Absolutely shocking insurance company. Please, don't make the same mistake I made by signing up with this people because they are £30 cheaper than the next. I took out a policy on an electric car and did everything by the book. They sent me this damn tracker and charged me £150 for the privilege. They told me to attach it to my car battery. I informed them that, as it states on my record, I don't have a car battery. When looking into their idiocy, they informed me that I received the insurance by error and should not have been insured. They cancelled my policy with seven days notice and gave me a pro rata refund. Then they went and charged me cancelation fees which I had to fight to get refunded. But, it gets better... Four days after my insurance was void, they went and charged me a full years premium for missing no claims evidence, even though I sent the email after two weeks prior, and, I only had the insurance for a month. Unreal! This fee of £218+ was done without my knowledge or authorisation and done after the policy was cancelled. Having spoken to Wise Driving they said the fee was fair because I had not sent in my no claims. After I sent in evidence of the email thread they now said they will send it for referral because, the surcharge fee was charged after the policy was cancelled and that was... unusual. Ya think!

Never heard about a company like this, and i drive in my country for more than 10 years. I started my insurance because i finished my maternity leave and wanted to have an insurance in my name to drive my husband car when needed. First 2 weeks i drove just to the supermarket, i got an email from wisedriving saying that i have good driving score that i would be refunded in my insurance monthly pay. I went on annual leave and enjoyed more than 1 week out of the country, and when i got home i got an email from then saying that my insurance was cancelled because they havent got any record of my driving. OBVIOUSLY they wouldnt get any record because i m not driving regularly PLUS i went out of the country. Completely joke, charged cancelation fee. And to be honest i m grateful it was cancelled. A company that tecnically demands drivers to drive every day and to justify whatever they do through an app when i spoke with other people and aparently the app does not work well. The company should rethink they policies, the feedback on the comunity is going seriously downhill, very bad reputation. A company that should protect drivers is arranging tricky ways to take money from people. ITS A SCORE OF ZERO STARS, NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.

Hi Diana, We're sorry to hear you're unhappy. First, we would like to advise if the vehicle is owned by your husband and he has his own insurance policy, a new policy should not be taken out in your name as this is call dual insurance and is not acceptable to insurers, there can only be one insurance company insuring the vehicle at any time. You would need to be added to your husband's insurance as a named driver. In regards to a box not collecting data, this is only reported to us after 21 days of no data being collected therefore a week of not driving would not have triggered this. Absolutely horrible customer service advisors rude and a rubbish insurance company that don't accept your no claims and double your payments extra every month

Worst company I have ever been with, they told me my driving score needed improving, meanwhile my car was out of use because it had broken down, and because of this they charged me an extra 130 pounds because I couldn't drive and improve my score, I wouldn't recommend this insurer to my worst enemy and wouldn't want anyone to have to deal with the terrible customer service and help they give, I dont even think it deserves a 1 star rating, 0 sounds more like it, DONT USE THIS INSURER

Having a really difficult time with this company right now I thought they were a really cheap company the first year I was with them and now started my second year and bought a new car and to change my vehicle details it’s costing me a fortune to transfer the details plus I have to pay money to get a new black box fitted in the new car which is a joke, the fees this company tries to charge for things that shouldn’t cost anything is ridiculous I can’t even cancel the policy as it costs me another 400 odd pounds to do that just think they are scamming me out of my money either way literally have no way out of this!!! Do not recommend getting yourself in with this company as once your in you can’t get back out without being charged an enormous feee!!

Hi, We're sorry to read you're unhappy. The price of a policy is based on all the details you provide. As a broker, we manager and arrange the insurance but the cover, any claims and price are controlled by an insurer. When a price is given the insurer has looked at all the details against statistics to see how they affect the chances of a claim being made. If these details are then changed this can affect the price as the insurer will need to look at the new details so see how this changes the risk of a claim being made. If the new details mean the chances of a claim being made are higher, the price can increase. If a change of vehicle is made then a new box does need to be fitted to the new car, all our fees are advised in our terms and conditions. It's a pity that I can't give zero or minus for scoring WiseDriving. Be extremely careful when you cancel your policy. You'll be shocked with the extra fees that will charge you. They charge you without mentioning this in the terms and conditions. I am in the middle of the process to take the company to the court.

