Good quality, and arrived only a 2 days later than advertised. Main issue was inability to deliver to door due to size of wagon and gravel path, but as this is stated in the T & C's not their issue. Recommend reading T & C before placing order.

Happy with the delivery and condition of the turf however 1-2 weeks on and the turf is covered in mushrooms?? I hope once cut these are not reoccurring as they would seriously spoil my garden. 30m2 purchased.

Good value, but a bit difficult arranging delivery. Tried to deliver on specific date, but did not call to arrange delivery until after 7pm. The size of the delivery truck wasn't communicated well, which meant the gravel couldn't be delivered. I was told it would be delivered the next day, so waited in for this and it didn't come. It then arrived the day after, and the truck must have managed to get down the street. All could have been smoothed out by clearer delivery instructions and communication. Very pleased with the product.

I ordered a 1 ton bag of plum slate. Whilst I am happy with the product and it arrived within 3 days I am unhappy with the way the delivery was made. The 1 ton bag was literally dumped on a palate on the middle of my driveway, blocking all access. I had given delivery instructions and contact details within my order but these wee ignored. I emailed Grasslands and received a reply but was left a little disappointed by the lack of apology in their email.

Once Id found the top soil we were looking for I also purchased some new turf too for our garden. It would of been 5* and the communication was brilliant too via email. BUT once having the soil delivered last Friday, we unravelled the grass to find bits of moss in there, very long grass indeed and it was the colour brown as well as a murky green!! So so dry too. Felt like it had been rolled up for days. The cut of it was all over the place. Fortunately we ordered a tad more than what we needed.. 20 rolls or so more- fortunately we did because there was a lot of wastage. We spent a small fortune with you and we bought the more expensive harder wearing grass.. We were just very disappointed with the overall product of the grass and have been nurturing it all week trying to bring it back to life and hoping we hadn't wasted our money. Fortunately we know a green keeper and he's been helping us with his invaluable experience of what we should do. We feel some sort of refund should be given back to us as this really wasn't acceptable. We just hope the grass improves or we'll have wasted our money and have to start again.

The turf was delivered on time. At least 5 of the turf rollf were torn, quality through was not as good as I had expected. At least half had a white residue which we had to brushed off. Despite this turf seems to be settling in well. I would recvommend Grasslands.

Delivered exactly when they said they would, decent price etc. Not the best quality turf I have seen for this price though?

The end product was just what I wanted but it did take some getting hold of. Staff were we really helpful but supply was very slow. Turned out that after the initial delivery date was set they realised it was out of stock. It would have been nice to get the extra bag that I asked for and was told I would receive, but you can't have everything. Overall a pleasant experience but just with technical issues!

The quality of the turf was much as expected although one role was poorer quality than the rest. However, altogether four roles were damaged, probably by the deliverer. The first delivery arrived while I was out but my wife was at home. The delivery driver emphasised on a number of occasions that we had only paid for kerb side delivery (we have a long gravel drive) but then proceeded to have difficulty off loading the pallet onto the kerb. In the end about half of the roles were unloaded and stacked by hand, with the help of my 60 year old wife !!! We changed our plans when we started laying the turf and had to order some more. I decided to do this by phone and took the opportunity to tell the lady on the phone about the problem we had with the delivery and the damaged roles. Much to my surprise we didn't even get an apology ! So, the turf was OK but the service was well below par.

The grass arrived on a palate the top pieces were OK but they were very very dry,as we got to the bottom row of rolls on the palate they were incredibly dry the grass was mostly dead when we unrolled it we have watered it well every night however the dryer bits still look very dead we have also used lawn food to help it along. The grass looks as thought it is of two different variety's the top rolls grass was lovely and thick and the grass was very green and healthy which I would expect with their top range however a few of the rolls had thinner wirey grass that was not as green or thick and has not seemed to have the same quality.

Loved the pebbles. However promised delivery date of Tuesday or Wednesday was not achieved, causing no little aggravation as the labour arranged to move the pebbles was not available when they eventually arrived,

I ordered a 1000kg ( bulk bag) of plum slate. It took 5 working days to arrive and had to be manually moved off the truck by the delivery driver by hand and put where needed all with a palet jack ( poor driver) . The slate was very dusty when arrived so couldn't see true colour of what the plum slate was like until moved into position and washed. I was quite disappointed with the quality of the slate as there was lots and lots of green and white slate and grey pieces plagued with small crushed slate Which was rather annoying because if you was putting the slate down on membrane it would more than likely clog it all. The slate needs a really good wash before going down as it was covered in a film of clay by the looks of it and needed a good blast with the hose to get it off . In the the picture on the site the plum slate looks more plum and intense than it does in person. Happy that I paid the price that I did and would have been disappointed of I had of paid more.

Had a delivery of slate chippings last week. We were told when I called it would be Thursday. I worked from home that day but the delivery did not arrive until the next day. I was not there to help the driver place the bag in the right place but praise to him with a little encouragement he did what we asked. The next order of chippings was ordered on Monday. I called STD on Wednesday and they told me it would be delivered on Thursday. Again it not arrive as described and again I had worked from home. I'm not at home today and if the order is not placed in the right place this would cause a huge amount of work for me and possible disruption for neighbours.

I was expecting the delivery in the morning but it did not arrive until 5.40pm. I had hired a man to lay it but he had to come back the following morning to do this. On the plus side the delivery driver did help me bring the turf to my garden which he did not need to do as website says pavement delivery only. So far the turf seems to have taken well and I am pleased with the product.

Good price and good service by your support staff with the exception that my order was postponed at the last moment, causing me problems. Also when the stones were delivered the driver was unable to physically move the stones onto the driveway or even next to our property and left the 1 ton sack of stones 6ft into the unlit narrow country road!!! for me a 70 year old disabled pensioner to move the stones a bucketful at a time!! Taking me nearly 5 hours. If the driver is unable to handle a ton of stones at a time then maybe you should send 2 @ half ton sacks?? Or a two man team??

I asked for specific delivery on a Monday as I had people coming to help move the soil first thing on Tuesday. Nothing arrived on Monday and I phoned in the afternoon to be told I should have been informed the soil would be arriving on Tues / Wed. This phone call hadn't happened so I was promised a follow up call the same Monday. Again, no contact so three more phone calls later I got through to someone who did phone me back and the soil arrived early on Tuesday afternoon. Poor communication and significant inconvenience caused in what should have been a straightforward purchase and delivery. But the send person I spoke to was helpful and efficient to do what she could to help

The product was great! Exactly what we were expecting, unfortunately the dispatch let this order down. We were quoted a price for delivery that stated 2-3 days ( we assumed working days) but we ordered wed and it wasn't dispatched till mon? Then delivery took 2 days.
