I rung after having a silly online quote. Sales person was very abrupt in her manner very quick in her speech. Seemed as if she was in a hurry and I was in the way.

I hope the insurance is better than the way they treat perspective customers. The sales number is a premium rate number which they put on a waiting queue and don't answer. I did email customer services to say it was outrageous, I've had no reply. How good is the insurance, I hope I never find out, but my hopes are not up

Hi. I think the number for breakdown should be a free one I not always have creited in my phone and the land line should be free to talk

I too have a policy running with two bikes over an hour on phone wait to be told I would be put through to different dept nightmare trying to give you my money for a third bike, gave up. Probably change next year —not good enough for a big company need more staff to answer customers

Had to go through it three times as my quote was way over what I got when using go compare!, Same information just wrong figure, And I was still £10 over my quote, don’t except the first or second keep at em!

Taken out bike Insurance last year and wanted to renew, tried to chat to them neither customer service or sales could help with renewals and gave me a number to call, waited on hold for 45mins before I have up, on chat again left my details for someone to callback to discuss renewal and also why Insurance cover is £500+ but excess is £1050. Waited for weeks till I had to go online and get a fresh quote as my insurance was running out. Nobody ever got back via phone or email or any other method to discuss renewal or why excess was so high and if it could be lowered. Not very happy but was only affordable Insurance I could get so went with them again. Hoping they might read this and get back if there's something better to offer me, who knows.

Been insured with them for 1 year put a claim in and been chasing them for settlement figure only to be told lies. Cheap insurance yes but dealing with claims am sure there are better companies out there.

I called MCE on a 01933 number twice, no response, kept in a queue so hung up on both occasions which cost me money. So I decided to do a live chat which I did and was told I would receive a call back, which I didn't. So I went on live chat again and had to insist that they log me for a call back a second time and not rely on the first operator who may not have logged it at all. No reply after the second live chat so I then sent an email with copies of both live chat transcripts and still no reply. So then I woke up really early to catch the telephone lines as they just open (08:30) and spoke to an operator who was very helpful and very patient. I wish I could remember his name so I could quote it on here. So to sum up, really for service provided by the live chat it's 1 star, but for the operator I give him 5 stars. Shouldn't have to ring MCE a third time.

Was left on hold for 70 minutes waiting for an agent. Eventually spoke with someone on chat (while still holding), who said they weren’t actually busy. He arranged for a call back from them. No apologies from the call handler when I said what had happened. Their customer service leaves A LOT to be desired! Call handlers always seem quite put out over the phone. 2/10

Poor telephone service waited 25 minutes initially to speak to someone who did not understand that I was an existing customer. The female agent was not helpful at all to the point where I terminated the call and got a different agent. Paperwork came through quick this time

Spent 35 mins hanging on the phone listening to dodgey music and when someone did answer the line went dead.so tried again, got put through to a department that was closed,just a voice recording.Unable to get a query answered cause of long time hanging on the phone know Covid9 has has a lot to do with a lot of people working from home,but please inform customers of the lengthy wait.

One of the customer service members is rude . I said to him let me think . He said yes or no . Also how he talk no polite at all. I can not remember his name . But not the one who renewed my insurance. He was ok . Before last time I called to renew but after listening to member I left the phone.

Price was expensive. Incorrectly put information down on the insurance documents incorrectly and then wanted to charge me to correct it, had to wait on three separate telephone calls over 1 hour each before I was served, no calls returned, tried the online chat and the operator kept terminating the call and then denying it. The final straw came when they informed me they may want a certificate regarding the bike's rating. Luckily found another company cheaper and with better cover.

Very good price, hence two stars. Credit card payment failed to complete, twice. It was Saturday so left it until Monday, credit card payment failed to complete, despite buying other things inbetween. Tride my debit card, seemed to work. Waited for email with policy details nothing. Tuesday still nothing, checked bank account, payment was still pending. Wednesday opened a live web chat, gave my ref number, name. DOB, address and was told she could not find me on the system and I had to phone 01933 351 361 to which I said what and pay 10p a minute. She said she could not get me a call back. So I phoned but the line was dead, did not even ring. Back on the live chat said the number is dead, Carlos said they were having an update, what was my problem, so I explained again and Carlos said he would try to find out.... at this moment I gat an email from MCE with my policy details etc.

Have been with MCE.for several years,I was notified my renewal was due completed new application on line and got a competitive quote but needed to speak to a sales person to verify a change to policy,unable to through by telephone after trying for a total of over two hours I gave up called another broker got all sorted and paid for within twenty minutes.This is appalling,another customer lost.

The website was not working and no due to service problems and no notification was placed the home page and it took several attempts to get insured finally I telephoned to complete the transaction

Existing customer. Unable to get through by telephone 3 times. Had to buy a new policy online with same company despite having 3 months left on existing. Online help to no help just offered a phone number which I didn't get through on

I wanted policy to be emailed automatically ,then had problems logging on sorted now after lot of hassle but good price .

The insurance for the bike very good talking to someone very helpfull but the phone bill was £26 not good
