Seems to be somewhat good products.. have had for a few years. I have only a few issues so far. Main one being the connections that have the on off bar on them.. they fail regularly. And only have 2 small slithers of plastic on the closing ball valve inside the housing.. this could have been designed with much thicker material to stop it breaking out so easily... apart from that , the connections can come apart easier as they get a little loose over time.. I'm hoping new O rings may help that.

The problem is that the watering products DO NOT LINK to the hoses fittings that I or most people have. when I first bought a Spray Gun I was astonished that it arrived without any means of connecting it to my hose, I had to go and buy a separate fitting. I liked the spray gun, good quality and useful spray patterns, so i bought a second one with an attachment. Imagine my surprise when that fitting would not connect to anything unless I then ordered and waited for another fitting for the hose from Hoselink which would then mean that none of my other products would attach to it. It's all in the name really HOSE- LINK, well it doesn't. It is a shame, the Hoselink products that I have are pretty good, I just don't appreciate being manipulated into Hoselink for everthing or having to buy attachments everytime on top of what are already expensive products to make Hoselink LINK!

Company was good at getting products out.Solar lights are pretty but seems solar unit is not reliable.Switch off frequently and one has now stopped completely.Have been trying to contact but yet to be successful.

The new flow control connector that i recently received was faulty and have sent it back for a replacement . They are a great hose device and have owned one for many years so im looking forward to getting a working replacement for use in my caravan .

30m hose reel is 5 star. Standard round sprinkler is 1. Lucky to get a 1.5 metre diameter spray.

Ok, I have bought three hose and retractable reels, [ which have been excellent] however the hose do knot like most hoses. I was happy with them Also purchased several hand watering held spray guns [ sprinklers] with several different levels of spray, mist, cone, rain etc. over the years [ they were ok ] I found the handheld spray nozzle works fine for a few years and then it leaks. But I put it down to being dropped and or just use damage. However. I have just repurchased a tap fitting [ which are excellent] and a hand help spray wand. From the very first use the nozzle leaked, only one of the levels work which was the cone. The others unusable. This is the fourth time for me. So not sure I will be purchasing these again. Its like a flange or gasket or rubber washer is missing or not working properly. I do not know. But I was disappointed. Cheers

No mention made at point of purchase that specific hose attachment required for sprinkler. Bought at extra cost.

The product is of a very good quality but doesn't perform as hoped. The hose is very rigid and hard to handle and the special high pressure fitting is not very effective.

Unfortunately with any Hose Reel the pressure will reduce so it may not be as strong a water pressure than a normal hose, this is due to the way in which the water has to travel. The product they make is very good, however they just will not leave you be after the purchase with offers and review requests, even when you try to unsubscribe. I therefore suggest you buy the product if you want something well made but give them a FAKE email address. I only write this review in the hope they will finaly take me off the list. I will also buy again from they, but will take my own advice and give a fake email as I do with all the Chinese and dodgy sellers. Had hoped a reputable Australian seller would be better.

I recently purchased 3 hose reels. I have the floowing comments: -the masonary anchors that came with the reels were poor quality. I had to purchase decent Ramset anchors and remount the reels. The stainless steel screws supplied were fine and I reused these. -I did not realise I could not connect my existing sprinklers without purchasing additional fittings. This was not a big problem other than the inconvenince of making an additional order and waiting for delivery before I could use my new hoses. I purchased plenty of fittings plus a Hoselink patten sprinkler which I am very happy with. -My biggest problem is that I mounted one of the reels on the lright hand side of my house. The hose inlet on the reel protrudes past the front of the house and I assumed I would be able to pull the hose out at an angle and to the left across my front lawn. However I did not relise that this was putting pressure on the occilating retrieval mechanism and it appears that after pulling the hose out just once I have damaged the mechanism. The retrieval system no longer moved from side to side properly and the hose tends to bunch up. This is disappointing as I think the only solution will be to replace the hose reel and ensure in future the hose is only pulled out directly in line with the reel. This will be an expencive mistake, which I take responsibility for, however a warning in the instruction manual may have avoided this problem. Cheers, Anthony

The hose connecter with flow control is easy to fit and use. I use them on both my hoses however both just failed within weeks of each other As others have mentioned the internals are what failed, so maybe time to review how and what they are manufactured from.

