Please ensure that you are logged into your account. You will then find the 'Free Excess Protection Cover' tab at the top of your account page or behind the silhouette of a person, which will take you to the activation page. Here you will need to select the policy that you have purchased or choose to enter the details manually which will take you to the activation form. Having answered all the questions, when you go to the selected site the price is NOT what has been quoted for your wants, and items you have said you want are all "extras" making a difference of up to £100 to the quote ! Gocompare.com have "NOT" made me happy. Unlike the Government please be honest and include in the initial quote all the questions.

However, you will have to progress through the quote pages again. Whilst the product overall is good, the link to other companies websites seems complicated. When trying to purchase over the weekend i got several messages that i could not proceed because of an error. I then had to come out and start the process over again.

After getting putting in details for a quote, there is no option to amend and save the quote. I would be nice to have the facility until we are ready to buy the insurance

Your compation in the marketop should cheapest than others example different between you and others was £30. Others was £330 Yours was £360 Kind regards

I use this site for myself ,my mum and my brother but I struggle to keep the accounts separate because guni have to use my email address for all and it doesn't seem to let me so everytime I use it I have to keep changing details..if theres an easier way let me know thanks...drives me mad

Just be sure that you are logged into the correct profile when obtaining a quote. To do this please log in to the account and select my account details, you can then update any personal details to whoever you like. By giving me a quote which can be paid by my husband as I do not have an account. My husband has paid for my cover for the last 16 years with no trouble from any other company but not LV they will not accept payment from him

I have already purchased a motor vehicle policy through Go compare with Hastings Direct. This fact seems to have by - passed the Go compare team. Although i am unsure why, as i have used this company in the past without problems.I have initiated a three star rating believing it was an oversight.

The purchasing software experience was so so bad I started with a quote of 150 which itried to purchase the software then looped back to a new quote 157 this happened a further 2 times when I finally managed to pay 158+ nice trick gocompare ! or M&S
