As someone that works in retail myself, I am disgusted with the online service. Quick to take an order but when you have a problem it is impossible to get to speak to anyone or get a response via email. Telephone number just rings and rings and then cuts you off. When you are trying to return something the website basically says it is having a problem try back in a few days. I will never order again from House of Fraser even though they do have some good bargains. If you do order make sure it is exactly what you want as you can't return it.

I was horrified that Frasers would not accept any liability when a parcel with a high value was left in an old bin hidden in a bush outside my house and was subsequently stolen! They refused to discuss the case with me and simply said the case has been closed after sending a photo front the courier of the parcel in the bin. I have never specified a safe place for delivery and expected this to be a signed for parcel given the value. Disgusting customer service, don't shop here.

I do not recommend shopping at FRASERS. Terrible customer service, scamming their customers. I bought a coat for my daughter online. The coat has a manufacturing defect, the sleeve stitching is wonky inside and it is practically impossible to put hand inside. I sent the coat back and received a reply via email that the jacket does not have any manufacturing defect and I am not entitled to a reconsideration of the case. I wrote many emails and waited a very long time for a reply. In each email I was dismissed and the answer was the same - the jacket was checked and there is no manufacturing defect. I sent photos and explained that the jacket had not been checked properly because it is on inside and you cannot put your hand through . I was informed that my case had been closed. I feel cheated. The jacket is not suitable for wearing. I spent £145. How can you sell goods with manufacturing defects. How can you not check the returned goods thoroughly. This is pathetic. I have emails that were sent to me by incompetent customer service. I am ready to publish them.

This companies managers do not know tge consumer laws. We have a receipt and item which is as purchased. Manager claims a bar code tag is missing something we never had nor removed

Absolutely terrible customer service. After sending several messages/ emails the response time is shocking. After placing a online order it took 3 days to receive a order confirmation which led me to believe that there was a problem with my order. Tried to contact customer services Absolutely terrible response time.. I ended up placing the order again and then was charged for the second delivery and the return. AVOID USE A COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY HAS A DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM

I paid for express delivery of items as I needed them on a tight turnaround. Items were dispatched with Evri and were to be delivered to my local post office for collection. The courier did not attempt delivery, claiming three failed delivery attempts (to a post office!) and instead after three days simply returned my items to Frasers. On contacting Frasers, I was first told to just be patient despite my items already being late, then the next day I was told that there was nothing they could do and they would issue a refund once the items were returned.

You took my order, and my money and then discovered that you o my had one item in stock. It’s a set - even a robot could figure that out. Now you want me to pay postage to return the part of a set ? The worst online shopping experience even.

I orderd a suit over £600. I was unsure of the size so order two sizes and paid next day delivery, on a Thursday, Friday I get a message to say there is a delay, and they gave me a code to use on the next order for free delivery. I need the suit for a special occasion on tomorrow, Sunday. There is no direct telephone number, just a poor messaging system, saying if it's not delivered in 14 days I can have a refund. Or I can cancel now and the money hopefully will be back in my account 3 to 5 days. I asked what do I do now about my special occasion tomorrow with no suit or money to buy another one. There response was, they can refund the £600 in 3 to 5 days. This has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Please do not buy anything from HOF online, they do not care about anyone and the customer service is the worst. Date of experience: 28 November

I love shopping at House of Fraser! Their selection of clothing is fantastic, and I always find something unique. The staff is friendly and helpful, making my shopping trips enjoyable. Highly recommend!"

I have been ordering from HOF for over 5 years while living in Greece and never had a problem. As of lately they decided to change shipping courier and use a free one in Greece but still charging me £16 delivery. As expected i have 2 parcels missing since 23rd September. There is no contact number for customer services just automatic answering script as a response. Terrible customer services. Still no refund so i am going through Paypal now.

Numerous occasions almost every order there either an item missing or very slow process waiting for order to be delivered emails enquiries dont receive replies from and the online chat just repeats itself over and over again "how busy they are".It just infuriates me that know one working therehave any customer service training.

Parcel missing over a weel now showing ops. Frasers chatbot disconnects you after 5 mins no contact number. I have had to mail them in the hope they refund me. Very frustrating!!!!!!

Absolutely appalling customer service. It is basically a chatbot trying to get rid of queries and IF you eventually get through to an actual person which is unlikely they will take around 10 days per message to reply! I ordered 2 items on 21st September and paid for fast delivery and am still waiting for one of the items (17 days later!) Been promised a £15 voucher for inconvenience over 10 days ago and still nothing. Absolutely shocking service and will look at my consumer rights and make a complaint as not good enough!

Let you order items that are not in stock and then never tell you they are not in stock but just leave your order on stage 1 of 3 for week... Message them to be told you can wait or get refunded, well if I wanted to wait when will I receive my item??? who knows? They will not even tell you when its due back in or anything, happy to take your money and sit on it but will not inform you the items you have ordered are not in stock unless you ask about your order!
