“I would have given it a 0, literally the worse company ever basically stole money, the guy turned up for my appointment to fit a black box and he turned round and stated I can't do anything because you have a magnet on your car no word of a lie that seriously what he said then the company said we can't have covered due to the magnet they won't even let me remove a so called modification then went on to charge me cancellation fees plus charging for a missed appointment which the guy turned up and refused to do our car !!! Although we paid our insurance in full This company is nothing but a money grabbing scheme run but idiots that steal your money !!!!!!”

“This company is a TERRIBLE company I took insurance out with them less than 2 weeks ago and I never heard anything at all about the black box that they wanted to fit. I rang and rang and rang all at my expense and no reply. I have sent three emails and no reply. I have now decided to cancel my policy as I have a 'right to change my mind' so far I've been hanging on the phone for two hours solid. What a SCAM OF A COMPANY.. CAN YOU IMAGIINE TRYING TO GET THROUGH TO THEM IF YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT. An absolute joke I am now gonna go with a better known company if they ever answer the bloody phone. I am also reporting them to the financial ombudsman. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”

“They are an absolute scam of a company. The cancelled my policy after the said I didn't send them the correct documentation. I sent them my V5 which was in my father's name and they requested me to send it with my name on it within 7 days. I sent this off to DVLA and OF COURSE it takes time to come back. They cancelled my policy and only refunded me half of my money I had paid for a year's insurance, so now I'm down £400. I even sent them the new V5 on the day of cancellation but they said there is nothing they can do. Absolutely avoid. They're the cheapest on the market for a reason. THIS is how they make their money.”

“Worst insurance company ever, I was due to have my box fitted and the postcode was out of there way when they stated they would have to rebook even doh I told them the location. Next day I was sent an email for cancellation which was down to there issue they have said there is nothing they can do avoid this company waste of money”

“Terrible company. The first year was ok and although my driving was excellent every month I only once had a reduction. Renewal price was higher than year before even though I was an excellent driver. After I renewed they then decided I was no longer a good driver and increased my policy by a further £28 a month. I then went to another company and got cheaper insurance without a black box and fully comprehensive which wise driving was only third party! They are money grabbers! I could go on but not going to waste my time thinking about this crap company anymore. I hope they are forced to close as they are an absolute con.”

“The worst insurance that i ever had . I have started my policy in the 8 th of december ..on the 6th of feb ...i eant to cancel as i have chance my car and they charge me 130£ to change my car details ..so i have decided to cancel ..on the 6th of feb ...that are now telling me that i won't receive my deposit back ..(part of it) and plus ..on the 8th of febr they have taken another payment ...after i have already cancel my policy ..and the tax me 75 £ coz i cancel the policy ..so after all this ..they want me to pay now 20£ ...after i didn t get my deposit back and plus de 90£ the payment in febr ...that i have made but i have not used the insurance . Rubbishhh”

“wiseDriving take for 1 month and 9 days 542 paund. first i paid (01.12.2016): £224.98 ( 95£ montly + deposit 130£ ) after 1 month and 9 days (09.01.2017) they cancel my policy and 20.01.1017 from my bank account was pulled amount of 318 pounds .”

“AVOID!!! I rang to cancel in November and they completely ignored it and then fined me. I have been harassed by them with bailiffs. They are expensive and they will charge you loads of money to have the black box removed. AVOID. They are terrible.”

“Bought insurance with wise drive as the were the cheapest on all comparison sites. All was well, until I paid for the insurance. Once my card had gone through, the website crashed, however my money had been taken With no conformation on the website or via email, I thought I'd ring up the company, after on hold for 20 minutes they finally came to the phone and said that they have my money however no details about the car. They offered me a refund, however said it would take between 3-5 days. I needed insurance that day and therefore had to borrow the money off of my parent. Joke of a company do not use!!!!! Use Collin wood, great company, couldn't help more!”

“Paid £175 deposit then they said the card details were incorrect, despite taking the money out for the first month. They sent an email, one email, that went through to my junk folder so I didn't see it. No letters no calls. Because a direct debit wasn't set up despite not being due for a further 3 weeks?! But they are taking £100 of the deposit for doing absolutely nothing. Scammers just avoid.”

“So I was a little skeptical about choosing Wise Drive after reading some of these reviews. However, this is my 5th month of being with this insurance company and I can honestly say it's been great. So my insurance started off at £2,000, bearing in mind I'm 21 and this is my first car. The box was fitted. (The only downside is they tried to cancel my policy even though they agreed to get in contact, just make sure that you remember to contact them to fit it.) Based on my driving score my insurance kept going down to £890. The wise drive dashboard online lets you track your progress, which I regularly check. If you are a bad driver then, of course, your score will decrease. Therefore, being wary of your driving will increase the score. If you know you will be mindful of your driving then this is the company for you!”

“Avoid! I feel for anyone who didnt read the reviews as I foolishly didnt either. My original premium was £1500, but after a crash which wasnt my fault and where the third party exepted liablility my premium went up another £2300. Oh no thats not the end of it, the cheeky monkeys add another 16% interest of the 2 premiums on top for an admin fee. Scum, When i asked for a breakdown of how they produced the £2300 via email they didnt reply and after numorous phone calls I lost my temper as the people in there office were exposed as they are teenagers who dont know what on earth they were talking about. Avoid its a SCAM!”

“Hi, Stay away please don't just see a cheap insurance from comparison sites. I insured my car using Comparison website quote. Cancelled my policy on 3rd of December within 14 days because of a car change. They Charged me £75 for the cancellation and then £30 on top for the insurance policy usage. After many calls received my refund back after 1 month. Every time i call they had different stories. The refund was supposed to issue within 14 working days but they took 1 month. And then deducted the next months installment from my bank as well. Very Poor service. Please don't use.”

“my son paid nearly £400 deposit then 1 day later got email saying they were cancelling the policy as it had to be paid in full, within 2 days. so 2 days later he paid another £1400. when they came to fit his black box. they did not knock on the door nor call him. Then 2 weeks later he received a letter saying he is not insured from the 29th December he received that letter on the 31st of December, dated the 29th December, but did not receive an e mail so was literally driving with no insurance for 2 days without even knowing. Now they are charging him nearly £400 for 3 weeks driving and delaying paying back the £1400. After all of the above, 'wise driving' had the audacity to issue my son a 'cancellation' fee, So be warned and DO NOT get your car insurance from WISE DRIVING because they are, as i have already read here, ripping off wankers and are preying on young people for their own gain. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE”
