Shocking company! Abysmal customer service skills ! The operator wasn't allowed to give me a manager's name - shocking!! My daugther cannot get the black box fitted as the fitters don't have any appointments until 12 Jan so Wise are cancelling her insurance and charging her £150 for the black box ! (I don't think so as not been fitted) and cancellation fee! Really appalling company - DO NOT USE!! Just hope we can reinsurance elsewhere.

Absolutely the worst insurance company! My son stayed above 90% his whole policy & received 7% discount in total! Was told that he could get up to 40% if he maintained a good score on his black box? They don't not reward good driving scores for young drivers & the manager was very rude when I rang to query it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WISE OR BE RENEWING HIS POLICY WITH THEM.

First of all you pay a depotit ( which is normal ) but try and make you pay another one?! When my telematics devise wouldn’t work they said they will cancel my insurance! Then they kept recording my friends driving! Which her acceleration wasn’t great so it made my score go down ( bearing in mind I rang them before telling them this is what happened and they didn’t give me a solution!) this happened again and rhen they decided to tell me when I had to cancel them journeys after upping my monthly instalments! To £250pm! I then get a new car and asked for new quote and they said my monthly instalments won’t change in price you just have to pay a change over fee! I then changed over and they added another £230 onto my premium and it got split across the rest of my instalments which took my insurance from £155 to £250 a month just a joke!! Now this morning I had a email saying they’ve cancelled my insurance when I had no idea! there response was they wasn’t getting my data from my back box when I fact they was (I have proof!) also said they emailed twice before saying they was going to cancel it and to call them when they didn’t! Everything in your fault when you have an issue it’s always your fault never there’s! DONT BOTHER GOING WITH THESE AS YOUR INSURANCER BOT WORTH IT ooh yeah also asked for another depotit to make a new policy?! The cheek

Recently spoke to them today. My driving score was recorded at 37/100 when the company records my braking, acceleration and speed all at -10 on the graph. When spoken to the company on the phone several times, they were rude in customer service, and had no clue on what to do and gave little advice to what happened next. Eventually I got through to them about the problem, after I received a malicious email from themselves about my driving score being 37 to which came with a premium of £1070 to be payed within 7 days of the email. As I am 18 year olds on minimum wage, I questioned how on earth am I meant to pay this fee in one amount. I pleaded several times if this could be payed in installments as this was the only way I could pay the fee. They rudely refused several times that this was unavailable and could only be payed in full as of the 7 days, otherwise my policy would be cancelled. They offered little advice on what to do next. How can they do this to not only me but several people from what I've read? This is beyond a joke.

My son has his car insurance with your company which is the worse company by far he paid out £2000 straight out for his insurance. He is 18 years old with no job and now he has to pay another £1000 for his acceleration score which is at 0. He has now been told he cannot pay this amount in installments. I think your company should read these reviews and do something about it.

Terrible company, hidden costs. After being charged an additional premium of £400 to which they could not justify, i then tried to amend address on policy portal to find out that apparently the car had modifications made (none at all!) to then be told they would waive the admin fee as the portal wouldn't work. When I called they then slapped a charge of £127 but would waive £30 admin fee??? Daylight robbery - stay clear at ALL costs!

Save Yourself The Heartache – Don’t Buy From Wise Driving ! Seriously this company should not be trading …… having motor insurance with this company is like have no insurance. WISE DRIVING CAR INSURANCE ARE PROBABLY THE WORST BLACK BOX AND CAR INSURANCE PROVIDER IN THE UK !

After insuring my car with Wise Driving, I claimed on my policy due to a no-fault accident, this resulted in my insurance being cancelled and my car being seized.

Since the recent update (early December 2018) I have not been able to connect my phone to the device. After a few weeks of trying to get this sorted I’ve now been told my policy is being cancelled and I HAVE TO PAY cancellation fees!! Absolutely obsurd. I am sorry that your app/device is useless just don’t make us customers pay for your mistakes. Been trying to get a new device for over a month now but nothing.

