i have always used go compare, admiral was going to do me a deal , only to find out that when i was on the phone to them they started to put the price up , next while still on the phone they wanted to know when the car insurance was due , that was 2 months time , then they delayed renewing my house insurance , I found it to be inadequate , seems to me they are just trying to be gready and always want more ,

I got the cheapest quotes .... online.. but as soon as I told them I had an accident .. not my fault the other party excepted liability.. paid out .... but all the companies upped my quote my a large amount even though I was not to blame ....

I eventually got a quote from Hastings Premier that I liked, I had been quoted £331.45 for the ordinary Hastings policy but I chose the premier policy at £371 .85. However, your offer of free £250 excess keeps telling me I have paid only£331.45 even though I have the premium policy and paid £371.85

The site has bold statements regarding best prices - in reality tho - they are Brokers who have a £45 fee on "any" insurance company listed , plus a 17.6% interest rate for multiple payments. As a Comparison site - Great - for "savings" - not so great. Still best to check the actual company.

While accessing comparative costs was easy and moving to the website of choice, having accepted the offer and paid for the insurance I have not been advised of the £250 free excess cover. Very poor.

Why don't you make it easier for the customer to choose what he want. Example; adding protection & choosing more options in breakdown service as able to have breakdown vehicle to be towed to my choice of garage location!!

Basically, your motor insurance is a good product. Your website let you down. I specifically asked to receive my documents by post, not email. This also happened last year. I had to phone the next day to correct this. Not good. Why is this box only for ‘happy’ reviews?
