Awful Insurance company, they play you for every penny you have. Avoid at all costs. They are trying to charge me a £400 pound cancellation fee after a year of being stuck with them because they renewed without sending me a letter. I don't know what I am going to do - they take advantage of new drivers. Awful, awful company.

My husband took out a policy with Wisedriving the week he passed his test a couple of months ago and had a black box fitted. We were paying £126 a month but got an email this morning to say that our premium was going up to £224 as of November 19th with absolutely no details as to why. My husband rang to find out and was told that they do 30, 60 & 90 day reviews and at the 60 day review his driving score had dropped below 50% but they couldn't actually tell him what it was and promised to send him the details for the dashboard (which we haven't had since the policy started) This is total bullshit because when hubster rang at 30 days to get his score he got 86% - so unless he has started driving like a maniac they are scamming money out of us. We will be cancelling our policy no matter what the cancellation fee is as it wont outweigh the 30% increase in premium! Absolutely disgusting and I am shocked that companies are allowed to operate like this. DO NOT GET YOUR INSURANCE FROM HERE!

Absolutely delighted with this company! Nearing the end of my first years policy & have never had a complaint to make. I'm 28 and had a 1.8 3 series BMW insured with them at the low rate of £75 a month. My driving scores not perfect ( always around 60%) and my premium has never gone up, had issues of fraud with my bank account and missed two payments, both times I rang up about my missed payments I was dealt with by 2 seprate, helpful & sympathetic customer service agents. Other times ie had to ring up staff have been very knowledgable. My bmw broke down last week & I had to transfer my insurance over, helped again by a very friendly agent called kami, I didn't have access to the internet so had to ring up to change my details an should have been charged a £35 admin fee which I was more than prepared to pay but had it waved :) 5 star company all atoud

Absolutely appalling company nobody knows what they are doing. I have been on the telephone all week as I haven't had an accident and I am leaving the company after a year and want my no claims. They have put a 0 fault claim on my no claims and won't take it off. This is causing my new insurance company to put my new insurance up I am so angry. Please do not go with wise driving. I am going all the way with this and will fight for my rights absolutely shocking treatment they think we are young and stupid and they keep ripping us off.

Took an insurance policy out last September with the installation of a black box as my wife was a first time driver. Each month she received feed back in her driving which was not only good but under the category as "excellent" therefore continued throughout the year in the hope her insurance will reduce the following year. The insurance renewal came through the post I nearly fainted it had more than doubled from £1100 to a staggering £2600 I immediately was on the phone to a useless clueless member of staff who advised me the black box doesn't guarantee a reduction in insurance as they initially promised. I was really angry not only did they lie but doubled my insurance. I immediately cancelled my policy took my business to lloyds at not only a cheaper price but no need for a black box, but at the cost of £75.00 cancellation fee and £90.00 to remove the black box. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY use a well known company it pays off.

I had a car accident where that was not my fault. That happened on M25 with over 60 mph speed. There were many smoke inside the car, that made me was not able to see outside. I cannot explain the damage of the back of my vehicle. Also, I did not exchange details with the third party(the person who hit me) as we went to hospital by an ambulance. I and my friend almost got killed at that monent. However, this car insurer asked me aggrassively why I did not exchange the details and how the damage happened. I already expained the reasons. Then, Wisedriving said we reject your claim and you needed to do by yourself by calling the third party company. What a terrible service does Wisedriving offer. Please do not use this insurer, because Wisedriving is only a middle man (broker).

Wise driving are the worst company I have ever had to deal with . They consistently take extra payments from me , cancel my policy , never call me back and tell me something different each time I call to complain / find out why my policy has been " accidentally " cancelled AGAIN. If I had more time to explain everything that has gone wrong then I would but I have already wasted a substantial amount of time on these jokers. DO NOT USE THEM

