Took a long time to send the waterproof jacket that leaked and a longer time to deal with my queries. Unfortunately I’ve now seen they are in liquidation so no hope of a solution

ordered a helmet on the 10th June.....still waiting. had a couple of emails from them apologising for delay...was told at the end of june it would be out for delivery that week... its now nearly the end of July... multiple emails unanswered....your website not taking orders Leatherhead shop "temporarily closed' and a few people on Facebook seem to be having the same issue!!!!! almost £300 out of pocket and really worried because i now have find another helmet with ZERO ££s!!!

Ordered items which were too small so returned them to the store via royal mail tracked , tracking said delivered on saturday rang the shop to be told they hadnt recieved them ,hmmm?? Few days later looks like store has closed down and i'm now out of pocket , so thank you very much.

Ordered boots weeks ago and I've heard nothing tried to ring no answer sent emails no reply really bad service been on line today and they have nothing looks like company is closed down so no chance of a refund

Extremely poor service , had to wait weeks for my gloves , very difficult to get anyone to reply to emails , once the gloves finally arrived they are to big anyway , no reply to my email explaining this , will never buy from this company again

Worts company i order somenthing. Sell stuff they dont have in stock. Try to cancel order and refund more than a week and no response at all. No customer service Not a reliable company

Poor Customer Service Not sure what is happening with customer service after reading the all the positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience of service is poor. I purchased motorcycle trousers with a lead time of 5 working days + 3 working days dispatch. After not receiving the trousers, or any communication, I chased up my order several times via email and telephone. I eventually received them 24 days after ordering. Unfortunately I had to return the trousers, the returns process online was straightforward downloading postage label and returning to post office. A week after returning my order I received a email stating my return had been received and to allow 14 days for refund. Its now over a month since I returned the trousers and still no refund!

Wouldn’t touch this 2 bob company I brought a disc lock which evri left on my doorstep and evri had admitted liability for lost parcel but this mob telling me I should of bin home to sign for my parcel oh really so it’s my fault wouldn’t touch you lot your customer service is terrible

8th August - web order made and confirmation email received 11th August - order delivered, but incomplete, email with photo of contents sent to Get Geared 12th August - Get Geared respond but only with apologies : “Thank you for your email. I am sorry to hear that there is an issue with this delivery. I have contacted the warehouse and will investigate what has happened here. As soon as this has been resolved I will let you know the outcome. Kind regards,Suzy” 15th August - I send a chase up emails to see if any progress has been made. No response received in 24 hours. 16th August - It’s now been 5 days since my complaint. No resolution, no further feedback, and no refund for the missing item has been offered. My packing slip states “Negative reviews can severely damage a small business & should only be left, if a company refuses to correct a problem.” Well, guess what, here is your review. I have been happy in the past with face-to-face service at their shop while I lived in Surrey. However the customer service for their web orders seems to have fallen down a deep hole.

Very bad customer service. After ordering a 24 hour postal service to deliver my parcel they didn’t post for nearly 3 days . I have trained to contact them repeatedly with out success. I ordered on the Tuesday and it’s now sat and no sign of my new stuff. Having to put my weekend trip on hold. So if you’re in a rush plz don’t count on getting you stuff in time.

Your parcel was delayed by Royal Mail despite us sending it on the 24 hour service. Unfortunately delays with couriers are out of our control. Really poor experience. Leather jacket I ordered was delivered in a totally unsuitable box that was delivered soaking wet by DPD (I recognise this was likely to be the fault of DPD). However I then discovered The jacket was stuffed into the box in a ball due to the small size and shape of the box. The jacket was far too small even though I had followed the sizing guidelines so it needed to be returned so I contacted GetGeared. Given the poor packaging I was shocked to be told I ‘should’ get a refund if I ensure the jacket is returned in as new condition! GetGeared obviously didn’t care how it was sent to me. Due to the condition and inappropriate size of the original box I sourced a better box and returned the jacket. I then waited and was notified my refund was processed exactly 14 days after GetGeared had acknowledged receipt of the return (GetGeared t&c’ state up to 14 days). I’ve now learned ‘Processed’ means they’ve agreed to the refund but I now need to wait for the money to reach my bank account! It should be noted I needed to contact GetGeared to clarify information sent to me about my PARTIAL refund (the payment I made for DPD delivery was not being refunded) and I was given lots of excuses about the original packaging, the time taken to ‘process’ the partial refund and the frustrating communication telling to ensure the jacket was returned in As New condition. This has been a Really poor experience and GetGeared think I’m an idiot if they think I believe the many excuses that they spout so easily. Never again!

I brought the Alpinestars AST-1 V2 Trousers the full cost of these are £148 I got £11 off. I brought them in January. Haven’t had a chance to try them in proper rain. Well I did today and my under trousers got soaked. These are not at all waterproof. I think they are a complete rip off, I’m so disappointed!

I saw from the reviews that these helmets came out on the small size so I ordered a size larger than I needed and I couldn’t even get it on my head supposed to be a large size but it must have been xs what a waist of time

Unfortunately purchasing on Amazon does not allow you to benefit from the knowledge & expertise of the retailer as the descriptions are limited on Amazon and not controlled by retailers. Shark sizes are normally true to size so there may be an issue with the size guide that you have used supplied by Amazon. I never received it. The postal address was wrong and when I tried to change the address with the courier it got ignored and posted to the wrong address out side and got stolen. I tried to get it fixed and found through the courier you chose and have been ignored. Since got from else where that uses royal mail.
