They cheat customer in giving them cheap insurance for the first month and thats it.second month you are told that u exceeded your miles therefore we need to charge u more.From 50 pound my insurance came up to 160 pound.so i cancelled my insurance with them and got a better and cheaper deal somewhere else.

My daughter has only been with this company a month and they are trying to tell her that the log book that has been emailed is not acceptable, I then scanned the log book and she emailed it again to then be told it's from the wrong email address I then emailed it from my email address which is registered with them as they said she had till midnight to send it. They still messed her about. My daughter has !!just!! Had a baby and this is putting so much stress and upset on her. I am absolutely fuming and disgusted with this company they have no idea what they are doing and are robbing innocent people of money!! 😠😠

Due to the stupidity of your company where I have an engineer at my car ready to fit a black box, and I am on the phone to Wise and have been for 25 mins after being put on hold by one of your advisors, I promptly cancelled the installation of the Telematic and the policy. For the life of me I can't understand why the simplest of tasks could not be performed.All I asked was that the start date of the policy got changed from the 6th of July to the 4th. I am then duly informed that I will need to start a new policy and I will lose my deposit and have to pay another deposit. I have never heard anything so sublime. It's the dumbest instruction ever. Bearing in mind I have a guy twiddling his fingers waiting to see if I am going to fill in another application on line so that he can fit the Black Box ..... probably an hour later.. That must have been the most exasperating experience I have ever came across on a pathetic automated system.... I see from the reviews you are getting hammered and quite rightly so with that performance.... Instead of starting a new policy with a new company I have renewed my existing policy with 1st Central. More expensive and add that to my phone bill that your company has cost me, due to incompetence I am bloody livid...Utter abject service from Wise. Total misery from start to finish

Total disaster. Asked to change the start date of my policy only to be put on hold for 25 mins only for the advisor not to get back to me. I then phoned again and asked for the policy date to be brought forward. I was advised an extra deposit would be required because of date change and that I would not get the first deposit back. Total disaster of an experience. Dreadful group. Should be

Wise Driving company are only interested in ripping young drivers off where black boxes are concerned. They are rude, unhelpful, charge for everything & you get nothing. They even charge for cost of the Black box if you leave and then charge more to actually remove it. An absolute disgrace to the Insurance profession.

Insurance company cancelled my sons insurance as they claim they cannot make out the V5 form, tried resubmitting on website but would not submit so Emailed them the copy instead. Now its going to take them 14 days to refund the money which leaves him unable to get new insurance, when eventually got through on phone they were unable to answer why insurance was cancelled. Not had any problems like this before with the many insurance companies I've dealt with.

ould never use this company again. phoned them to have a black box fitted to a car they refunded me £240 then cancled my policy without telling me now i have to pay over £700 to a debt recovery even tho they cancled the policy what a absolute joke of a company

AVOID THESE insured my Astra after being with insure the box every month I’m getting a cancellation notice for none payment when my payments go out direct debit each month never missed call them up they say oh it’s a system error but you’ll have to call us a week later to make sure we’ve sorted it instead of cancelling your policy but we have received your payments all we can do is apologise absolute scam artists this lot

very disappointed with service wanted to cancel the policy after 42 hours and end up paying £75 cancellation fee. Unbelievable, wasted 45 min to find me a better deal. Never going for this company again.

Absolute joke of a company. Cancelled my insurance due to the car being scrapped to which after the cancellation fee, to which I was told all I had to pay. They charged me an additional Ā£49.99 which was included in my direct debits and Ā£150 for the telematics box to which was never discussed. It’s fair to say I will never use you again!

I had insurance with this company a year or so back and they literally had my pants down. Went from Ā£89 a month to over Ā£300 a month. When I finally got though to some person at the call centre they explained I was accelerating too harshly causing my driving score to drop. This is an absolute lie. My car at the time had an issue with the turbo so it wasn’t actually working so there is no possible way I was accelerating too harshly. After many many phone calls I got nowhere as non of the staff have any idea what they are talking about and are really quite rude at times. WARNING TO EVEVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS THEY WANT DRY RAPING !

Very poor communication have not received any response to the complaint send and not got my refund even though I have cancelled the policy a week ago. Also sends the engineer to fit the black box and will cancel the insurance themselves before engineer arrives to cause unnecessary confusion. Will take the money without any consent and another time sends the letter stating you have to pay for overdue bill.

Wanted to change my Insurance to a new car and but can't coz they wantin 330quid a month so it's gone from around 70quid a month to that and tryin to talk to someone about it is impossible they don't understand wot your tryin to say when asking way has it gone up so much

Insurance is based on risk what this means is, the insurers will evaluate all the details you have provided and calculate the cost of the insurance based on the risk it is to insurer. When a change is made to the details you provide us and in this case the vehicle you have insured the risk will be different and a different price may be calculated based on this. Each detail on your policy will be looked at for many different risk factors with a vehicle change, they take all the details of the car, so for example the make, model and type, age of the car, price of the car, the security features and more. They then look at this against your details, so again for example your age, where you live, what you are using the car for, what your annual mileage is and so on. They use statistics to then work out a price based on the risk. some of the statistic types they may use are; how many people of your age have had accident in this particular type of car, have these cars been in a lot accident, have they been stolen or vandalized, also how many of that car, and in the area you live have had accident, incidents, been stolen or vandalised. There are many other factors/statistics that are looked at, the above are just a few of the examples. All the details on your policy will be looked at against the new car and statistics. This is why insurance price can change if you make an amendment to the details. We hope this explains this more for you. They cancelled my insurance with no notice just and email on the weekend when I tried to call they said their was no one to deal with my complaint until Monday so I had to pay for day insurance to be continued let's see what happens Monday.

Possibly the worst car insurance I have ever had in 6 years of driving I was told a month into my policy that my No Claims Bonus could not be accepted because some of them was more than a year old ..... wellllll yes that’s how you accumulate no claims they go by the year so if you had 10 years you can only use 1 I was then told my insurance would increase by price and nearly had heart failure when I seen the new price I then recieve a email on the 30th of May 2018 telling me my insurance has been cancelled on the 22nd of may due to my telematics box failing ? 8 days after the cancellation I recived a email telling me my policy was cancelled so have been driving around for 8 days illegally with my 5 year old daughter in the car ? When I then phoned to discuss this matter I was put on hold for 45 minutes and that the issue could not be resolved because they ā€œhadā€ made attempted to contact me to inform me of this failure There are no emails or text messages or phone calls to tell me this AVOID THIS INSURERER AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE THE SHITTEST THERE IS (Pardon my French)

With No Claim Bonus it needs to be earnt on a policy in your name in the UK within the last 2 years. If it is more than 2 years old, meaning the policy you last earnt the no claims on was cancelled or stopped at renewal more than 2 years ago, unfortunately it is unacceptable.. I have been charged Ā£106 for my braking and acceleration which I was not given a previous warning about changing otherwise I would be charged, as a new driver your braking and accelerating isn’t going to be perfect but I would of thought they would of made some allowance for that rather than just charging me for it. I could understand if my speed was way over the limit as that’s what I thought was the most crucial aspect of the black box but as for charging me about braking and acceleration being a bit off, with no warning I think is completely non acceptable. At least if I would of been told why I’m going to be charged rather than the fact that I am going to be charged I could of made changes before doing so.

Acceleration and braking scores are far too sensitive. Been driving like a saint and my scores are still poor. Not impressed. And to add - as a result of this, I am now paying £3000 per year which is a absolute robbery.
