“Only used them once, but the price , quality and delivery were all very good. I went for 40mm slate. You need to remember when they are cut the 40 mm cut you can have some very long lengths. Some were very long. Delivery was also at the end of a long drive, although you have to order the delivery truck, paying to unload is worth it. Would use them again.”

“Grasslands turf provided a prompt and efficient service though we were let down by the delivery contractor. The driver was only 18 and a novice driver in his dad's new van who refused to bring the delivery of a pallet of turf to the property which is accessed along a private driveway. A more experienced driver would have had the confidence to drop it at the property. I offered to drive the van up for him but he had to ring his Dad to obtain approval which was refused. This resulted in a lot of inconvenience to us, involving several trips with a heavy wheelbarrow and having to borrow a friend's trailer. The turf was left in a public place overnight which was a worry as it could have been stolen. My advice to the delivery contractor is make sure the driver knows what the load is and ensure they have appropriate work wear/overalls and cloths to wipe dirty hands on wor. Turf is muddy stuff and the driver was clearly not keen to get his clothes or trainers dirty. Not the best customer experience.”

“I ordered a tonne of gravel. I was rung by the delivery team when I was at work saying they couldn't put the gravel straight outside my house because cars were in the way. They left it right at the end of my road (I live half way along) and I had to spend two days shifting the gravel using a wheely bin and spade which is ridiculous. I rung and complained and they said they would NOT offer anything in the way of compensation. Very unhappy.”

“Good quality, and arrived only a 2 days later than advertised. Main issue was inability to deliver to door due to size of wagon and gravel path, but as this is stated in the T & C's not their issue. Recommend reading T & C before placing order.”

“Fantastic turf in excellent condition when delivered and has grown without any problems or bad patches. Ordering was easy with a choice of delivery days. Delivery was prompt and the guys who brought it very helpful and carried the turf round to the back of the house. Whole process and product was fantastic and i would certainly use the company again and highly recommend them.”

“Turf sent by carrier not their own transport. Driver could not move the pellets off the truck. 2 of my builders assisted and evan then it was a struggle. How the driver could of delivered on his own I have no idea. When speaking to Grasslands they insisted they deliver like this all the time!!”
