I phoned JLI , they said we have in February 2021 taken out a new policy provider headed by Munich Re. and are at present refining these house insurance products. But we can’t offer you insurance at present.
How then does J.Lewis get a Defaqto 5 star grading?”

I called the customer services who were happy to make the changes and even happier to take more money from me. The additional charge was almost as much as my original premium! I ran a new quote through gocompare just to make sure that it wasn't because my new car was generally more expensive to insure and it barely was. Were it not for the fact I was told that I had already used my no claims bonus, it would have been cheaper to cancel and buy a whole new policy.

“Good customer service, however the price was jacked up the following year. Cancelled policy and re-bought through go compare again to get a fair price again. Seemed a right time

“Provide a great first quote but the renewal leaps in price so I cancel the renewal and simply take out a new policy. It seems really stupid. Also, they would not insure my new puppy as it was not a recognised breed, a Schnoodle, schnauzer/poodle. Don't now if I will buy from them again”

“Iv'e found J LEWIS insurance quite good on taking out a policy with them. They are much the same as any quality provider, I just feel comfortable with them. I have no need yet to make a claim thankfully so i can't comment on that side of the policy.”
