I HAVE ALREADY TAKEN MY INSURANCE OUT WITH YOU, AND YOU GIVE ME A QUOTE THAT IS CHEAPER THAN WHAT I PAID AND YOU KEEP SENDING EMAILS

Missed my renewal. This made life difficult as all documents from old policy were no longer on portal, so a phone call it was.. looked up the number on the net, called the number, told me number wasn't used call blar blar, £8 that cost. Then received a message telling me MCE's number is blar blar, £3 that cost to receive (didn't even know text could do that) took a policy out with MCE before i noticed the charges on my phone. gutted. when i cast my mind back, i also had a £17 phone call to MCE 5 years ago when i made changes to my policy. There's just no need. No problems with the policy.

Service is quick and easy to use - got two stars for that, my premium doubled upon my latest renewal for no reason at all. The reason I was given was well it’s going up for everyone not just you. Makes no sense to double it for no fault of my own. I then had to wait for my insurance to expire and get a quote as a new customer to save £100 off the doubled premium.

I just had an extremely frustrating experience trying to clarify points of my renewal policy. Logged onto the portal which gave few options. Tried through this to message the team, this didn't work. Called the number and selected the option 'issues with portal' to then be told by the call taker to log on to my portal, which I was. Unfortunately I found the call taker very difficult to understand and she kept asking me to do what I'd already done. After going around in circles for a while she then told me that i have to log into a new portal of which there was no mention of previously and no instruction. As well as that, my premium has gone up by around 30% Not a good experience this year, wouldn't recommend.

My premium has gone up 30%, I couldn’t get into my portal as they had completed IT works that they did not advise anyone of that was blocking my entry , and I could neither get through on online chat when needed . When I did eventually get through , the assistance was very good . I used to put up with the bad service as they were quite cheap, however, now that this no longer seems to be the case, I’ll be shopping around for the next one.

Significant price increase with no explanation. Couldn't speak to anyone as no phone number available to find out. Web based renewal process was disappointing, didn't like my card details, it took multiple attempts even with help from online messaging app. Process was awkward and took too long.

Using auto fill to enter email address will not work. You need to type in your email address. Price was way higher than last year, and could not get a satisfactory reason from company, just blamed the underwriters. Entering your date of birth on the new system is a time consuming, pain in the backside. Overall, not impressed at all.

Wanted to renew policy..but could log on .I've chat was useless..couldn't ring on phone has there's no renewal button number...had to leave a email for someone to ring me...half a day messing around...felt like going with someone else... not good ....

almost impossible to renew . tried online, tried logging into my account. then searched for ages to get the correct phone number. every way I tried I just ended up with live chat, telling me to log on. Which failed just because I had not log on for a while. Why oh why do I need to log in regularly????

My insurance run out on the 3rd December and on the 4th I had to renew it by going back on to a site as you would not let me renew it and it cost me £25 more I’ve been with you for ten years so I’m not happy and also I’m not happy that I can’t ring and do my insurance over the phone next year I will go to someone who I can talk to on the phone many thanks.

I know that I'm insured Disappointed that despite being do careful, no accidents in the last year insurance has as good as doubled with no clear reason why. It's making me think about getting rid of the bike as I've now paid nearly the cost of the bike in insurance in the last 2yrs

During the term MCE were fine. When the related underwriter went into administration and took their cover out initially their comms were good but soon I was inundated with confusing and seeming contradictory emails and texts. Ultimately I had no idea what was going on. Amid all of that they tried to quote me for a new policy. Meanwhile I took one out somewhere else while MCEs messages about my apparent (to them) lack of cover grew not only more frequent but unfriendly and almost threatening. Ive never responded and would never use them again

My renewal quote email went to my junk box.. I didn’t receive any other emails. I thought my insurance continued otherwise. I got an email the day my insurance relapsed and MCE wouldn’t give me the same quote they wanted over £100 more

Happy with the price and the quote, I called up to accept the policy and was put on hold for over 5 times, transferred to 2 different departments and all I wanted to do was make a payment, the reps are very slow in dealing with calls, asking the same questions over and over again. Not happy with the service at all

Less than happy but was the cheapest. I sent an email back in October 2020 still waiting on my reply. Customer services leaves you wondering who is paying who! As long as you don’t need them, or want anything you’ll be fine!
