“RIP OFF and Disgusted at the price for a rabbit to have his teeth cut! £70... This was your Hastings St Leonard’s-on-Sea.. They told us £40 for consult and £30 for the actual teeth to be trimmed. After having this done I’m absolutely disgusted to find that my local vets only charge £17 that’s for consult and teeth cut.. So as a family we will never step foot into a pets at home vets side of things ever again.. When usually the local vets are a lot higher in prices I’m very disappointed.. Next time I will definitely shop with my local vets!!”

“Bought some simple solution chew stopper today used half a bottle everywhere already made no effect whatsoever like spraying water. £7.50 a bottle scandalous”

“They sell hamster cages and wheels that are far too small 😥 Have had to replace everything at considerable expense. Pets at home did not care about the well being of my hamster, only about taking my money. Horrible company.”

“I asked to purchase 2 tropical fish and they asked me a questionare. i was told due to the numbers i already had in my tank they would not sell me any. I told them i was setting up a new tank but they said no. I told them that there tanks had 3 times more fish than mine so they were breaking there own rules and there were dead fish in them and they still said no and could not care less. The gay camp blond manager was so rude and said we are not selling you any fish. No sorry or anything! Just very cold and didnt care a bit. Im a grown nan and was spoken diwn to like a child! Last time I go there! terrible place! I went to a family run pet shop near me and they were so helpful and i got what i wanted.”

“Pets at home in Canterbury wincheap a lady called Ceri has helped me on more than one occasion and has been amazing with helping me get everything I need for my 13 week old puppy and I will gladly keep going back there as all the staff have been very friendly”

“Pets at home At Alban's. Staff manning the door very polite and ensuring no groups coming in but there was 1 customer who didn't want to follow the rules like everyone else and shouted at the manager and verbally abused him. Don't know how the manager kept his cool. Behaved in such a professional manner. When man couldn't get a reaction he started shouting at other staff and customers. Think the police had to be called. Well done that manager.”

“Been shopping here for years but today me and my daughter got to the doors and were REFUSED entry because we were together W.T.F!😮 quote they said "its like this everywhere you go now", NO it is not like this everywhere you go now as we had spent the morning in various shops like Wilko/B&Q and Morrisons, because you have refused us entry we have taken our business elsewhere! a quick google search showed a local smaller business and we went there and it was so LOVELY to be WELCOMED by FRIENDLY STAFF who are not pushing idiotic NONESENSE set by their head office, if i was that way inclined me and my daughter could go back to your s**t business and go in separately then meet up once in side! YOU ARE SO DUMB 👎”

“I visited my local pets at home store today (23jan 2021) to be told only 1 adult would be allowed in to the shop so my husband went to wait in the car. While I was in the store there was several couples let in after me and at least 2 queuing to get in. If this is the case the the manager/supervisor needs to stay on the door so they can keep an eye on the entrance.”

“Colindale store - The customer service is poor, I was in the shop for 3 hours in total, spoken to quite rudely by two staff members when I asked for help, even another customer I did not know, over heard and said to me they are rude . I love the shop! The staff need to be more pleasant for sure.”

“I would like to thank Luke from pets at home Botley for the most amazing customer service and going above and beyond for myself and my 3yr old son. My sons pet fish died and couldn’t understand what that meant and felt it needed to see a vet. I took my son and his fish here and Luke was so helpful with pretending to be a vet and bringing back a new alike fish for my son. My son was elated. He really made a little boy extremely happy. I am grateful. Thank you Luke, pets at home are very lucky to have you as an employee.”

“Pets at Home Lincoln Following an extremely rude and upsetting experience's my wife had with a member of staff when she tried to return a faulty dog harness, i decided to return the next day to discuss this with the manager. On arrival at the door controlling entry into the store due to Covid, was a member of staff who resembled the person my wife described. She confirmed she was and i asked of i could speak to the manager as i was unhappy at the way my wife had been treated, only to be told that she was the manager. Asking if we could talk away from the main doors she refused saying that if i wanted to make a complaint i would have to do it right their, in the doorway, in front of a queue of people waiting to come in. In light of this i have written 4 times now to customer services to complain about this over the last 6 weeks or so. To date not one single response. At least in this case customer service is non existent!”

“Absolutely awful experience at the groom room at pets at home. After telling them my dog has had a leg operation, they confirmed they would still be able to wash and cut him. While collecting my dog, they had not even done a half decent job and claimed that we did not tell them about his operation. They left his nails long, even though we had paid to get them cut!!! Aside from the awful job they did Grooming my dog, the staffs attitude towards us as customers was absolutely disgusting. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY”

She saved my poodle's life by completing my order which was out of stock when dispatching. She reached out and help me to check stock around and finally got one for me. “PETS AT HOME FARNBOROUGH. I bought 4 different types of fish on January 2nd, including 2 snails and 2 catfish. In total I bought about 15 fish. 1 week later I have 3 left. The catfish were SO bloated and died within 2 days where he'sskin had strecthed so much. ALL my fish got white spot disease from my loach I bought at PETS AT HOME. I AM DISGUSTED IN how pets at home treat their fish. I went today to get my water tested. It was absolutely fine. In EVERY single fish tank there were at least TWO fish dead which looks like they have been dead and not taken out for at least a few days. SHRIMPS were eaten alive, had no heads on them and were still left in the fish tank! I am DISGUSTED AND GOBSMACKED how these fish are looked after. It doesn't matter whether its a dog, cat or fish, they are ALL still living creatures and all have a right to live a healthy, happy life. PETS AT HOME just care about the money and the business rather than the health and upkeep of their pets. DISGUSTED after what I saw today and what I have been through with my fish. I will be taking this further and making sure someone steps into these branches to make sure their animals are being looked after in the right manner. I do infact know that Pets at home have been on WATCH DOG already for how they treat their live animals and I will be reporting this again to WATCH DOG and taking every step I can to make sure that these fish AND other living creatures are being looked after correctly and are not there just to be sold to make money. DISGRACEFUL.”