Appalling service. Front and back end, and only 1 month into my insurance. Should have checked the reviews online as the majority of them are negative and indicative of the service they provide.

I have applied for a policy with wisedriving, they require a black box to be installed in the car before the policy started. Because the engineer was sick they were unable to book me appointment within the time programmed, they cancelled my policy without my consent and charge me in total £363.00 for a service that I never got it. Definitely don't recomend this service.

They are not real and they give you les price in start then after short time they start to force you to pay them extra for unreasonable matter like Driving with 32 mile per hours or things like that as I called dirty money and dirty business im not happy with them at all

Terrible flexibility when fitting the black box, they chose when it was fitted apposed to letting me pick a time that suited me. They upped my monthly payments by more that £100 without informing me and when they did I was told it would be a £400 fine due to my driving score and yet here I am still getting fined after I’ve paid just shy or £1000 additional ontop of my already quoted amount Also I cannot and never have been able to get onto the driving portal, where you check your driving score I have asked employees multiple times and they give me the wrong information time and time again Overall useless money grabbers I would not recommend to anyone, even if I hated them

Hi Elijah, We're sorry to hear you're unhappy. In regards to the install, these are arranged with an installation company. We can look into this for you. Whenever a price change is done on the policy and email is sent to advise of this, we also do advise that the price of the policy will depend on your driving behaviours, the safer and higher the score you could earn money off, but equally if the score drops and shows unsafe driving behaviours could result in additional amount added. With your portal this is available on our website on the "My Account" section, on the login screen there is a register button, click on this and fill out the information requested and follow instructions and you will be able to access your portal and dashboard. Cancelled my insurance company after taking 146 pounds from my account then send me an email saying they are charging me money for the amount of days ive been with them and for cancelling the policy, when phoned the staff member was so rude it was disgusting cant keep brushing everyone off saying the same thing please report these cowboys to financial ombudsman service, the more that do this the better a chance something actually gets done about this scamming company!!!!! Cancelled my insurance claming my acceleration is always low etc.. box clearly is far far far to over sensitive!!!

Anyone that is giving this company 5 stars are 100% lying. I can tell you that for free. If you’re a new driver looking for insurance and you go with them, you’re going to regret it. That’s all I’m going to say before they increase my insurance again. Kmt.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. This conpany is terrible. Ridiculous charges and even though they cancelled installation of a new black box as the engineer was unwell. They were happy to take my monthly payment and within a few days cancelled my policy as the black box was not installed and was yet to make another appointment. They now insist I owe them money. Absolute joke of a company and I will be making further complaints to the ombudsmen

Absolutely shocking insurance company and would not use them again or advise anyone else to use them. Had an expensive insurance policy to start with due to car - was expected however after having this car 2 months (changed car 2 months into policy) black box readings put my insurance up £900 not only a rediculous amount but was based on ‘acceleration’ looked at how to get a better score, was gear changing. Well considering this was a 17 plate automatic car that was driven in eco mode I highly doubt that the gear changes were done at the wrong time???! What a joke cancelled my insurance wanting almost £400 to cancel after months of monthly instalments just short of £500. What a RIP OFF!!!!

Paid in full for insurance, had a premium return due to good driving, but then reading on telematics box suddenly went down even through not driving any different... dropped 10 points but still in good zone they then say they are going to take extra 47 pounds from me. Questioned black box readings as was driving well as wanted more score to stay the same. Complained said upto 8 weeks for complaint to be looked into. Cancelled insuranced, gone with no black box as it’s a joke companies ripping off young drivers
