“Got quote online from compare site, but phoned to see if I cud slightly change a thing or too. Call handler was lovely and friendly my second year of been with mce and always friendly when u phone to speak to anyone. Also very reasonable quote that I'm happy with.”

“contacted for renewal a few weeks beforehand and agreed a callback for payment which never happened , policy lapsed. called up and was given hire quote , done the renewal online worked out £20 cheaper which worked out well.”

“Painful wait to get through to speak to someone as website would not recognise my bike or let me proceed any further, but all sorted once I was able to speak with a human !! Good cover , but think the excess is a bit high.”

“Happy with renewal price although you need to re-enter all your details which can be a pain. I have had issues few times with the drop down menus for years of NCB etc. The excess is quite high and maybe offering excess insurance could be an idea. Have been with them for about 8 years and their prices still competitive although others are catching quickly.”

“I renewed my policy as the quote given was competitive. This is first time I have not received a large hike in price at renewal time and I give MCE credit for this. Renewal quotes are usually so ridiculous that I go elsewhere. The compulsory excess is rather large but that's my only complaint.”

“Just changed to MCE ater 20 years with Carol Nash. MCE were by far the cheapest for the same level of cover. So far so good.”
