Got a quote online, would not allow me to pay so I had to ring up. Then the price was £40 more because of what you dem is a garage. Waited nearly 6 days for the documents to be sent to my email. Used the Live Chat only to find out you have to register on your website to get the documents, would not let me register, then was sent the documents with parts of it wrong, got that changed via Live Chat. All in all not very happy.

Spending well over 2 hours on the phone trying to get an insurance renewal is nothing short of brutal. I don't know how the cover is as I have never had to claim. However if they are as bad at sorting claims as they are at renewals, should I have a claim, I'll expect some pain.

Did online payment for 1 years insurance only to get a failed payment . Tried again another failed payment . Both failed payment messages were from mce.. thought ill have to ring but didnt have credit on phone for premeium number ... later that night my policy came through and descovered id paid twice for 1 policy despite being told both attempts to pay had failed grrrrr Will add next day i was told about a lowcall number so didnt have to use premium number .. just get rid of premium number ... stop messing about !!! All was sorted in a freindly proffesional manner but come no need sort it out

Had I known how unuser friendly the MCE renewal experience would be I would have gone elsewhere. I had to put in every single detail again despite being a renewing customer. It was time consuming and poor especially considering how digitally adept most companies are today. I like MCE but not their renewal system.

Well I wouldn't say happy as when I went in a comparison website it offered my third part for £34 a month but when I called up you guys can only give it to me for £40 odd pound and I dont get why ??

There is probably a reason for the £60 increase from last year's premium. And this is the only reason for my poor review .It would be nice if there was an error but that I think is unlikely .I have no other issue.

Got a quote for Yamaha Tricity 125cc of over £360 for comprehensive cover. Been riding superbikes all my life with a clean license. Went to Go Compare and got better insurance cover (which included roadside assistance) and lower voluntary excess for £160.

When setting up my insurance, their website was unable to process my payment - I tried a bunch of times and it timed out every time. I then called to pay for the online quote, the call was cut off six times and I was given a quote £40 more than my online quote. I think I spoke to every person in the call centre - some of them twice before they finally managed to take my money from me. It took me about 3 hours to get this set up, as much as I can't speak for what they are like in the claims process, be prepared to go through several hours of frustrated phone calls before you actually get your insurance ..

I have used them twice, and it's purely down to price. Customer Service is shocking and so is their website when trying to download your insurance documentation. With them is't always a hassle, and they don't seem to know what is going on.

It was time to renew my annual bike insurance. I called in plenty of time to achieve this goal and expected after full payment, to receive accurate documents by email. When they arrived the dates and personal information was completely wrong. I attempted to contact and explain the situation, however after 20/30 minutes holding the line on a premium number, I had to give up. Later the same day I tried again and spoke to an advisor, as yet again no calls were being answered by customer services. It's important to say there was no one in the queue, so I should have been answered straight away. I explained once again that the information in my renewal was not correct, this included my address and dates of cover. I asked to speak with a manager, but was informed I would receive a call the following morning. Next day I received a further set of emailed documents. These were a repeat of the first with exactly the same errors and I have still not received the promised call. As yet I have not received a good service and am still waiting for correct documents. I then received an email asking to review the service, not good timing for MCE. I have been a customer of the company for a number of years and until now I have always been happy. So MCE let's get back to that happy status.

Over phone quote for a 2 bike policy was £150 more expensive than insuring bikes separately, same company, same policy, including Yamaha XVS 1300 with no no claims and hayabusa with full no claims. how is this possible. Was charged £45 pounds last year for change of garage address. It was to a better area and much more secure garage. Should of been £15. MCE didn't even reply to an E-Mail asking why. Why didn't I move?, laziness. Didn't want to go through the who;e details thing again. Will next year.

I’m a returning customer of about 4/5+ years and my renewal for 1 bike went up to over £350 even though there have been no claims or accidents, so I went onto a comparison website and put the exact same details I had on the last policy and what I had said over the phone. The price for the conparison website? £162!! So I then phoned back giving this reference number and then they said £182! So £20 to just run through details? When I questioned this the operator came back and said £160!

Disappointed with close to a 17.5% increase in price even though I have made no claims, more so that their own documents sent on email was inaccurate trying to say the previous years policy cost more than it did, presumably trying to disguise the significant price hike.