The handheld sprayer is not well designed at all the full and the jet are so similar that you can't actually use them to water to strong. . The Centre one just doesn't water anything cause it's spread out. I find it very annoying that there's no handle on it so you can hook it onto something to hose something down for awhile. I will go back to using my Kmart $4 sprayerVery disappointing for 40 odd bucks. The hose itself is okay

I like the concept of the hoselink but very dissapointed with the low pressure we receive, I have to use my old hose when I want to water bigger areas and can only use yours for very slow hand watering. It is not our water supply as our old hoses spray great. The longer hose is useless. Also disappointed that when I bought mine there was no advice about buying a bigger hose. I have spent about $1000 and have rang and complained.

There is no doubt that these hose connectors are excellent. But, there are other weak points, I used an adapter which snapped at the threaded part rendering it useless. They are not cheap, so was rather disappointed.

Was not quite what I was expecting. The winding in of the hose is very static, not smooth. The connector for the hose to the tap connector is not staying on regardless of tightness and leaks regularly. The handheld sprayer though is very good with the different settings. Overall it just feels cheap and expected better value.

It is a good design alternative than the other product ( e.g. Evolve) that does not require fixing into a wall or a post. The external design, the hose, and the fixtures look in good quality. However, there are things left to be desired or flaws. 1) Corners are sharp and hazardous for the kids (could have been better in curved). 2) The reel handle could be better foldable, so it can be folded when not used so not to be trip hazard. 3) One our first use, the hose surface has rub against the concrete floor underneath while winding in the hose. This is because the bottom of the box is open and any loose loops of hose will rub on the concrete floor. Now our hose has many hard surface scratches on first use — hence compromised its UV protection and longitivtiy. There should have been barrier at the bottom to avoid this issue. 4) there could better have a holder for the end sprayer. Without holder, the sprayer is dangling and touching the concrete floor and therefore have scratches over time.

I am very disappointed, after having my first Evolution replaced, due to leakage problems within the unit, to find out this morning that this is a known problem. 1- If I was aware of this in the beginning, I would not have purchased the unit. 2- when I contacted Hoselink to report the pressure leakage issue, instead of Hoselink replacing the unit and me having to wait 30-45 minutes in line at Australia post to return the first unit, I should have been advised of the leakage problem, rather than going through the same experience twice, and still having a leaking product. The telephanists I spoke to have both been extremely polite and pleasant, but the problem remains, and I am left waiting for an unknown period of time for a replacement. The unit, for a person of my financial position, has taken a very long time to consider buying, as I don't really have that sort of money to spend, however when I have spent what I consider to be a large amount of my money on this item, I expect to have no issues. It is unacceptable to sell a product, at such a cost, knowing it to be faulty. I believe it should be removed from the market place until the problem has been successfully resolved. Possibly one of the reasons you haven't had more customer advices/complaints for this item, could be that many customers aren't impacted by the leaking unit, ie the unit has garden or concrete below it, not wooden shelves, as is my case. I believe the concept of the unit is great, however it should have been engineered properly, and stress tested before being released onto the market. Regards Max Sutton.

I am sorry you have had this experience with your Hose Reel! We have worked extremely hard over the last few years to bring manufacturing back to Australia and have been testing and improving this model numerous times before releasing it to market. We have sold an extremely high number and whilst most customers are loving using their new Evolve Reel, a small number of customers have had issues with leaking. This is something our products team have been investigating and looking into as a top priority to find out what is causing this to happen. I can see we do have your details down so you will receive a replacement Evolve Hose Reel once we have rectified this issue. I will of course pass your concerns on! so far I like the look of the hose and like the handle and the spout, but its not as functional as I had hoped, and kinks easy. It also doesnt match the colour of the hook it goes on, even though they came in a pack. But its super long which is handy!

I am sorry about this! I can assure you it is not common to kink, if you are having issues with this if you can flow water through the Hose and lay it down in the sun for a day the hose should then go back to its original shape and the kinks should subside.
