Purchased a neo hub but after a few days it powered off. When trying to check cabling and reconnecting the cable the pins in the ethernet port dislodged/bent and the unit would not power back on. It was less than a month old so expected some kind of replacement or repair. Whilst it was fairly straightfoward to purchase from them online, be warned - any follow up sales support/return is beyond a joke......slow and antiquated and not fit for purpose. I had to chase them constantly (be prepared wait to speak to somebody on the phone for 30 mins+) and attitude of support department is very much "computer says no". Eventually nearly a month after first reporting the problem I received an email informing me that that the hub was not under warranty due to "customer damage" and it would be returned to me faulty. Told them to save the postage. Too early to comment on thermostats already purchased but I am not optimistic judging by other comments.

I purchased 2 Heatmiser Touch Carbon thermostats for my own UFH at home. After 2 weeks they both failed to work. I discovered very quickly that they were ramdomly changing the date settings which was throwing the programme settings out. I changed it back several times but the stats kept randomly changing dates. I spoke to Heatmiser technical dept who were no use and denied that there were any issues with the stats. I tried everything to solve it and reset them many times. 12 months later, the stats are still randomly changing dates every 2-3 weeks so the UFH may/may not work. As a heating engineer with 35 years experience, I've had enough of buying poor unfit products and of manufacturers that won't take responsibility for their dreadful products. Heatmiser have joined the list!!

Drops connection, horrendously time consuming to set-up, unreadable characters on thermostats, non-intuitive and inefficient interface, temperature measurements incorrect, design of units extraordinarily dated. Avoid at all costs. Will be ripping oiut whole system and replacing.

Horrendously complicated, control markings so faint and tiny almost unreadable, probably going to have to replace, an expensive mistake

neo hub - forget it. After a year but still in warranty it disconnected from the "cloud" after 3 months of "support" I finally gave up when they said "can you take it round to a neighbour and ask if you can connect it to their network" !!!!!!!!! I bought a Tuya app device for less than a quarter of the price and it's perfect - both from Amazon so be warned - the most expensive definitely wasn't the best in my case. I have NO ROOM for anything heatmiser in this house, ever again.

had a new system fitted cost me 16k, you cant turn it off !!!?? we are sweating all night, opening windows in the day there is no control or adjustment - we have had the fitters back 4 times since installing they cant get it right. Heatmiser NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE EVER ! JUST WASTING ALL FKIN DAY TRYING TO REACH THEM. Also, it boils all night ! the heating fuel guy comes round like the milkman system getting through 1000L tank every 2 months at £500 a time. If your installer tries to fit this junk get the baseball bat out.

Faulty Products Less than 3 years and my thermostat is dead. Other reviews suggest it's not an isolated experience. AVOID if you can. "ie$trustpilot$com/review/heatmiser$com"

Struggling with the settings. This applications is not intuitive if compared with others in the market. It also crashes constantly. Total nightmare. I would not recommend it.

I’ve struggled with this device since it was installed almost a year ago. It constantly logs itself off so that I’m unable to control the heating - absolute nightmare. I now need to get the plumber back to install a new system that works! Would highly recommend that you DONT buy this product!

Again using the V2 thermostat control is too complicated. Consulting a manual and scrolling through a dozen options just to turn on my heating is frustrating. Where's the on button!!!!

This system is too complicated, setting the temperature doesn’t work and I have one zone stuck on holiday mode. I’m about to pay another plumber to change to a simpler system that works.

Really bad service. Sent burnt out units back for testing and they didn’t respond for 6 weeks. When they did they said I needed to buy new ones without a proper explanation. If you have suffered from failed units please email me as this company is selling junk at a premium price. Hive or Honeywell are much better devices with much better support. This company sells junk. My email is leeccoperr at gmail dot com

the NeoHub burnt itself out after two winters. Company have no regard for quality and refused to guarantee a product longer than 2 years. Substandard product to be avoided

Really disappointed that took over two weeks to get product through FedEx and Heatmiser just said they could not be held responsible - didn’t fill me with confidence that they would help if I need any support in the future!!

Horrible system built on ten year old technology. The user interface to Heatmiser is pre smart phone, pre Internet. Like programming your dad's video recorder. I ended up replacing them with Nests within a month.

I pre ordered a Neostat-e and paid for next day delivery. The date of 7th April was quite clearly shown on my order. So arranged to be at home on the 8th to take delivery. Checked my order status on 8th to track the delivery and it still showed as pre-order! Phoned them up - they have a backlog and it will only ship today and no we won't refund next day delivery charge. So I quoted their own website: If for any reason we cannot despatch your order within this timeframe, we will contact you to inform you of the new delivery date. Still refused to refund next day delivery charge! Order cancelled. On the positive side I ordered from uheat.co.uk and got it cheaper and it arrived next day!

I have been asked this morning to provide a review of my recent purchase from Heatmiser... Given that my order was placed on 19 Feb 2014, payment processed on 20 Feb 2014 and as of today (11 Mar2014) I am not in receipt of any goods it's only fair that I rate their customer service... Sadly poor... I have received timely emails confirming order and completion of payment but nothing whatsoever advising of a delay in dispatch or delivery dates... Even checking the order online reveals nothing other than my order is in 'pre order' status... Admittedly, if you hunt around the site you can deduce that they have no stock and are awaiting delivery... Since they asked the question I feel I have to review honestly. What would be the point of reviews otherwise? How about a simple email advising of order delays and offering estimated resolution dates? Should it really be left to your customer to chase up? Hopefully this will prompt a review of customer service and communications to ensure that service does not negatively impact their success.... That said... The NeoStat looks like a great product. I'm looking forward to installing and trying out this technology, hopefully some time soon!

I have 4 of these valves in my house controlling all the heating zones. I had the system installed in October 2012. Since then 2 of the valves have failed through the actuator seal allowing water from the heating system onto the floor. As these are the only replacements I am stuck with heatmiser. I would expect something like this to last longer than 12 months. Not happy !!!!!

The PRT/HW-WTS Kit does the job but there's room for product improvement, time increments could be more granular than the set 30 minute intervals, battery icon doesn't display battery charge level until it's low (so you don't really know how much charge is left), LCD display at eye level is very faint, needs to be mounted lower and viewed at an angle to see it clearly, backlight 'on' time should be configurable, desk stand could be more robust and wall mount would be better if the thermostat could be slide in rather than clip in. On the receiver it would also be more helpful if the LEDs were labeled HW and CH instead of Zone 1 & 2. That aside the design is good, could be great with these details addressed.

We had a heatmiser tft controller installed as new in early 2012 being version 1.3. It constantly broke down. HM advised to upgrade the software to the latest version,,3.0 easy they said just download the software and plug in to laptop. This action blew the controller. We had to order a new one - this time version 3.0. ..Why so many versions between early 2012 and now?? Then having ordered and paid for the new controller HM sent 5 ground probes instead...Why?? Has anyone at HM read, as a consumer, the instructions that come with the controller - labelled as version 1. Some diagrams might have been helpful?? and as for the very poor instructions for the download and upgrade....Well, think again!! Perhaps somebody at HM might like to come back to me on this?
