“Do not use this appalling company. They screwed up my Christmas order twice - first time it didn’t arrive at all, second time only half the order was delivered. It took two weeks and several emails / calls to get a response from their Customer Services. They have agreed a partial refund, but now it is middle of February and they still haven’t paid. They keep making up excuses why it hasn’t been paid, but I no longer believe them. Terrible company, do not part with your money to these scammers.”

“There was poor communication about the date of delivery and I received two unwanted substitutions, both unasked for. Admitted it was over the holiday period and I was given a refund for the two unwanted substitutions. But it created a shortfall in my supplies and a conundrum, as I had not planned freezer space for the sack of chicken breasts I was fobbed off with (I ordered four chicken thighs, a very different thing) and two pies containing ingredients I wouldn't normally eat instead of the one I ordered. The three items I received true to order were not as delicious as expected, though they cooked up reasonably, no better than an average supermarket equivalent. I don't think I will be ordering here again.”

“Very poor had my delivery but items missing quiet annoying when I was arranging a friends dinner. What did come wasn't great .at this point wouldn't reccomend. They have offered me a full refund but still haven't received it .”

“Their food may be good, but their customer relations are dire. I assumed the attached instructions for the pie I ordered were for cook from frozen. Wrong. Inedible and cold. This was worrying so for the beef Wellington I had bought, for our wedding anniversary, I checked the cooking instructions online. Yes, cook from frozen. I followed the instructions for the electric oven. Great pastry but solid meat. I have a fan oven. No instructions. Sad. So because I was the former MD of a local Bristol company I sent a long email to their email address suggesting improvements to the information they provide. No response.”

“I wrote a damning review on another site. I was very unhappy having to continually chase up on the failed delivery and no return of calls, but, to be fair you recognised the problem and eventually corrected the situation with adequate compensation. Lesson to learn, stay in touch with your customers, don’t keep them in the dark!”

“my first order and my last. 3 different delivery dates. prawns tiny and broken up (I did receive a prompt refund) just cooked the scallops last night for a dinner party, started off the size of a tennis ball but they were just full of water some tiny when defrosted and very uneven I size.”

“It was unfortunate that the wrong chicken (skinless rather than skin on) was sent without any prior comment. The mistake was not discovered until after I unpacked the order. However, a refund was made promptly. The Beef Wellington (at the 50% discount) was very good, although I would have commented about it being very expensive at the full price. The tempura prawns were also good.”