I had an accident where liability was disputed. I took insurance with wise driving. My premium was £1600 for a Citroën c3 1.4hdi. £1800 once there Apr was put on for monthly payment. Ideclared on my premium that I had an accident liability was disputed and it had affected my NCB. So accident is now sorted and I was found not at fault all cost recovered from other sides insurance . So I phone wise driving to tell them, and send them proof of my NCB. This took 6 hours to sort after being put on hold and hold again and this document is no good we need this, then that document is no good. Ask to speak to a manager and put on hold 3 times and disconnected all 3 times. Then when do get through on 7th attempt told that 4 years NCB had made no difference to my £1600 pound policy. So I take insurance on my car with 0 years NCB and pay 1600 yet I proof my NCB 4 years and my policy is the same price Everyone who has insurance knows the more NCB cheaper the insurance. When I took this quote out I explained that liability unsettled and asked what would happen when I was proofed not liable they assured me I would get back the extra money they had charged me for having no NCB once I proofed them. NOT NOW THEY WON'T. REALLY SAVE YOUR MONEY GO ELSEWHERE. Don't use there customer service is appalling and what they have done to me is appalling. I am having to get my solicitor to deal with this and go through there 8 week complaints procedure then if I get no where financial ombudsman to report them and then court. Do not use

Wise driving have very poor customer service. They are very deceptive and hide important information from you, it takes several calls in a row to get any information out of them. None of their departments are in correspondence with each other resulting in multiple letters making the situation very messy. Be careful of 'technical faults' as this is most likely someone cocking up, as this happened to me, but they tried to tell me 'oh no we do not have technical issues very often' when various technical issues happened to me over the period I was with them. If you decide to leave them make sure that they have definitely cancelled you, as I tried to leave and it took them 4 weeks to finally cancel me off during which point I had received an email from premium credit saying I need to pay the amount up front. All in all very disorganised, very unhelpful, very poor customer service. Do not trust this company they are incredibly deceptive, and will do everything they can to keep vital information from you.

After reading the reviews on a number of websites I was unsure about choosing Wise drive as the majority of them were bad, however they were significantly cheaper than all other insurers so I decided to go with them. If you clearly read and follow what they say in there guidance then you wont have a problem with them, if you have any problems they are available on the phone so keep them updated. I had an issue with my documents, a phone call sorted it.

Just want to warn people about this car insurance company they lure young drivers in and make loads of money out of them because they seem to be the cheapest to go with! I started driving in October last year soon after I passed my test, but stupidly didn't look into the insurance company I chose to go with, I chose wise-driving because it was the cheapest I could find at the time, I paid over £1000 for the whole year but I should of just paid that little bit more because now I've ended up paying them stupid amounts and they don't tell you about all their hidden fees. One of the down falls of this company is that you will have to have a black box installed and you have to pay for that on top and if you eventually would like it removed they will charge you again. They threatened multiple times to cancel my insurance and that they would not give me my £1000 back that I paid for the year if they did cancel it. They told me that they haven't been able to contact me to arrange the black box to be fitted even though I called time and time again trying to arrange it and was just passed from person to person, I also sent countless emails. They monitor your driving by using a driving dash board which you can access online, if you can even access it because their website is terrible. If your driving score goes down slightly they will then charge you again sometimes without even telling you, twice my policy went up because my score went down by 5% and I had to pay another £288 for this all together. These people are almost impossible to contact if you need to change something to do with your policy such as the car you drive or even your surname they charge you £35 to do this over the phone, if you try to do it online it's almost impossible to access half the time because their website is down. They are now trying to charge me another £120 which I am refusing to pay for cancellation fees even though my insurance policy runs out next week and I've told them I'm not renewing as I've sold my car so they are also threatening debt collectors. This is the worst company to go with and I just want to warn others especially young people who want to start driving as soon as possible, just because it seems cheap doesn't mean it's going to be, I've looked into the company now and they have been voted one of the worst insurance company's to go with! There are countless complaints about them all over the Internet.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! I noticed that my monthly payments hadn't come out of my account for the last couple of months so I contacted them to see what was wrong. They explained that my policy was still active and that there was a system error, which is why the payments hadn't been taken. They then said that I have to pay the money I now owe in 7 days or they'll cancel my policy!! And not only will they cancel my policy, the amount I owe will be put through to a debt collection agency, so I'd have to pay it anyway! No effort has been made to make arrangements for me to pay this money back in instalments! I've just been given 7 days for THEIR mistake! Ridiculous!

Rubbish rubbish rubbish!!! Joined them July 2016 and was driving fine had 100% then over the past month been driving a little bit bad and went down to 33%?! Now they emailed saying they will cancel on 10th September, with a £120 fee PLUS £2088.32 for that one month of "bad" driving". They said it paid the amount, if it reaches 80% will get the £2088.32 back. Ridiculous !!! I understand it's my fault but really £2000????!!!! Stupid, expensive and a tota complete waste. A joke
