Hello Gladiator tried to access my bank account without my permission or contacting me first for insurances a vehicle which I sold three months ago and are now trying to get £80 severance payment, which they have no chance of getting, stay away from them!

Today I spent over an hour trying to resolve some incorrect information on my existing policy that is due for renewal, the problem was not resolved. On reviewing the documents I noticed that it states that I have been involved in three incidents/claims, this is not the case. It even states on the document that I have been involved in two incidents, but there is three listed. 21/09/22 i was not involved in any incident whatsoever. On the 25/09/22 a side window of my car was broken, I did not make a claim on my insurance policy at the time, I repaired it myself. On the 10/04/22 i was in a slight collision with another driver, that caused a slight scuff on my drivers side wing, that simply polished out, the other driver admitted liability and no claim was made against me and I made no claim, these are the only two incidents that I have been involved in, again I query why on the document it says two incidents but lists three? I have contacted my insurance company with whom I was insured with at the time { 1st Central } and they have informed me that no claims have been made against me, and have sent through my no claims certificate as proof. When I took out my van insurance with Gladiator over the phone I answered the questions put to me about my driving/insurance details to the representative over the phone, he was the person who asked me if I had, had any accidents or claims that were not my fault, I informed him that I had a window broken and didn’t claim, and also I was involved in a no fault collision that involved no claim. Again I bring to question why on the document it says 2 incidents but lists three. Also because of this was I charged more for last years policy because of this? I was told today by someone in the c/s service team that they were listed as my fault. Nothing was satisfactory resolved by Gladiator and I have now changed my van insurance to another company. Keep well away from Gladiator

I have just saved a fortune on insurance for 3 of my vehicles, 2 vans and a motorhome. I have had a claim since last year but still saved on last years prices, and saved around £1500 on the renewal quotes I had received. I have read the reviews, and I hope that I don't have to find out if they are true, but on balance, who really writes reviews unless they are bribed with an offer, or have a gripe. so 109 reviews isn't really that many considering the amount of customers they serve. If I make a claim and they do give me a head ache, I will contact the ombudsman first, then I will update this review, i promise.

Avoid like the plague,they tried to access my bank account via automatic renewal which I didnt give permission for, then when I told them this and that I had renewed my insurance with a company that was cheaper they have gone on to harass me for an £80 exit administration fee for leaving them bare in mind I paid the full years insurance in a one off payment, I will not be paying them anything and they can persue till they are blue in the face they have an email telling them so, so I advise anyone to be careful and read their T&Cs (Traps & Catch outs) and steer well clear, incidentally they are part of the Admiral Group like all motor insurance they are a necessary evil by law.

Bradley Waldh is like Claudia Winklemen. On the TV ever time I turn the TV on. Winkleman was even in Dr Who last week. They are both like poo in a cowfield. EVERYWHERE.

I’m not sure what Gladiator have done with their customer service area, probably outsourced abroad. My husband went through his endorsements, with a person that could barely speak English, for over half an hour in August. We received an aggressive letter last week advising that they cannot provide a quotation as they don’t have an updated record of endorsements and we won’t be insured from 23 Jan. I also spoke with somebody that couldn’t speak English who messed up my policy. When customer service was done in-house Gladiator were brilliant. We don’t have the time or energy with these exasperating phone conversations. It’s all gone horribly wrong. I sent a complaint form 2 days ago - heard nothing.

Absolutely abysmal customer service they will do anything to get out of paying up for a claim, have been with these for years but didn't realise how bad they are until I tried to make a non fault claim.

I called a few over and thay was rude and unhelpful I got in contact with a lovely lady thay work for this company to be honest I would of pay anything after being help so much she done everything I needed

Made two claims first claim a moped t boned as I was turning right had a witness saying the same as me per was in the wrong we both gave a statement and they wanted to go 50/50 with it ridiculous even tho me and the witness both said the pad was at fault second claim I be pulled out of a side road on to a main didn’t see the car coming down the hill A van was blocking my view I’ve pulled out gone into my lane and they come on the other side of the road to go around the van and we have collided I believe this was actually 50/50 no witness nothing ohhh and guess what it’s my fault again absolute useless company just wants to settle claims and not care who is at fault

First class service. Hubby had to amend his policy and remove a vehicle due to its sale. However after having a stroke he struggles to speak on the phone. I ended up speaking to the customer service representative a Mr James Keen who couldn’t have been more helpful. James was knowledgeable and very patient with my husband and dealt with our query efficiently and effectively. Once we’d finished our conversation James rang me back some time later, having had some thought he suggested I be written onto the account to represent my husband to avoid us explaining the need for me to speak with themselves in the near future avoiding my husband further distress. I believe this was customer service at its very best. James is an asset to your company and we would definitely recommend you to family and friends.

I GAVE OVER A MONTHS CANCELLATION NOTICE AND RECEIVED A CANCELLATION CONFIRMATION EMAIL STATING I OWE NOTHING. THEN I RECEIVED A NOTICE OF DEFAULT THREATENING ACTION AGAINST ME!!!! YOU AND YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE PATHETIC AND USELESS!!!!

I called them to cancel the auto renewal as I didn't intend to stay with them the next upcoming year instead they cancelled the whole policy they said by mistake and so I couldn't drive my van for the next few hours while my job required me to do so. Soon after I received new policy with new policy number for the time remaining but the problem is that now they sent me two different letters with zero years No Claim bonuses as none of the policies didn't last the full year.

I am unable to login and see my documents for public liability. They renewed my insurance without emailing or notifying me in any way, just took the money. When I try to login I get this HTTP 404 error. They are a nightmare to get hold of.

Hi I have been with this insurance company for years. They always rise the price each year instead of dropping it down. They will basically rip you off your money. Waste of time company!

A very poor customer service..auto renewal added without permission. Asked for it to be removed and they never did had to get in touch again and still never did. . Fish and chippy setup Tosspots

Gladiator will auto renew without your permission - beware. We paid for our insurance in full - no claims during the period of cover. They then tried to auto renew and were un successful. After the third time of trying to take money without permission they " cancelled " the renewed insurance that we hadn't even asked for and sent us a cancellation charge. Currently the matter is with the ombudsman as it's no more than a bully tactic . Happy to take Admiral to the small claims court and let others know on social media that they are not to be trusted . Horrible company, my dad rung to make sure they recieved his documents since he didnt recieve a confirmation e-mail. They then started asking him a million questions that he already filled out without getting him a translator to try and catch him out because we're not from here. then when he didnt understand everything and gave them a few wrong answers over the phone they cancelled his insurance. I then rung them and they told me there was nothing they could do
