I ordered a replacement set of brushes for my HYYW70 patio brush cleaner on 22nd April, I have been chasing these parts since February, however when I contacted the parts department last Wednesday I was assured they had the parts and they would be delivered by Friday. They arrived Saturday, not an issue with the delivery being a day late. The Issue is that the box only contained 7 x brushes, and a full set of brushes is 9 x brushes, so I am still 2 x brushes short. Still unable to use my unit! What's going on? don't you know your own products? Surely you should know how many spare brushes make a set.

DONT BUY ANYTHING FRIM THIS COMPANY! I have never dealt with such an unhelpful company. Purchased a Hyundai lawnmower which would not start, we were asked to box it up and send it back to them to check, we were informed that there is nothing wrong with it and asked to pay £122 carriage and their labour tine. We refused to pay, eventually they returned the mower back to us free of charge, but it still wouldn’t start. My husband stripped the mower back and called the technical team, Sean was helpful but Paul not so as he didn’t even send us an email explaining what to test! After listening to Shaun’s advice saying the float in the carburettor May be sticking my husband managed to solve the problem. This problem should have been rectified when it was returned but instead they never even checked the machine. It’s a good job my husband is quiet handy, I would never have been able to fix the problem on my own and Gen power certainly wasn’t interested. Very poor show on a lawn mower costing us nearly £500. Please beware if you buy from them your on your own!

Bought a 595 pound lawnmower expecting it to be a good buy how wrong i was self propelled motor packed up after six month s was told due to covid they could not honour ther 3 year warranty sent me a new part to fix myself the mower is the worst i have ever bought onstant problem after priblem electric start works when it want the engine is always hard to restart after using now the pull start doesnt recoil never never will i buy one of theae shite mowers again beware

We had a lawnmower off genpower it's a hyundai paid over £500 and we have had problem with it starting for some tome we contacted genpower and was Informed we needed to drain the oil and petrol dismantle and put in a box as we did now we have been informed by genpower they can't find a fault with the lawnmower and we have been asked to pay £122 as our 3 year warranty doesn't cover this all I can say is if you have any problems with your equipment your guaranteed won't mean a thing

WARNING THIS COMPANY TRADING AS HYUNDAIPOWEREQUIPMENT/GENPOWER LTD WILL TAKE YOUR PAYMENT BUT DONT SEND OUT YOUR PRODUCTS AND WHEN YOU CALL TO ASK WHY ITS NOT BEING SENT THEY JUST TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR TO GET YOU OFF THE CALL, (TIP, when calling select option 1 sales and ask to be transferred to customer care, otherwise its just a answering machine service). SHAME AS THIS REALLY LOOKS BAD FOR HYUNDAI THEMSELVES. PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK. I have now had to file a claim in small claims court to recover.

Very poor aftersales. They're very polite, but good luck in getting things sorted after the initial 30 days (The absolute bare minimum required by law). I've pretty much written off my 9 month old £1100 purchase as I've had to buy a replacement due to them not having parts and not knowing if or when they will arrive. Don't be an idiot like me!

Bought a compressor from these guys in May 2021. Unpacked and started using In June. November it started tripping out at the safety switch. I contacted the supplier who didn’t want to know. After I received a massive electric shock from the unit I unplugged and contacted them again. They told me they would fix it, I asked for a refund and they refused. They took it to their workshop and informed me the electrical motor was bad!!!!!! Then said it’s ready to ship back to me. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE…..

Where to start with these clowns! I thought if I bought from a Hyundai dealer I'd get great service, wow, how wrong I was!! I bought a suitcase generator from them, It turned up damaged, the engine cover screw was totally chewed. I requested a new screw, they had none, a main dealer without a stock of basic parts, unbelievable. They told me to wait. After a week of no update I requested a return as I suspected the item couldn't possibly be new with a chewed up engine cover screw. Suddenly they have stock of the screw and send it out. I get the packet and open it, WRONG SCREW! it's so easy to send the one engine cover screw but they sent me 3 random tiny screws. I again request my return which they arrange. Collection booked for 5th of jan 2022, with TNT, I wait in ALL DAY having taken a day off work, no one comes. I contact genpower and they tell me the courier came, absolute LIES from an incompetent company!! They then tell me they arranged a pick up for today, the 6th, they tell me this whilst I'm at work at 530pm so no chance to be there to hand over the item. In my life i honestly never dealt with such incompetence and poor service. If i could give zero stars I would. Do yourself a favour, buy from someone else!!

Like your other reviewers I suggest you don't go anywhere near Genpower Hyundai. Our diesel pump blew up within seven days of first use. It took months for Hyundai to collect it. Three more months to repair it. Returned to us full of black oil, with metal scarf in the oil and filter and sump clearly visible. Clearly not useable. Now Hyundai are quoting a further month to repair it! They are simply refusing to replace it with a new pump. Their website says a new pump can be despatched in a couple of days so they can do it if they want to.

