“Bought insurance and the company went bust so lost my money! Avoid”

“As stated below. lots of email communication saying that it was the Gibraltar company that is going into liquidation. then an email saying my insurance policy will end 21/1/2022. loss of NCB as it was not a full year and 90% pro rata refund at some point. They are now saying that they are just a comparison site. the customer service has always been bad but this is poor. pay cheap and all that, they are fine if nothing happens and you just pay each year.”

“Worst customer service I've ever had from an insurance company. Extremely excessive admin charges and when I spoke to one of the agents from MCE, they were no help whatsoever. Will never recommend or use MCE again.”

“You are the worst company . 7 of 8 instalments payed lost 5 months of insurance lost 400£ deposit lost 3 months that been overpaid. To all new customers do not buy insurance from them”

“I was looking to insure my trials bike so I could take part in road trials. I carefully read all the documents beforehand and the only exclusion mentioned was racing on race circuits or closed roads, with a definition of racing involving speed and time. Purchased the policy and received the Certificate of Motor Insurance which suddenly states that use for trials is not covered. I was mis-sold this policy as this exclusion was never mentioned until I'd bought the policy and even in the cooling off period it would cost me £45 to cancel it. Very poor service. Definitely would not recommend this company!”

“Very easy to do sorted in a matter for seconds but either I missed or there isn't a section to chose what time the cover starts from what might be good too add :) but otherwise amazing”

“I used a well known comparison site. Price and add-ons were ok. I don't like talking to "real" people for quotes etc as they seem to want to up the prices so I was happy that all the stuff I wanted could be done online. Only snag was error message to get into my portal which I don't really need it as all documentation was emailed over to me. No real hassle but no more or less than any others I've used previously for bikes or cars.”
