or so and everything has been good so far, only thing keeping it from 5 star is that the usage on the black box is a bit strict. Other than that been great so far!

Do not insure ur car with carrot insurance.they have no customer service wotsoever.it takes at least half an hour each time u ring them to even answer the phone call.to get ur rewards they charge £5 for a new carrot card after ur old one exspires.worst insurance company i have chosen in the last 7 yrs i have been driving

To start with this company we're brilliant, real lenient and cooperative! However, since my first quarter has ended I have not recieved my rewards oand I have also noticed they're giving me very low scores for driving the same as before! -10.00 for speed going 1/2 mph over the speed limit... I think not

Very friendly and non threatening insurance company, this is what I love the most. Most young people will fret at the thought of having a black box, a tracking device, a digital parent per say. With carrot the feeling is not like this, carrot is very easy going, and gives you plenty of information on their services, terms and conditions and the rewards. Although I may pay quite a lot for my insurance (due to previous insurance companies) I feel my money is well invested and spent here and am happy to know I'm safely covered with a great insurance company that not only protects my car and my well being but gives me cash rewards and discounts ect just to drive sensibly, it's all around winner!

The worst company I've ever come across. My son changed his car with two months remaining on his policy, they charge £150 to cancel early or £170 to have a new box installed BUT didn't record that the box had been fitted (even though it was working) so he had three letters threatening to cancel resulting in three hour long phone calls trying to get through to someone to speak to THEN he was pulled by the police for having no insurance because it wasn't recorded, luckily they accepted a screen shot of his certificate as proof.

Corrot have great prices compared to other companies, I had a struggle setting my insurance up so I gave carrot a call and the lady I talked to was very helpful and stayed on the phone until it was sorted. Very great full of the help that was provided and overall a great insurance company to be with that reward good drivers.

Would have more success trying to phone the queen than Carrot. Every call results in a waiting time of at least 30-45 minutes before anyone answers. These will people will rip you off in anyway then can. DO NOT GET HOOKED BECAUSE OF THE CHEAPER PRICE. USE A REPUTABLE INSURANCE COMPANY.

Thieving bastards, go to cancel my insurance and they are charging £400 for me to cancel where it clearly says £150 cancellation fee in the policy documents. Women was also really really rude on the phone omce I got talking to her after waiting on hold for 27 minutes. Totally regret going for this insirance even though it was the cheapest but I would never recommend carrot to anybody. The engineer who fitted the black box in also managed to remove the wiring for my heating sustem so I had to go fork out £40 for a mechanic to sorr that out. I told carrot and they said there's no proof. The cheek on these theiving scum decieves me. Remember with these lot you can always read the small prjnt but they'll still find someone to rip you off on. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Have been a brilliant company, very helpful and reliable when I needed my black box information regarding my location. Only problem is the curfew. Didn't know ithat existed.
