Sold my car, told them I didn't want the automatic renewal when it came through and was charged 1 month + cancellation fees having to pay over £70.

“Given a chance they will rip you off. Like changing your car over, I changed an Alfa Romeo GT to a little Peugeot 306 and my insurance went up about £200, I done all I could to argue how unjust it was but they just said "oh sorry they were just the prices for day" basically said... Oh sorry we just ripped you off but there's not anything you can do about it oh and I had to that online cause to make that simple change over phone was a £30 charge.”

You end up calling, listening to a 20 minute message about everthing being easier online, only to be told there's nothing they can do.
