“Disappointing Experience with Hefele Re Twist Push Lock (483)
I purchased the Hefele Re Twist Push Lock (483) on May 23, which was installed on June 23. Initially, the product seemed satisfactory, but its quality and after-sales service were severely lacking.
After a few months, the knob at the back started coming loose and falling off regularly. I lodged a complaint on November 23 (Complaint No. C231102130672-1). Although their service engineer repaired the issue within the warranty period, the problem recurred around October 24.
To my surprise, the company asked me to replace the complete back portion of the lock at an exorbitant cost of ₹15,000+, which is more than half the cost of the digital lock. I reluctantly paid the amount, and it's been 15 days since I'm waiting for the replacement.
Fortunately, I had an emergency exit; otherwise, I would have been in a precarious situation. The company boasts about its product, but in reality, it seems like a cheap Chinese product.

“Hafele India has terrible after sales service. We bought a digital lock and we have chased them for one month to come and install it and no one is responding to us! They keep pushing it on the next person but no one is taking responsibility. Terrible service! We have contacted them on the website, through customer care calls, through the WhatsApp chat and still no resolution!”
“My hob glass cracked before 10days. I raised the complain soon after that. Then technician came on third day to check. After that they said we will check with glass available. But no reply so I only called customer and ask, then they replied that glass is not available so we have to replace the whole hob. I said ok for that too. Again no response. Ehen I called again they said it is gor approval. Still after 5 days its on approval only. I only use to call daily and ask. Had kids and senior citizens at home, having food from outside from past 10 days. They are not feeling well and taking medicine for stomach issues. Their service is very bad. Just gor approval they need this whole time and days. Horrible. Think before buying products from hafele”
“I never received a manual on a special hinge (€ 1200,- with more than 100 pieces, impossible to install without drawings) even though I have called and have send several email.

“The product are really worst. I purchased a hob and after two months it’s not working. Not a single burner is working proper. When I complained the give me 12000 budget to replace 2 burner but after a month that burner stopped working properly. I was very happy with my old chulha but with this Hafele hob I am totally exhausted”

“Very poor customer service we purchase hob and it doesn’t work for atleast one year after few months their glass plate was cracked by itself so we register the complain but nobody respond they just delay and delay it such a very cheap brand i must say sorry that i will purchase your product but next time i will make sure that i will go for very reputed brand

“Absolute fraud company. Once their product is sold, they don’t care. They come and change all the parts and charge a bomb. They initially told me it will cost 5k to change parts and finally ended up charging me 15k. And my hob was only two years old and was used gently. After all these, no warranty given nor receipt of the service or payment. Never buying any of their products again or recommend to anyone. These people are fraud. Beware.”

My experience with Hafele's customer service has been an absolute nightmare. Over the past two years, my wardrobe has been a constant source of frustration, with one issue after another. It hasn't even been five years since I bought it, and it's falling apart. Every time I request a repair, they take ages to respond, and when they finally show up, they never have the damn parts! They come, take a look, promise to order what's needed, but surprise, surprise, only a fraction of the parts ever arrive. It's like dealing with a bunch of incompetent clowns. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of Hafele. Their furniture is garbage, and their customer service is even worse.THIS IS NOT EXPECTED FROM SUCH PREMIUM BRANDS!”
“What an absolute nightmare to deal with. Wanted one LED strip uplight for a bedhead. Firstly it requires ordering six separate components. Tried calling the local WA office but you can’t, you only get put through a bloke in Brisbane who was useless. In frustration I went into the WA store and even their staff couldn’t decipher the catalogue. Thankfully their “expert” just happened to arrive at the store and sorted out my order. All parts arrive separately via courier. I have now received three separate boxes and don’t know whether I have all components or not, so I’ll now have to face calling another office to get yet another unrelated staff member to resolve my order…all for one light. Never ever again! What a freaking nightmare of a company!!! It doesn’t matter what they have that you want, just find something similar elsewhere!!!”

“Shortly after moving into our new home. a hinge on a Hafele cabinet door snapped (poor quality or installer error?) It is a very complex thing consisting of six parts. I contacted customer care for a replacement. To be sure of a correct replacement, I sent several photos of the part. Three different reps. said they would contact me back, only one did and she still hasn't given me an answer. I'm not asking for a free replacement, just a CORRECT REPLACEMENT!
