Two ton of gravel ordered and paid extra for Saturday delivery. I rang to confirm the order and the date it would be delivered. I returned home on Monday to find both bags left in the middle of our drive. This resulted in issues due to other expected deliveries that week which I then had to rearrange. When I rang the office the lady was very polite and appologetic but would only refund the difference between normal delivery and Saturday (£5), she explained that mistakes happen when they are busy!! No consideration was was taken into account re the hassles it caused me to re arrange other deliveries and having to leave a car on the road all week until we could shift it. We paid for Saturday delivery for a reason. The delivery driver paid no attention to the highlighted delivery instructions which stated to ring me before delivery so we could move cars around. I will go back to using more competant gravel and aggregate suppliers in the future instead of supporting independent local suppliers.

Although I have had previous successful deliveries this one was a disaster. The soil was tipped onto the driveway and no attempt made to clear up the damage. Despite having called customer service I have not received any explanation or compensation . Members of my family took over 3 hours to clear up the soil which is not acceptable.

Too many middlemen-3 companies involved. After several hours on the phone Was promised delivery but last minute seperate delivery company said no chance.

I ordered a tonne of gravel. I was rung by the delivery team when I was at work saying they couldn't put the gravel straight outside my house because cars were in the way. They left it right at the end of my road (I live half way along) and I had to spend two days shifting the gravel using a wheely bin and spade which is ridiculous. I rung and complained and they said they would NOT offer anything in the way of compensation. Very unhappy.

Appalling customer service and attitude. Paid for an item that fell off their wagon on route yet no attempt to reimburse or assist. Their attitude was horrendous. Both their admin and service was appalling. I paid for next day delivery but 2 days later it hadn't arrived after a phone call it eventually turned up but then I can to argue to be refunded my next day delivery charge.

Poor service. Driver drop stones and atg bottom of the drive blocking the entrance. We don't even live on a hill!!! He also turf up the grass.

Poor, poor, poor. Poor, aggressive and bad tempered management, poor gravel delivery service and forced to pay extra £180 due to incompetent initial delivery service. Did not deliver when promised. Did not deliver free as advertised. Charged for re-delivery. Is this a con? I would recommend that this company is not used.

Failed to deliver on time (despite the fact I paid extra for next day) and then wanted to charge me more so they could 'rectify' the late delivery by delivering on a Saturday. The refund was processed promptly when I cancelled so I assume this process is well drilled.

Paid for next day delivery but it never happened it arrived on day 4 as it was the weekend . You offered a refund of the postage , rang you a week later and guess what No Refund so someone lied to me .

Good product. Pebbles as described and good quality. Good price. However, staff over telephone rude and extremely unhelpful. Delivery arrived and driver literally just dumped 1 Tonne pallet on the middle of road without trying to leave on front driveway. Simply awful... go elsewhere if you can.

Placed order no delivery date option given Left note for delivery next week mon/tue got phone call unable to make requested dates ok Agreed on wed/thur on the Tuesday get an email delivery will be Friday So called in Friday no good to me as back to work 12 hr shifts all weekend Told to pay £30 for upgraded delivery so asked for refund call taker became rude and put the phone down Would recommend C B Winters called them that arftanoon turf deliverd next morning now that's service

No customer services Delayed goods No reply to complaints i called their customer services line, no one ever answers. I emailed asking why my order was 3days late. The courier company phones me asking me to phone the driver and update her on Monday. This company does not care or take ownership. I received no apology.

Poor customer service. Delivery was made not on our property but dumped on the pavement outside a day later then promised. Turf was average. We were only patching up the side garden, won't be using this company to supply us with turf when the rear garden gets landscaped as we will require a large order and they use delivery companies who can't access even the easiest of driveways.

There was a 3 day delay between my email contact with the company and a response, on an ask the company live site I was sent a message advising my bark chippings - over 1 tonne in weight was due for delivery over a 2 day window... does that mean they expect me to be waiting at home for 2 whole days? The product itself is great and the value for money is good BUT The delivery driver was absolutely appalling - to the point i nearly refused delivery. I got a call 20 mins before the driver was due to turn up (good service) but i was not at home at the time as was after 4 pm in the afternoon so had assumed as no call earlier in day that my delivery would be the day after. The chippings are for paths in my allotment area which is not directly attached to the house the driver was all but refusing to deliver to a separate area. After much persuasion he then got the lorry stock due to poor driving skills on hos part as numerous HGV use this lane. After being rude to me verbally and then when i tried to resolve the issue by getting a local farmer to open his yard to give him extra turning space - he ignored us both and chatted on his mobile for over 5 mins leaving us standing aghast. Eventually after a bit of argument about his inability to correctly manoeuvre his vehicle then wanted to dump over a ton bag of product half on the road and half in my gateway - blocking ,my access and any road users...he had a pump truck but would nt move the product past the gate At this point i said unless he allowed me use of his pump truck to move it myself i would send it back Grasslands this driver is damaging to your business - if i did not need the product as opening my allotment for charity - i would have refused the delivery. The man was a liability in a customer service industry. Point to note, I have been an area manager in retail for the last 15 years - i would not tolerate this service or this individual regards S Mulgrew

I chose their best quality turf. It was full of weeds, which once pulled out has left bald patches all over my lawn and the grass was very thin to start with. To make things worse the cutter they have for the rolls left one end 2" wider the the other, making it impossible to lay neatly.

Never again ! poor service - load dumped on highway, blocking road and access. Removed by local council at my expense and deposed off. Asked driver at time to take away or put on private land. Said, up yours mate ! I'm not tacking it away or moving it! Then emails to company totally ignored ! BE WARNED !

After leaving negative feedback about their misleading delivery times, I received this mail from their M.D. Hi Darren I see you have left us a dirty smear on google feedback. I think people like yourself should be black balled from buying if all you can do with your time is write poison reviews. I am currently involved in a web reveiw site for just such customers. You were the person so obtuse as not understand simple English and take it the wrong way. I mean, next day delivery order before 12. I wonder how many people in a million would read that as, order at 10 at night get by 12 noon next day. One thing I have done since is to take out your post code from our delivery matrix in the hope of never dealing with you again as well as tried even harder to turn plain English even clearer. Thanks for the feed back I am going to leave you some on sadnothingbettertodo.com. as well as customerblackball.co.uk Man up retract yours and I will retract mine and we can part on good terms.
