“Very easy, fast and really well manage. Being foreigner, they explained to me all the times that I needed without any problems.
Score 11 out of 10.
Thank you very much.”
“They were very professional when i opened an account with them. They have relatively lower insurance schemes than the rest of them. Ashley Juett helped me get my first car insurance. He was very patient with my questions and answered them well and cleared all my doubts.”
“Worst service ever, I had to call everyday for the last 2 weeks for the no claim bonus certificate and they are nice on the phone and assure repeatedly that it would be sent by email but nothing happens, glad that I moved to another company.”
“The worst insurance company. They took all the details from me and two agents contacted me with different price. I gave my no claim bonus letter from previous insurance, my job contract letter. Since my contract ending in 3 months and give my other job offer letter and details to prove that I will be in full time job for the full year. One agent give me a price and another agent gave me a lesser price. They literally took my 4 hours of time and finally both agents got clashed and they dint replay me back with the insurance. What a worst customer serve. A bunch of irresponsible idiots. Please guys never ever choose this. They will show you lower price and they will ask you details and will say this not valid this not ans gradually increase the premium. Please never opt then... worst of worst”
“I have been waiting on a claim status for months and also a renewal quote. I will not renew if they cannot provide a response to a simple claim. I thought COVID impacted staffing but these reviews confirm poor service prior to COVID.
Any suggestions for other insurance companies for transporting personal effects overseas?”
“Worst service, did everything what they asked for, and on the end, all day waiting for confirmation email about insurance, and they dont even pick up the phone. Never ever again!! !”
“i was given a good price on gocompare with clements. When i called them they asked for proof of employment , as im self employed they asked for a contract and self assesment, then they said to wait. Then after checking all the peronal details and details about insurrance, they asked for photo of my license, utility bill, and passport..
i would not recomend this company,”
“I saw the reviews before, didnt care and used the service. They wanted proof of occupation (tenancy agreememt), proof of empleyement (even my contract), driving licence, v5c, all my card details (you cant pay online) and literally everything that I cant even remember now. I was curious if they were going to ask my mothers blood type lol. I told them many times that I havent recieved the v5c yet and may take 4 weeks to receive as I asked from DVLA. But a week later again I received "final chaser, cancellation of policy" irritating e-mail as every week. They even want the same document over and over. They dont listen, understand and act with logic at all. I hope nothing happens in the mean time like accident cause I dont believe they will cover. Worst service in the world ! They are seriously rude by the way (not the day that you decide to use the service). Do not, never ever attend to use ! I had to use because I didnt have any choice since it is my first year to deive in UK so other companies charged so much.”
“I am astounded by the lack of service Clements offers.
I have been trying to add a driver to auto insurance for two weeks now and they are incapable of doing it!
I am in the process of buying a new vehicle and I will avoid Clements at all costs!”
“They never respond back to you if you are not buying new policy or renewing the existing policy. It's been a week I have been chasing them to provide 'No Claim Bonus Certificate'. Everytime I try to senfd the mail specified by clements for 'No Claim', the mail is bounced back. Thinking of filing complaint with the "https://www.gov.uk/consumer-protection-rights"”
“This is a good company until before claim, then nobody responds, I had good offer for 3 first year insurance, but when I wanted to get NCB letter, nobody replied me”
“I was kind of shocked to see the reviews on Clements Worldwide Insurance as I had recently bought an insurance policy from them. However, I will leave my exact experience so that it would be fair to everyone.
I had taken a quote from the comparethemarket (meerkat's) website after comparing the details of a few similar quotations. Before I drove my car from the dealership, I called them and started my policy by quoting the reference number I got from comparethemarket.
They advised me well which made me making some alterations on the 'purpose' and 'assumed yearly milage' by paying some additional money than what I quoted. I must say, that all makes sense so that I could be in the safe side from the beginning. Following that discussion, I received an email asking for the documents they needed from me and I sent all documents except the V5C form as it took a few days for me to get it via the post. But I sent it later and everything was fine.
I do agree that they take a quite bit more time to respond to emails and maybe that is because they are an insurance broker company who sits between us and Lloyds. However, it would be nice if they could send us an acknowledgement so that we know that everything is in order.
However, I had to contact them again a few times to know a few things such as hardwiring a dash-cam (which I chose not to do anyway later planning to use the cigarette lighter socket instead). Initially, I had dial the Claims Department and they were very quick and responsive to pick up (which is a good sign from any customer's point of view). I mentioned that I just wanted to discuss the policy—then I was transferred to a few places and then to the amendment department. The service indeed was very pleasant and professional and they clarified all the details which I needed to get clarifications on.
Also, when I read through the policy information also I realised that they provide a good cover when you compare the most practical/potential things in a claim if you happen to make a claim at some point.”
