“Highly unprofessional and incompetent business. They failed to meet the delivery date they stated, and to top it off are attempting to charge for failed delivery, dispute receiving no call from a driver, no ring door bell notification or evidence of a delivery, or a post card to say delivery was attempted! Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve now read numerous reviews stating similar problems, my advice is don’t make the same mistake we did and take your business elsewhere.”

“A simple email to say that we required a replacement shower door as all chrome components had rusted after just 6 months. I required a different shower door and was willing to pay the difference as I did not want the same issue. 44 backwards and forwards emails later, 5 phone calls, a letter and 2 emails to the manager, sees a towel rail sent out, the offer of a new door with me paying the difference, which has not been followed up. I am shocked at the customer service of this company, lack of concern and apportioning the blame to all others, instead of accepting responsibility and replacing the door as it is under warranty. Especially as they quote on their site: "We are still proud to be an independent company who values the custom it receives."”

“Please be very cautious of buying from this company. Similar to a number of reviews of HeatandPlumb we had an issue around returning an item. We purchased a mirrored bathroom cabinet. Inspected it on delivery and found no faults. After installing it we removed the see through wrinkled plastic coverings on the mirror and a chip came off with the sheet and there was a small crack also near it. These faults obviously happened before the cabinet reached us as there had been no issues at all our end. We contacted the company straight away with pictures and informed them. They said that they would not replace the cabinet as it had been installed and that we should have noticed the damage before installing. As the chip in the glass came away with the sheet it is impossible to see how we would have noticed this as it didn’t show. We shared all of these facts with the company and we have been back and forth with the company and the best that they can offer is to send us another cabinet if we pay them another £100 (and the cabinet was not much more than that in the first instance). We obviously do not want to pay for the item twice because of damage done prior to us having it. I have been really surprised at the disregard for our consumer rights and will be reporting the company to the Trading Standards Authority for this disregard. I would advise not to risk purchasing from this company without weighing up the risk of losing money if you need to return an item. Looking at other reviews there is a real reluctance to replace or refund damaged or faulty goods.”

“Not trustworthy, poor customer service when you have a problem with their product. They blame you or the manufacturer. Their team act as a mail box passing on messages between you and the manufacturer to avoid them taking any liability. Do not use them not recommended at all. I will never again go on their website. Rubbish.”

“Expected delivery today for a shower seat as I'm disabled called several times to ask if the item is on schedule, when I was called back heat and plumb said driver called not find my very central address rediculas no full reason provided. I asked why did the driver not call no no reason given just told it should now be delivered after the weekend on Monday. I said if not Monday then I will cancel this order. I'm at cost as I had someone waiting to inspect and fit. Very disappointed Mr Paul Mata”

“Terrible company. Received 4 smashed sinks. Even after telling them to put more packaging in the box. Customer support is terrible and does not listen. Secondly, they are refusing to collect two of the broken sinks stating covid safety. They have collected two broken sinks so why not the other two? Apparently I need to "smash them up" and put it in the bin. Instructing you customers to do something dangerous like smash up ceramic and illegally put it in your waste bin is not on. Lets hope sink 5 is in one piece!”

“Sent out a broken shower tray. As it was not opened whilst we waited and waited for the shower glass that arrived wrong 6 weeks later, was told the shower tray could not be returned or replaced. Now 3 months on we are still awaiting for the couriers to take back the incorrect shower glass. Avoid this company at all costs. If you find they are cheaper, it will cost in the long run and if you do have a problem expect at least 6 people to pass on the issue. I have emailed and phoned at least 20 times now and get the same response each time, it is now in the hands of the so and so. Here was my last response. Hello, I am aware of the inconvenience it would be causing you, I had escalated this with the manager yesterday again and they have taken an action against this to resolve the issue. “I ordered and returned one shower tray as it was the wrong size. This has been returned, but I'm still waiting to be refunded. The second one I ordered was damaged and I'm being offered no refund or replacement. Go elsewhere!”

“Still waiting on £4K worth of items to be delivered. Should have been with us a week ago but was incorrectly sent over 200 miles away. All I’m told is it will be with you ASAP! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”

“Received a damaged bath which they have refused to replace. It was wrapped in cardboard and kept like that until required - on unwrapping there is a split along the edge.The bath is absolutely filthy so don't know where it had been stored. I now have a bath that I can't use, workers who cannot finish the job that I am paying and the cost of removing the old one and buying a new one. I have recently been made redundant and this is a huge stress. Don't know if I can afford to finish the job now. I have spent over £500 with them and am within my 30 days.”

“Ordered a unit I'm a bathroom fitter it came poorly assembled they said would replace which they did, it came at 6.45 in morning this is not acceptable, anyway came to fit not one bit of instruction for instalation no measurements for brackets and after two hours I realised bracket was broken cheap alloy I sent messages with pictures never got response never purchase again product not worth it”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered nearly 250 pounds worth of bathroom items and the bath panel that they sent me was the wrong size and when the plumber came to fit it, there was a large gap as it was a smaller size than I ordered but when I got in touch with the company I was told because I had fitted it already they couldn't do anything but offer a goodwill gesture of 10 pounds, yet the panel cost me 23 pounds, also the glass shower screen I brought from them the rubber seal at the bottom is awful and when you shower water runs down the side of the bath as the seal is so cheap and flimsy, I will never use this cowboy company again.”

“Customer service and aftersales rock bottom. No care or politeness in any communications. They sent the wrong size shower tray in packaging that said the correct sizing. Never returned my phone calls. Refused to refund me as I was outside the 30 day rule, despite the fact it was completely their error and we are living under COVID restrictions. I had to absolutely insist they address the problem. They finally agreed to accept the return, one week later, but failed to advise me I needed to order the tray again. Totally infuriating. Will never buy from them again.”

“Great prices but absolutely shocking CS and aftersales. They use an Indian call centre where the staff have NO technical knowledge and read scripted replies. 1st problem. I placed an order on sat 9th and I booked a delivery for the Thursday 14th. Nothing turned up and after 1.5hrs on the phone it came to light they hadn’t placed the order with Coram directly. The items turned up the following week losing me a days wages on the Friday as I am a bathroom fitter. 2nd issue the delivery turned up with the incorrect waste totally different as per their website photo and description. It took over 3 hours trying to explain this issue to their staff. It was painful. They sent me a replacement and guess what, it was the same as the first and wasn’t fit for purpose. I went through the live chat, telephone and even FB. I spoke with numerous staff members and was offered nothing in compensation due to their incompetence. H&P lost me two days work and I ended up buying a different 90mm waste from ScrewFix. Suffice to say, I have 15 bathrooms booked in for this year and they will not be getting my business, I normally tell my customers to look at their website. I’ll go back to using Plumbworld. H&P you need to up your game, you need the customers more than they need you! Plenty of other sites offering 5-10% off. Regarding the photos. The website shows the trap with an elbow. Neither came with one and the unit itself is cheap plastic and they charged me £43.95. The same trap made by Mcalpine is £33.00 and has a metal chrome finish. 100 times better.”
