“I was disappointed to have my delivery earlier than requested as it made the situation difficult. I would have been charged again if I had insisted on collection and re-delivery. An attempt was made to call me but by the the time I received the message (at work) it was too late and the delivery had been made. I was surprised that no further attempt was made to contact me at an hour when people tend to be more available I.e. Lunch. However although the lady I spoke to was not able to change the delivery without charges, she was polite throughout the conversation. The product itself was as described on the internet and I was pleased with the gravel and pleased with the finished effect on the bed. I would order this product again but would also call to ensure that I received the delivery I needed.”

“The top soil i ordered turned up a day later than requested (what was the point of asking for a day?). The courier was ill equipped for handling a 1.5m maxi bag as he only had a pallet trolley instead of a hiab crane. He could hardly move the load and it was left blocking the pavement. The top soil was good quality, shame about the delivery.”

“Order arrived very promptly which was good. However one of the bags had a split and a trail of gravel spilled out into the road and on our drive. The delivery man did not apologise and was not very friendly”

“Both me and my partner love Grasslands. The soil we ordered was perfect, the turf was very good, advice and ordering excellent but your delivery lets you down guys. We have asked twice for the driver to call us before or while delivering. Not once we had a call.”

“Although it was not delivered on the date that I chose, the delivery was prompt and quick and the soil was good. I did have to pull out a few bits of rubber and wire but these were easy to spot. The rest of the topsoil is good and has done the job that I wanted it to do”

“Good service, ordered on line and asked for an early Sat morning drop off and arrived before 8.30, only nuisance was the chip pings were filthy (not sure if this is normal) so had to put in wheelbarrow and hose down 2 or 3 times.”

“Unfortunately paid for a specific delivery date but grass didn't arrive, couldn't phone to ask where the delivery was as the office shut when I got home, came 2 days later, though good grass when it finally arrived.”

“The top soil I received was great but the manure had bits of brick and other rubbish in it. Delivery was efficient and within a couple of days of ordering.”
