“I wrote a damning review on another site. I was very unhappy having to continually chase up on the failed delivery and no return of calls, but, to be fair you recognised the problem and eventually corrected the situation with adequate compensation. Lesson to learn, stay in touch with your customers, don’t keep them in the dark!”

“Disappointed at the size of the T bone steaks. 1 is noticeably thicker than the other. Haven’t tried the prawns yet”

“I ordered the fish box and was surprised that the hake I had expected was replaced with mackerel, a completely different taste of fish and nbot one I would have bought. There was no mention of the reason for this. I apreciate the need to freeze fish, but the glaze is excessive, leading to copious amount of water accumulating in the thawing process. The fish were acceptable but still not as fresh as I would expect from ship to shore produce, in fact there is a distinctly fishy smell which is not a good sign of freshness. I am unlikely to reorder, which is a shame as I thought I had at last found a good fish supplier.”

“Sonce covid it is highly noticeable that prices of your goods have increased exponentially,whilst availability,quality and customer service have not kept pace...i e less quantity for higher price etc....i am currently reviewing my future patronage”

“I ordered scallops and beef wellingtons on 9th July In readiness for a dinner party on 15th. Delivery date was 14th July. The items were not delivered, and I heard nothing from the Company. I contacted them on the Monday and was told they had problems with a supplier, and the items would now be delivered 19th. I have not had the opportunity to taste the food, given that I bought emergency replacements for my dinner party, however the scallops are the largest I have seen, so I’m hoping they taste as good as they look. An apology of some sort would have been appreciated.”

Firstly, our apologies Caroline for not contacting you sooner regarding the delivery time. Sometimes, we indeed have some issues with our supply chain and this seems to have been the issue. We really hope you enjoy our large Scallops and it would be great to hear your thoughts!

“Items ordered were good quality arrived well packed and frozen. The reason for my low score is that I ordered Swordfish that was not available and was substituted with tuna with out notice. As no one in my house eats tuna this was money wasted and had they called to ask we would have had a choice. Quality if food was excellent and had it not been for the poor customer service I would have rated 5 stars”

“I ordered the rolled pork joint which was very tasty but had too much stuffing in it. I ordered a number of desserts which were very tasty but unfortuantely were mostly damaged on arrival. Saying that, Good Taste dealt with my issue in a more than satisfactory manner.”
