They cancelled my son's policy because he could not take the 1st appointment to have the black box fitted,in the mean while he was waiting for them to contact him with a new date and never called him He was on the phone numerous of times to get this sorted but left on hold or not getting anywhere with it,I put my son's insurance money into my account for the payment to come out on the 10th may only to find out it wasn't taken at all on any dates after that.my son called the insurance company up to ask why and to only find out that they cancelled the policy on the 10th off may and took the monthly instalment too and had been driving a whole month with no insurance at all,They said that they had sent numerous emails and a letter by post which neither did he get, one he'll off a ass bag of a company

Lousiest insurance company. They increased my premium 150% because their black box contractor took a blurry photo of my proof of no claims. When I finally fought them to get my money back, they sent me an email to confirm amended insurance but with a £35 administration fee! 😡😡😡🙃Obviously I was not going to pay for this because in the first instance, their contractor took a blurry image. I finally got the £35 waivered and keeping my fingers and everything crossable ... crossed until I have my money back into my account. In the meantime, I am looking for a reputable law firm should wise drive fail me. Please, please, please...DO NOT SIGN UP WITH WISE DRIVE

Absolutely useless, tried 3 times to get my black box fitted and then policy got cancelled. Black box company doesn't answer at all and just keep getting redirected.

Everything is wrong about this company, absolutely everything. They have hidden fees throughout the whole process, really hard to cancel your insurance, also take payments after you stop your agreement, i.e you pay for a service which you do not use. Avoid at ANY COST. I am contacting a solicitor straight away.

This is the worst company I have ever got my insurance through. Firstly they increased my payment without informing me, then they told me I should have a return premuim but I never received it or got it taken off my payments. The customer service team are horrendous. This company does not care about customers just the money.

THESE PEOPLE ARE ASS... My insurance got cancel due to not getting the box install. . The company that was to install the box call me to rebook the engineer. I had received an email from wise driving to stay that if I don't get my box install before the 11th May they cancel the box was to be install on the 9th May and was rebook for the 17th.. I had told the lady about the email I had received and I was told that they had spoke to each other. However, it's not until I was on holiday on the 14th and was calling the installation company that my insurance is now cancel. .. I had to wait 14th days to get information on how much refund I be getting back.. After paying £276.00 I was told that I would received £54.70. In 14days .. So after being insure for only 14 days I will now have to wait 28days to get back £54.70.. I am not looking to speak to a solicitor about what I can do to get back at least half of my money .. This was their fault and I just follow policy and procedures

They are an absolute disgrace and a con. First they threatened to cancel the insurance because they said the proof of no claims could have been doctored which of course it hadn't. Today they said they are cancelling the insurance in 7 days because my daughter (the policyholder) is unemployed. All payments have been met on time yet they say it doesn't matter they do not insure unemployed people. They are thieves and liars.

I took out insurance policy with these cowboys and for the first 6 months my direct debits were reduced on a monthly basis due to my very good driving.....then it started to unravel...I changed my car to a smaller car and was charged £120 to have a new black box fitted, which took 15 minutes, and charged an admin fee of £39 pound.Since changing my car my driving miraculously deteriated so much that over the next 6 months I ended up paying nearly twice as much a month than when the policy started!!!! and you know what...COULDNT DO A THING ABOUT IT..!!!!!!So if you are thinking about insuring with this company...think once....twice and then think again

This company is absolutely disgusting my insurance was 137 a month my dad was on the insurance and back in 2013 his car was parked and someone hacked into it and he made a note with his insurer not a claim and wise driving made me pay an extra 300 because my dad made a note I then got it reduced but I now pay 170!!! Then to top it off I had a letter come through demanding 100 pound straight away or they'll send bailiffs this company literally has me by the balls what they do it wrong and I feel like a slave to my car I've spoke to other companies for advice and they've said that what there doing is wrong all the people at wise driving are rude and don't care they know that we're trapped so they don't even try to be polite avoid at allllll costs this company is a scam

Just pathetic and they use Close Brothers for the direct debit side. They are both shocking and all they want is to slap charges on anywhere they can do. Stay away the box is crap too and gets you pennies on your good driving score. Waste of time. If you cancel your policy you then have to pay for that box I hope they shut down and they all loose their jobs

Absolutely shocking, wanted to declare some modifications and the quote they gave me said they could go through with it. I then went through with it and payed the monthly deposit. The following day I printed off the certificate and it then said they don't do modification insurance if you're under 21. I then phoned them up and they tried to charge me 75£ cancellation fee. I refused to pay.

Ended up spending around 20 hours on the phone over the period of a month and a half. Each time you get an absolute muppet who can't read the original notes and you have to go through everything again, from the start which then just results in you being put on hold for around 40 minutes each time while they speak to their actual customer service department. You can't speak direclty to the customer service department and the call centre aren't allowed to make outbound calls except after 3.30pm and in exceptional circumstances. We were asked for the same documents and DVLA check codes time and again despite having sent them, then after being assured and assured and reassured that the policy was fine they cancelled it out of the blue without appeal. The reason was that they said they hadn't received the DVLA check codes. They made one phone call to let us know this about a month after this was known to them. They didn't email or leave a voicemail (despite having to read out like robots every time you call and tell you that email is the main way they communicate). The person who fitted the black box didn't take a clear picture of the V5C so we had to resend this. No apology. Nothing. Managed to get the £75 cancellation fee waived and are no in the process of going through their "compliants department" to see if we can get a refund on the box installation and for the countless hours they have wasted. Have absolutely nothing to do with this company. Ever. We are seriously considering going through the Financial ombudsman and starting a campaign against them on social media. Be warned. The people you speak to on the phone aren't customer service. Even when they speak to customer service they will then have to speak to the Underwriter. Every time. For anything. While there are one or two good call centre agents many are disinterested robots who have neither the aptitude or authority to sort out anything so you will go round and round in circles without apology or any solution and there will be the ever present threat of cancellation because no one there has any real idea what is going on. Do not ever, ever go with this company. Ever. Like others on here I would have given this zero stars if it was possible.
