“Wonderful company with all the right priorities, BUT, we may have to consider leaving as we really object to the high standing charges. We are light users and try to save energy every way we can, but these fixed costs are just out of proportion and a disincentive to save energy and the environment.
Please offer a non standing charge option-others do so- or a much lower charge!”
“It is pleasing to think that we may be getting some electrons generated by more CO2 considerate methods... but price and customer service is equally important. Recent increases to daily charges were a little unwelcome as with an energy efficent home they tended to sting! Customer service has been good and often I get through to the same person in the customer service department which is really nice. After the horror of dealing with automatons in EDF and taking many months to switch it has been a delight to deal with a smaller company.
I like the fact that Good Energy are investing in their own renewable generators ... solar and wind.”
“I joined Good Energy on the basis of their reviews in Which Magazine because I was frustrated by energy suppliers using their own readings to formulate their invoices - most often to their advantage.
Good Energy do allow the submission of customers' own readings which is what I want and I try, systematically, to submit my FIT, Electricity and Gas readings quarterly on the 10th March, June, September and December.
I have done the same this quarter and yet again you have sent me invoices based on your own estimated readings - which to be fair, are close to my readings, one being too high and one being too low. So once again I now have to call you to obtain corrected bills. I would very much appreciate your adapting your systems to incorporate customers' actual readings”

As a customer, I've not had any issues, but I've noted on social media a few occasions when they've got things wrong. You don't seem to have noticed as you are still inviting me to do this, and I wonder if there should be some advantage in the price. However as a low energy user I am disappointed to hear that because I am a low user my bill will increase even though you are lowering your prices for gas and electricity - because you are raising your standing charges to the point where any benefit to myself is annulled. :(”
