I rev up to 2.5 and I’m still on very poor acceleration... no way am I paying £400 extra for supposedly accelerating too quick!

Terrible. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Your additional charges for apparent ‘speeding’ are ludicrous. Wise driving staff are rather rude on the phone and I didn’t particularly find them helpful. You was intent on harassing me everyday via phone, email and text for a signed credit declaration which had already been posted to you. I notified the gent on the phone that I had sent it back and it was evident he didn’t add a chase note onto the system to alert other call handlers. You seem to charge what you like per a month with the excuse and reason that ‘your speeding’ ‘we only award good drivers’ or my personal favourite ‘log into your portal to track your driving’ I can’t gain access to my bloody portal...... I would personally like someone to go into detail on how driving is recorded and how one measures smoothness without actually being in my vehicle! If you value your mental health and sanity I would recommend that you stay way clear from wise driving (Wise robbers’ pay a little extra and have the piece of mind that your insurance company aren’t going to be constantly on your back.

Hi Liam, We're sorry to read that you're unhappy. In regards to the credit agreement, these are managed by a separate funding company. If you can send us a private response with your details we can go through this with you and help you access your dashboard. Thanks, Vicky

Cancelled my insurance for no reason 3 weeks before it was due to be renewed. They are not responding to my emails or my messages on messenger to resolve the issue.

Couldn't fit black box as they didn't provide the clips to attach after trying several places. They cancelled my policy without warning, even takes no out payment after cancellation. Am now unable to afford to go elsewhere due to them cancelling.

Absolutely disgusting service. Been with them for over a year and my black box has broken over 3 times and they're now blaming me? Ive had an engineer come out on 3 occasions and all 3 they claimed to have fixed it but havent. Now wisedriving are threatening to cancel my policy as the engineers cant fix it and they're claiming that on their records an engineer hasnt come out once. So overall its taken over a year for wisedriving to tell me my black box hasnt been working since installation and now my policy is going to be cancelled in 5 days which im going to have to pay for. Ive never been so angry at an insurance company. Theres no manager to talk to and ive had one of the team members sniggering at my complaint..dodgy company. AVOID

Quotes coming up are no way sensible. While I was prepared to select, it comes up that now they will not come and install that black box and I have to do myself. Trying to grab as much as they can

I wrote a review on Facebook about the telematics system and that I think mine is faulty and I got told I was wrong and you do "regular checks" I also think it's wrong how I'm full comprehensive yet I'm not covered/aloud to drive other vehicles unlike most other insurances which I think is ridiculous I'm having to pay £1700 a year for a first time driver yet you say my insurance will go down for good driving yet my telematics device always says I have poor acceleration but good speed so I dont know how you're company works that one out and also if my insurance doesn't go any lower this year i will not us you're company again and I would never ever recommend also I have just had a email to say that you are going to up my premium if my score doesn't improve which isnt going happen you can stick that one Cheers

Hi Anthony, We're sorry to read you're unhappy. Being fully comprehensive does not guarantee to include driving other vehicles. Most insurers will also have stipulations that this is not included unless you're over a certain age and/or have a certain number of years driving experience. With the scores, acceleration and speed are not connected, you can still accelerate harshly but be within the speed limit. If you can send us a private response with your details we can go through this with you. Thanks, Vicky

Box too sensitive. I have to drive dangerously slow to be able to get a good score. I wish I’d paid more to get a better company. AVOID!

Please don’t use this company their thieves. They insisted I should use an app which does not work keep on giving me sn errors. Sending letter without calculating the charges and they demand more money to be paid . I never benefit anything than stress. They lie and use their policy as a source of stealing people money even though they are in fault. If it’s possible to give a 0 I would.

Absolute joke DO NOT USE!!!! I was in an accident today which the police have admitted they caused during them responding to an immediate call and Wisedriving my insurance company have decided I am responsible regardless without investigating or speaking to the police officer dealing with the incident. No managers to speak to and apparently the first person you speak to over the phone makes the decision of your claim over the phone in 15 minutes......

I used Wise driving my first year didn't seem to be a problem my score was always under 50 - So renewed it the second year with them DISASTER, cost me £64 a month (this was never my problem), my score was under 50 it came to its first review they then cancelled my insurance. My speeding was never an issue always 100% it was the acceleration that was always 0, I read through their tips and ways to improve this it would never improve. Even though my first year went so smoothly, i was silly to renew with them the second year. I chased them for a week after 5:30 and on my lunch and the weekend and wanted them to fit my black box I was passed to the wrong black box companies giving numbers. Every time i would ring them they wouldn't know who i was this came to 2 days after my policy had started i had been calling after 5:30 when I finished work and their back office was always closed. I then got it sorted and I didn't need an appointment for it apparently this was a week later after everyday I had called. Once they cancelled my Insurance i called them up and they said it was the premium would have been to high so it was a cancellation. It was worked in my favor i now pay £20 more without a black box and no curfew. I would NOT Suggest using Wise Driving - their help team aren't helpful either they pass you around and around and leave you on hold for hours. Do your research around before using them, they may be the cheapest but the standard and customer service isn't what you want.

Hi Annalise, We're sorry to read you're unhappy. In regards to the score, the higher the score the safer the driving behaviour. So a score under 50 would be a lower score. If you can send us a private response with your details we can discuss this with you. Thanks, Vicky

Honestly there seems like no way to improve your driving score. Acceleration is always on 0 no matter how carefully i drive and half way though the breaking dropped to 0. Read the recommendations online and none of it helped.

If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT GO WITH THIS INSURANCE COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT ALL YOUR MONEY TAKEN. Firstly, black box score was an absolute load of rubbish (increased by £30 a month for no reason) which I made no complaint to. Secondly, we changed our car half way through our policy, online it stated £60, which I was happy to pay, until, without warning, they increased my policy to £160 after endless phone calls and talking to the shocking customer service team (who quite clearly put her phone down on the desk to not listen to me) I let it slide and again begrudgingly paid £160 a month. After a car accident I had in January, I contacted the office to tell them about it and kindly asked if I could be informed if the 3rd party was claiming (heard nothing) so I went for a new insurance policy which requested my no claims discount. When I phoned I asked for my no claims to which they said I didnt have, as they hadnt contacted me about the claim against my insurance and I was told it was my responsibility by the manager to call on a weekly if not daily basis to see what was going on, SHOCKING. And not only that they renewed my policy without consent, even after explaining my NEW insurance provider wanted my no claims, £200 was taken out of my account. Of course I phoned and they required some form of email sent to them to say I was already insured (once again more lies) currently on the phone to one of your colleagues who are now saying after 2 weeks of patiently waiting for the money to be put back into my account, who now says I need a certificate from my insurance company as proof. WHAT if I didnt want to drive again how could I prove that???? 0 respect for customers, in a constant battle with this insurance company. They need to be sued
