Very bad experience with car insurance from the beginning, do not go for this cheap type insurance, very big mistake!!!

Not happy at all I have had two black boxes previously and not had to Pay any more ever. Yetnow you have put the premuium right up by over £300 if I had known this would happen I would’ve never chosen to insure with you

Lots of hidden charges and customer service is useless. Box is absolutely useless, somehow managed to get an acceleration score of 0 in a 1.2 litre car

Total crooks avoid !!!!charged my son £450 pounds for two weeks insurance and then refused to insure the car or refund any money . Also charged for a black box they never fitted and a cancellation fee when they cancelled the policy starting the car was modified when it had factory fitted tinted windows . Avoid these money grabbing idiots as much as possible they will RIP you off

Absolutely Terrible customer service, telephone lines don’t function properly causing lack of communication between customer and client, no lenience on anything. Do not use this company.

Customer service doesn’t even merit 1 star! Have to be the most robotic staff ever! Clearly not in the uk! DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY! Facebook staff just as bad! Check Twitter they are a shambles

Clearly the people giving 5 starts are staff members to make it look good!! They are the worst! Complaint is going to ombudsman! Trust the negative reviews people they are NOT good! Wish I could upload pics to show the proof that they tamper with scores and then claim it’s on a daily basis they are changed, prove them wrong and it’s now 48 hours before they are updated, no way to see an individual journey so as soon as you sign up you are in their web!! BE WARNED

Please be assured we don't create any fake reviews, and we welcome feedback from all of our customers. The driving dashboard can take up to 48 hours to update, however after this point drivers can view their journeys and scores whenever they need to. The service is terrible and I am very unhappy at the way this company has treated me. I insured my car in September and didn’t know there were any problems with my black box. I only check my emails every few days: I got an email today telling me my insurance was cancelled. When I rang I was told that there was no data from my black box and I hadn’t replied to an email from 5 days ago so my insurance was cancelled. I said there had been a blue light showing on the box so I didn’t know there was a problem. I have been offered less than a 1/3 of my money back. I am really appalled at this service and it has now left me with huge problems getting more insurance & getting to work. Is anyone else seeking legal advice about a class action as this seems to be happening to a lot of young drivers and it is unfair and unacceptable practice.

If I could give a 0 star I would! Wise driving gives black box’s a bad name! Do not use, I would recommend more than black box, close to perfect with scores, helpful with issues 😁

Been with this company 3 years and 9 months. I had to pay 70+ pound a month first time and it kept going up and up. For my 1.2 (10 year old )cleo with 3 years no claims I was being asked to pay £85 pound. For my new 1.6 I am quoted £54! Absolute joke. Another thing is the calling quality, I called FOUR times to be put on hold. £150 cancellation fee? No. £120 to REMOVE the box?! NO. Put my new car on the insurance for 3 months? CANT GET A QUOTE FOR IT, even though we did it online and it came up with one! Can’t get on the portal... it’s okay after an hours wait you can be deregistered and have to re-register! Sort it out, I am so glad I’m leaving. The only good thing about this company is the ability I had to never have to interfere with them because it was rolling over annually. Complete let down. I called 12 times between last Friday and today, 2 people were actually helpful.

We took the day off work to await the engineer to fit the black box! however to be told a few days later that he did call and they have a photo of the front door! he obviously had not knocked on the door. We have now lost a hefty deposit and getting charged extra. You only have to read the reviews on Trust pilot and elsewhere to realise this company is scamming young drivers. My sibling is heart broken, out of pocket and unable drive her car. What should have been an enjoyable happy time after passing test as resulted in a complete nightmare! Stay away from this company!!!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Absolute worst insurance ever! This company is a scam!!! Do not go with this insurance they are not legit. I urge anybody to pay extra and go with a reputable company because by the end of your policy with wise drive you will have ended up paying more than any other company! Especially if you are a young driver you cannot afford the hidden fee’s that ARE NOT STATED IN T&C’s.

I strongly advice you not to join this insurance company, customer service is rude, they dont help with problems, from my experience worst insurance provider to join, never ending stressing, always sending me emails to cancel my policy and also random journeys was on my Dashboad. Please do not join.

What went wrong? What went right? First time I've left my previous insurer since I've been driving. I jumped at these because they were offering £400 lower which was a surprise because I've always had 100% on my telematic box. Anyway, I read a few reviews and seen people bad mouthing it but sometimes I take no notice of reviews. Boy I now wish I did. As soon as I paid the first installment they were on me then telling I have 14 days to prove my no claims. This was 9 days untill my previous insurance came to an end. Constantly on at me telling me I'm going to owe money. Extra charges. I had an email confirmation of my no claims sent them screenshot and forwarded it but still not good enough. So then I waited untill it was at an end to prove it verbally. When I came to do so I was on the phone for over 45 minutes because the lady said I couldn't do it verbally so we argued about the untill I told her let me speak to some one in a higher roll. But all was sorted eventually I had 2 emails stating everything was fine. Then 5 days later which is a Sunday I received an email saying they haven't received it so my policy will be going up an extra £600. I then rang them up as they said they were open on a sunday. The lady I spoke to had an attitude and yes there was a language barrier which was hard to break so I was even more frustrated as I've just been informed I supposed to pay 600 extra. They couldn't wait for me to get off the phone and ring tomorow. I suppose that's because they are in on a Sunday and they don't wanna be there. Wrong attitude. If you didn't charge me for leaving now even though my policy has only been in place for 7 days. I would leave. I don't leave reviews ever but this has wound me up. No need for it. And I can't wait for the policy to come to an end. No bothered about spelling and punctuation I'm ranting. STAY CLEAR FROM THIS INSURER

Disgusting customer service. I rang to cancel my policy which I got yesterday and I’ve been charged £75 to cancel it before 14 days.. should be free but the man was rude on the phone. Would not recommend to any one at all. Terrible.