I would seriously think about using this company before purchasing anything from them. I bought a jet washing machine circa £1000.00. I year ago. The on off switch failed which had rendered the machine inoperable . So under warranty I tried to get a preplacement part, this started end of July, guess what still no part supplied. This is not the first time I have been unfortunate enough to try deal with this major brand, or is it the aftersales part of the organisation. Previously I have requested parts to service my machine, the process was painful and lengthy and not all parts were available. I also tried to order replacement components like lances and hose including connections. Parts were missing from the order and it took weeks and weeks to get the issue resolved. It took me over a week in calls to get to speak to someone about my warranty issue. Eventually, I spoke with a guy called Sean. He asked me to send a picture of the part, serial number and proof of purchase which I did. After weeks of chasing, I was told the part was being despatched although trying to find a simple on off switch had proved rather difficult. Thank god I dont ever need anything doing mechanically. So despite sending 3 picture of the part, wrong switch was sent. I flagged this up and Im still waiting weeks after. You cannot get answers on why the wrong part was sent. You struggle to get any one to answer a phone. I demanded to be sent the MD email and address and contact number, all to be ignored or request deflected. This company seems in so much disarray. They struggle to communicate, when they do they provide inaccurate information and contradictory. Trying to get anyone to take ownership is poor to say the least. ALL THIS FROM A MAJOR BRAND. MY advice is consider what you may need from these guys before purchasing and the affect it may have on you and your business. I would serious recommend anyone to think very carefully before purchasing anything from Genpower full stop After warranty anything I need will be sourced elsewhere!!!!

We purchased a 5 in 1 tool which broke after a couple of uses. We contacted them and they sent us a spare part which we had to fit ourselves but this did not resolve the issue. We have had to contact numerous times before they agreed we could return the item. They advised the product would be picked on two occasions and I tool annual leave both days for nobody to turned up. I would not recommend this company the customer service is appalling They are selling products not fit for purpose and disregard any guarantees on items. Steer clear!

I first got in touch with genpower 8th July because my mower was shredding drive belts I sent photos of the drive mechanism and was told I needed a new gearbox pulley ,so I agreed to purchase one 5 weeks later I got a response they said I would have to buy a complete gearbox as it's not possible to buy just the pulley wheel I paid £86.66 +vat and also a new drive belt total cost £106.00 after many phone calls with no answer and left messages I eventually spoke to a guy who again apologized and said he would sort it out Saturday 4 September a gearbox arrived with no pulley wheel also I don't believe it's new I think reconditioned no drive belt .so 2 months on and still have a expensive mower that I can't use .so beware don't buy or deal with this company as they have the monopoly for parts it's impossible to buy any spare parts for Hyundai mowers anywhere else.shocking company I am going to get in touch with BBC rogue traders and see how they like that.

Worst experience ever!!! This company is not even worth one star! 3 years ago we purchased a top of the range petrol mower. It has been nothing but problems from start to finish……we email, ring, beg someone to help us but to no avail. Getting parts is nothing short of a nightmare. We did eventually secure a blade after numerous calls now to find that we need an adapter/boss …….its driving us crazy……we have tried every which way possible but with GEN POWER having the total monopoly on spare supplies ….there is no hope. We are now told this model is obsolete…….its incredulous! If you are considering buying any garden appliance from HYUNDAI/GEN POWER my advice to you (now being over £500 out of pocket) …please don’t even think about it!!! If anybody bothers to read this from GEN POWER …can we have our money back??????

Very disappointed with the purchase. I bought a lawn mower and after a couple of use, machine does not starts neither the cord was working. After contacting Genpower technical support explaining the situation, they ask me to send the machine back to the work shop. After a long wait for almost two months, they got back to me confirming that work shop found no fault and in order to get the machine back, they sent me invoice to pay for the delivery. In fact they were blaming me that the machine had no fault but why somebody report for a fault if machine works perfectly fine. What I have realised that they were only blaming me just for the sake of recovering delivery cost. Very bad customer service and end up paying for nothing. Please do not buy from them as I am giving you my honest review, otherwise good luck with the purchase

My lawnmower bought in October 2019 still under guarantee not working any more . Last week been told it would be collected ... Last week on the Friday no one collected . After emails and phone call was advised would be picked up today and again has not been picked up again ..I was told it would be picked up tomorrow now but after reading the rest of the reviews it does not look like it’s going to be collected any time soon . I too may have to look at other ways of sorting this .

Very poor service. Ordered a compressor and it was delivered broken. Genpower were far more interested in claiming from the courier than providing a replacement. They collected the broken compressor 6 days after first delivery. A replacement was received 6 days after this. This was broken too. 9 days after this the last of the replacement parts arrived. Genpower were extremely apathetic all the way through. Had to chase/complain 11 times. Eventually had a working item 24 days after order. Not good enough.

Genpower proved to be totally unsatisfactory. On the strength of our experience, I'd advise you to either avoid them completely or only buy anything supplied by them with your credit card. We had to resort to a Credit Act 'Section 75' claim for the £1500+, that we'd spent on a Hyundai generator. It developed a fault after less than 20 hours use. We put up with five months of delays and procrastination from Genpower, during which they asked us to carry out various repairs while they supplied random parts, sometimes entirely wrong for the machine and sometimes second hand. Our generator remained unfunctioning, unrepaired, uncollected, unreplaced and unrefunded until we contacted the Credit Card company who refunded us, in full, within a few hours of our phonecall.

After emails I couldn't respond to, I eventually got through via a 2 hour wait on the phone. Ordered a part for my chainsaw. It arrived 4 days late and they had the cheek to send an after market non genuine part. Not happy at all.

Appalling company I have been dealing with a company called genpower disgusted at the way they’ve handled my case I purchased a jetwash used about 6 times pistons had gone so returned to them they have had it 2 months with limited contact of them every time I ring they say they will ring back and don’t it’s costing me money as I have to hire one while they have it I’ll probably get more luck of this review of a reply appalling way to run a buisness definitely be shopping else were in future if and when I get my jetwash back
