Following my previous very negative review, the staff at Dunfermline wasted no time in putting things right for me, and I am now very happy with the quality of the service and the garment I bought.

Gudrun Sjödén staff is always friendly. I always get complements when I wear her clothes. The way they are worn by models is a bit over the top, but if worn one or two pieces at a time, they are stylish and fun.

Gudrun has made me happy because the sale prices were so good and the clothes were so colourful and I know they'll fit me!

This is a company with beautiful design and green (environmental) ethics. I have bought several clothing items both in store and online. The clothes arrived timely and beautifully packaged.

I am a recent convert to this brand. So far, no problems ordering. Orders arrive quickly. I am 65 yrs old, retired, and enjoy the carefree look of this clothing.

Very. Happy with pants and wool sweaters less happy with tops. I like the array of colors. Pants fit well, launder and hold up well. The tops are ridiculously loosely-gooses, no shape at all. So, I will only order pants and occasionally a wool sweater. Socks are good, as well.

I love the clothes I received from GS: two dresses, a cardigan, a pair of tights. The material is good quality, the workership seems solid, the fit is nice, the colors delightful. I have two concerns: most garments made in China, does GS contract with legitimate garment factories where workers are well paid and treated? I'd like more information. Second: each garment came in a plastic bag for a total of five plastic bags. I'd really like to see something different - paper perhaps. Only an outer plastic bag to protect the garments from the elements. It makes me sad and will influence my shopping habits. I'm working on less plastic and I've found numerous companies who are working out other options. Might GS improve your packaging? It would greatly appreciated and a better match with your natural fiber clothing.

I love this designer's clothes! Gorgeous patterns and materials, and a quick service. My only disappointment was the way everything was packaged, it was all tightly folded in plastic bags - disappointing for two reasons : 1, the website touts their green credentials, using organic cotton etc, so using plastic bags seems a bit against their ethos, and 2: this meant that the clothes were all creased and not fit to wear immediately. (I bought another Gudrun item from eBay which arrived beautifully wrapped in tissue paper, I would have expected it the other way round!)

I bought two pairs of 'leggings' in beautiful colours. When they arrived I realised that they weren't leggings at all, but footless tights! I don't know if this is a 'lost in translation' thing, but I was a bit disappointed. Maybe the price point should have given it away, but still... The colours are lovely and I'm sure I'll find a use for them, but the hunt goes on for some lovely leggings.

Love the colors and style. Unfortunately cheaply made. First time wearing a button down tunic, the buttons crumbled between my fingers. Lively colors , but very see through. Will I try again? Maybe.

High points of this brand: Natural fabrics with beautiful colors and lively prints. I always drool when I see them on line, but then I sigh. Why? The style is always the same: shapeless clothes with a collarless neck hole that's too large. I would say it takes 3 layers to end up with something looking decent, so it costs quite a bit for an outfit. If you are small, forget it, it will drown you. I have considered buying some for the fabric and cutting them again in a more modern way, but it would be too much work. So, I buy a scarf once in a while in order to enjoy the fabrics and patterns, and I forget the rest. Still, I love the fabrics, and I wish Gudrun would come up with new ideas for the style of the clothes.

Overpriced for towels that don't appear to be long of lasting quality. Nice designs but won't purchase again.

For a number years anything from Gudrun made me over the moon with delight. The funny, quirky, folky and practical combined to look well even after many launderings. In the last couple of years probably due to the problems of Covid and suppliers and manufacturing the quality of clothing has deteriorated considerably. Not only are the fabrics cheaper but the designs are lacking in detail and subtlety. Designs seem to lack details.

For a company that boost of being sustainable WHY are all the clothes made in China. All the factories there are run with slaves. China is a communist country that treats its own people like animals . Why would anyone think the factories would be any better.

Some clothing is spectacular in design and fabric, and is well-made. Love the whimsy. Other is vastly over-priced for what it is. You really have to be careful. The website is awful - and the customer service also vastly mixed. I try now to buy the clothing second-hand. Saves money, easier to manage currencies and shipping locations, and no having to deal with their staff.

I love the design and color of the clothes. However, it seems that my latest purchase in May of 2018 was not of the high quality of knits that my purchases of previous years was. The knit is very flimsy and after washing looks wrinkled and has no body.

Not Impressed with Towels. Quality not there. So much debris after first wash with much lint...so...washed again. These towels are a lint trap. Piling badly and the weave doesn't appear to hold up so I'm not expecting good wear. Too Bad...the style is there but that's about it. My first and last purchase from this company.

I have several GS cardigans in my wardrobe from five or six years back, but today's garments are so poor quality that I won't be ordering any more. The fabrics are very thin, almost see through in some cases, and when you order a cardigan you want something that will keep you warm, not a flimsy piece that lets the cold air in. They used to make lovely lined jackets, and I had two and wore them until they fell apart. They were from about ten years ago, when the company made good quality items in useful fabrics, which looked great and were worth the money. Again, today's clothing is far lower in quality, and not worth the money. And the fabrics have become cheaper as well, with some nasty polyester type fabrics that feel slimy and itchy on the skin. What has gone wrong? I hope someone in the company will come to their senses and restore the quality from five to ten years ago. But I doubt it will happen.
