“I ordered the Cherry Wood Memorial Navy Flag case personalized for my husband, a LT JG who served on the USS Inchon, 1971-1974. The biggest operation for the Inchon during those years was “Operation End Sweep” in Haiphong Harbor, Vietnam. During the 12 months they were gone, Inchon circumnavigated the globe.
In October, 1993, at age 45, my husband died from brain cancer. We had two children, ages 9 and 11. We were devastated. Life continues, and we went forward during this difficult time doing our best to honor a great Husband and Father through all that we did.
