Gocompare are not an insurance company. Therefore they guide you to various sights which is very good. However when you get to the Insurance company everything is an add on, even when some say it's inclusive. Be very careful of breakdown cover as various insurance companies charge different prices. My advice is to read everything with your eyes open. Yes I would go to Gocompare and look for in depth at all the options.

I made a choice of quote and went through with everything to buy insurances on my iPad, very happily, until the very last stage when I tried to pay for the up-front deposit with my credit card. The formatting of the form was all wrong and it would not accept my card number, expiry date, etc, so I had to abandon it completely. I tried three or 4 times with success. Very annoyed. I love the site and usually really helpful but I was looking for car insurance and went to pay for it and the payment could not go through as the company are not taking on new insurers. Frustrating.

Would liked to ask other. Questions ie, can my wife drive car also ? Would it be better to insure our two cars on one policy when you fill in standard forms you can’t Always get answers you want

Also multi car cover is a separate product to sole car insurance which is what you were running a quote for. It made me happy and then less so as the price increased up to renewal. Maybe Gocompare should warn you about this as I paid £15 more after just one day

I took out a car insurance policy with SAGA though your GoCompare.com. Since purchasing SAGA's three year policy (£328.11) I have received two emails from you for me to Activate my free excess! Both were listed with the incorrect price I paid. I cannot sign in to activate my free excess as when I do, it just takes all the way through to purchase ANOTHER POLICY! Not very good to follow incorrect emails from a well known comparison site!!

The additional 2 years will not be covered under your excess protection cover as this has been taken directly with the insurer not GoCompare.com. Here you will need to select the policy that you have purchased or choose to enter the details manually. Easy to get quotes easily enough. The quotes should be guaranteed for a minimum period. It is very difficult if you return even after a short period & the quote has changed. Maybe guarantee 48 or 72 hours

My Insurance got cancelled after i paid in full and got £20 for cancellation charge. No reason given first then i had ring up and the out come was to much different information was picked up by online under writer's team as i explained them that my father was sorting my car insurance also my sister Sidra car insurance and plus my uncle's so as he was using his email account for everyone so that's why the cancelled my insurance. I tried to explain them what happened but the only said we have to cancel your insurance and now with Gocompare im still getting same insurance quotes with same company wich im not sure what to do as the probably do same as before by cancelling my insurance as i don't have much time left for my renewal date.
