“One of the most efficient insurance companies I’ve been with thus far. Especially when I discovered that I didn’t need to take time off work to fit a box in car as they track my driving and miles via my phone. Didn’t rate 5 stars as I can’t speak to staff over the phone when I have a non accident which query.”

“Carrot insurance is very cheap and for driving safely you will earn carrot points which you can then save to buy an e voucher to spend at a variety of shops. Their online chat is also very helpful. Recommend Carrot insurance.”

“Really good at talking over the online chat. Never any problems! Had a few issues with the carrot insurance app. But am still working on trying to fix it. Over all good experience.”

“Had carrot for 2 years, on the first year I had the audacity to move adress for which I was charged an extra £300 on top of my premium, ordinarily I wouldnt have minded this but they were extremely threatening and told me I only had a week to pay, on the second year (only chose them again because they were the cheapest and I was a little strapped for cash) they told me I had used all my miles, again was given an extremely threatening letter of cancellation unless I paid them more money. Moral of the story here is you get what you pay for, avoid at all costs, especially if a young driver living independently as I was, they will try something to get more money as they know they can make it impossible for you to get insured ever again”

Like with any insurance any changes made to the policy may incur extra premium, and as it is a mileage based insurance you are required to purchase more miles if you run out, which we do explain before you buy.
