I have been trying to source my car insurance. On three separate occasions when I have gone from Go website to complete details with individual company the price increased. Hence, I haven't took out the policy.

Unfortunately although I found a decent quote from Saga on Gocompare.com - I couldn't finish the deal as it wouldn't let me complete online so as I had to call them which meant couldn't get the £250 free excess.

I was happy with the quotes, but the prices had gone up when I checked them the next day. I tried to retrieve a quote using a link emailed to me that took me directly to the insurer's website and they were unable to retrieve the quote, so I didn't buy the insurance using GoCompare because of these issues.

Great prices, but the website wouldn't take my payment, which was frustrating. I had to phone the provider, ask them to honour the quotation and take my money direct. I hope the £250 free excess is honoured!

The go compare part was OK it was when you got to the providers was a bit disjointed it might just be because of covid 19

Relatively good product. Lots of questions but a good list of potential insurers. Has saved me a fair chunk of cash. Read the small print though.

I looked at GoCompare as I thought the £250 free excess cover would mean I could up the amount of excess I was prepared to pay and that would bring my premium down. However, I use several comparison sites before purchasing cover and found that the policy I chose was £20 more expensive on GoCompare than on another site. As I'm really hoping not to need any excess cover and I can afford the excess should I need to, I went with the other site for my cover and chose their reward instead.

Dear Sir or Mandan, I purchase car insurance start from 12/07/2020 for £791.65p Darwin insurance company I added breakdown cover, but insurance company advise me that breakdown cover not included the reason system is wrong they dropping off from gocompare.com website, please can you review my application thanks for your help. I asked for a renewal of my house insurance. You have given me different company quotes. I selected one of them (Grove & dean). Their page states that they will call shortly and then I can pay and start the insurance. Nobody called. We called them, nobody picks up the call. I am still waiting. At the moment, house is not insured for 2 days.