Scumbag company, cancelled my insurance after there app stopped working for the black box. Called them up and informed them off this and said my insurance would not be cancelled. 3 days later my insurance is cancelled leaving me no insurance over Christmas and having to fork out to get reinsured. There customer support agents are rude and laugh down the phone with no empathy or willingness to help you. I will be taking legal action against these predators and will also make sure they get shut down. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely awful company. They seem to prey on young drivers with good rates and then use every opportunity to use bullying tactics to penalise at every opportunity with a continuous threat of cancellation even when they have had full payment . Communication is poor and after problems resolved think they have the right to come back 5 months later asking for more money . Do not use this company at any cost . Do not be fooled

Scam of a company. Took over £200 deposit then because they would only offer me appointments whilst I was on a four day holiday with my car they cancelled my insurance and haven't refunded the deposit. even before cancellation the process was stressful having to phone every day to try and get an appointment, being told people would call back or waiting on hold for almost an hour at a time! They lie, let you down and steal your money. Oh, and then leave you with no cover so you have to payout to another company on top of it! Scammers! DO NOT USE!! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR LOW RATES

If I could give no stars I would ! Do not insure with this company ! Quick enough to take your money but do not try to help even when you call numerous times and wait on hold for 40 mins at a time ! Then they go ahead and cancel insurance even tho you are still trying to rectify the situation ! Stay away from this company !

I am appalled at every aspect of this company. Considering I work in a customer service role myself I understand the importance of good customer service and it seems to me that once you have paid for your insurance the members of staff working here do everything but try to help you. I have recently just received the most vague email saying my driving was being reviewed and then to my horror received an email saying I was being charged £222 premium, right before Christmas as well! I rang up and spoke to a Yusri, asking for this to be explained and again absolutely horrific customer service and so rude!!! He explained that my driving score had dropped by 10 for about 1-2 days yet my average score had been consistently above 60 it was just for this particular occasion. An this therefore meant I was being charged an additional £222 with no warning! Would love to understand where this number was plucked from? I booked my insurance over the phone and at no point was I made aware of this 10 point rule which apparently ‘I should have read the t&c’s after booking’ this vital piece of information is not something that should be in small print as you are getting ripped off such an excessive amount. I constantly checked my dashboard and my overall score was within very good and excellent so of course I felt I had no reason to believe I was in danger of being charged a premium. I also tried to access the app which does not work an will not log you in so your only way of checking your score is on the dashboard. To add to this my speed is not the issue as I stick to the speed limit this is based upon my acceleration and braking which is not something that I can entirely control if somebody pulls out in front of me. I will be raising awareness on issues like this to ensure other members of the public are not ripped off by companies like this. I would urge people to read the other reviews on this company, hopefully this company can see its errors and review their terminology and disclosing more information to the consumer as people should be fully aware of what is expected of them. Overall I would be ashamed to be running a company like this offering this woeful level of service.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Took insurance out with a black box and all was fine. Then I get an email requesting documents, the email was very vague so I emailed back for clarification of what documents they needed. No reply. I then got an email saying my policy will be cancelled within a week if I don’t send the documents, this email clearly stated what documents they needed, so I sent them with no problem (I sent them on a Sunday morning) I then had a response on the Wednesday which was the proposed cancellation date which said the V5 was insufficient and I had a further 21 days to send another copy. Next day policy got cancelled. Obviously I have been in touch with customer service and a manager, which are useless and unprofessional. The agents don’t have a clue what they’re talking about half the time and all they are interested in is the money. I Tried saying I should have a further 21 days as that’s what the latest email stated. I would understand if I had not co operated however I have sent various emails and have had no replies however they claim this is the main way of communication. Still waiting for a call back 3 days later than expected for a solution. Policy has been wrongly cancelled and now my insurance will increase due to having the policy cancelled which doesn’t look good on myself. Worst insurance company I’ve ever come across, do not take a policy out with them under any circumstances

It doesn’t let me log in the app, even after registering again, also I need to sometimes make journeys after 11pm but wise driving doesn’t let me, wouldn’t recommend this.

Awful company. Missed a payment because I was ill in hospital and explained this and wanted to arrange payment back and just got ignored and cancelled policy anyway. Also the score on the box dropped alot even though my car has been permanently stationery on my drive for weeks

Absolutely rubbish company. Was in an accident and they didn’t try very hard to get it sorted. Full fault of the other driver (stagecoach driver) and wisedrive phoned saying they couldn’t get hold of the other company (again stagecoach). Bare in mind the bus has a camera on the side of it, but the driver didn’t report the incident (clearly knowing he was in the wrong and the footage would show that) and wisedrive just let it go, so I had to pay for my own repair and then find out that they have taken my no claims as well. Would not recommend at all.
