If your a contractor run as fast as you can & then run a bit faster. They've got so short of contractors they have find somebody 1.5hrs away. In the mean time constantly letting down the customer with missed appointments.

Can’t keep up installation appointments Still incomplete installation after having accepted my quote over two months ago. Although the first part of the job was completed the company seems to be unable to keep up an installation appointment, this is now becoming to fee like a curse! I was looking forward to completion on Saturday 21 September and, incredibly, the office coordinator decided to book the same engineer to a job 60 miles away from my location first thing in the morning getting him to me. Of course , he didn’t make it. Another Saturday wasted at home with cancelled plans, seems to me all about maximising timings and profits showing almost zero customer care. I hope that, instead of keep on removing reviews of upset customers, Impragas will take actions on this occasion, and finally put things right. I have been lucky with the weather so, far but for a job accepted in June is astonishing that it is yet to be completed. Very upset and dissatisfied with what has been delivered, as a customer who chose them over several other propositions.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service received and all I’m asking is that they complete my installation. I accepted a quote for a new boiler and decided to go for an electric boiler. Initially I was offered a 9k model which would have been insufficient for my three beds house. When I realised this they agreed to change it to the 12k model, which is fine. What happened next, the electrician came to complete the first part of the job and the heating engineer was meant to arrive the next day but he did not turn up. It was a Saturday totally wasted... I was phoned and told he was going to be a little late, then I was told by the office that they couldn’t get hold of him. They sent an engineer to me the following Saturday and he then discovered asbestos in the old flu parts therefore had to stop the job and leave the premises, as couldn’t touch it, this was overlooked and missed out during the initial survey. Impragas said that they would arrange for the asbestos people to come and take away the old flu as soon as possible And then send the heating engineer again to finish off the installation, to date I haven’t heard a thing. I have been promised call backs from the installation manager and these have never realised. I called many times and it is either an extremely long wait in the queue or they cut me off all together or they put me on hold endlessly . Not an update not even for letting me know that they are trying to sort a date out. I totally understand problems can happen on the way and they might not have any news for me, but customers should be kept updated and never ignored. They can do better. In desperation as I am not getting my calls returned, I spoke to Citizen Advice and have sent a recorded delivery letter seeking a resolution within the next 14 days I have the material in my house, pipes on the hallway floor and I’m still waiting for a date to get this completed. This situation is extremely frustrating. All I ask is that they finish off my installation, surely its in their interest as well as it is in mine. If they can turn things around and get this finally completed, I’ll be happy to post a revised review, please Impragas, return my calls and try and turn it around

Horrible, horrible service. We used Impragas to install a new boiler. After the initial survey, we booked in, but the first two installation dates, no engineer actually turned up. They didn't seem to have much of a clue what was going on when we contacted the head office. After service seems to be no existent. Avoid at all costs!

I recently purchased a new boiler from this company and have regretted my choice since then. The installation was rushed and I have had problems with the boiler and the dreadful customer service. Getting someone from this company to rectify problems is a nightmare. When someone eventually turns up to put things right it is a mad rush to get away again quickly, leaving the complaint unresolved. My boiler is still not working correctly and I am not confident that ImpraGas will ever sort the problems out. If you are considering buying a boiler from this company then I suggest you should think again.

If I could give no stars, I would. This company has caused so much distress, damage and loss, it’s been heartbreaking. We got a new boiler installed back at the beginning of February, and 2 days after installation we woke up to a big leak coming through the ceiling of our brand new kitchen. And another leak underneath the boiler, damaging our new loft flooring. They didn’t send the engineer out until the next day (luckily we had a neighbour who managed to stop the leak) who admitted to us he hadn’t tightened two bolts properly and apologised. We then got a phone call from impragas saying that the engineer wasn’t admitting liability. Not only did it leak, but they also fitted a boiler that wasn’t compliant with our radiator pipe system so 2 of our radiators did not heat up AT ALL after the new boiler was fitted. This means they failed to do all the safety and standard checks and fitted a boiler that didn’t work efficiently. Their only response was the pipe work was not included in the cost. How can you sell a customer a boiler that is not compatible with their system and not tell them? We were so upset as not only did we pay over £2000 for a new boiler, an additional £1500 to another company to sort the pipe work (as we couldn’t survive another second in winter without a boiler and they’d left us 3 weeks at this point) but we were now hundreds out of pocket for the damage caused, and out of pocket as it delayed our bathroom fitting by a month. THEN, my husband wrote a negative review and got a phone call from one of the managers asking him to take it down if they worked to rectify their mistakes. That’s ILLEGAL and admitting liability. My husband was then put in contact with the director and owner of impragas. He said he would either cover the cost of the repairs if we got a quote or send someone to do a quote and sort it. We got a quote for £500 to which he then changed his mind and said he would cover half. Disgusting. He also said this meant we couldn’t write any reviews etc if we accepted and copied his legal team in. This is the problem with these big companies. THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL CONSUMER, THEY JUST WANT MONEY. We are newly married and this has had such a huge affect on us. And they LITERALLY do not care. They have to have insurance for things like this and it would not have any affect on them if they just refunded us our money and compensated us for the absolutely appalling time they have caused. But they are selfish. And are consumed with greed. I actually feel a little sorry for them. We are currently in the process of taking legal action, and we even gave them one more chance to rectify things and go to an alternative dispute resolution, but they’ve not bothered to respond. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. It will save you a lot once the future. I pray that nobody else has to go through this. And as a wife to a man who has done nothing but try with this company.. I will make sure I write a review everywhere I can, to prevent this happening to anyone else.

Nigel, the engineer that came out to suss my boiler system was great, he really went the extra mile to make sure that the boiler system that was being put in would be the right one. Sadly he has been let down by the rest of the company. The first installation appointment was for the 24th of April. This was cancelled due to the engineer being sick. Fair enough. The second installation appointment was for the 13th of May. I had taken a day off of work. Around 1030 when no engineer had shown up I decided to give Impragas a call. They had cancelled the appointment and failed to notify me. They had the cheek to tell me they had called me twice the previous Saturday. They did not and I am happy to post my call records. We rearranged for the 25th of May. Today, on the 22nd, they called to say they were going to have to cancel the appointment and couldn't fit me in until early June. I will not recommend this company. They are useless. You'd think that a third appointment for a customer would be a priority. Turns out it isn't. I'll find someone else to do the work. Edit: After seeing this they decided to offer me a £100 discount. Given the total cost of the system and the hassle they have already caused, I'm not prepared to take the risk and so declined.

Engineer turned up 1 1/2 hours late. Gave a quote after 5 minutes and then got annoyed when I told him I that I had received a lower quote. Arrogant and unprofessional ttitude throughout and left sharpish.

The man who gave me the quote said that because I was without heating or hot water they would come and install the new boiler within days, Eventually after they had failed to turn up three times I cancelled the contract, and was told that it would take 2 weeks for the deposit to be returned, it actually took several phone calls and 3 weeks + before I was refunded. Went to British gas who came to put my new boiler in within 2 days of accepting the quote.

The company was hired to change and move the boiler. Engineer arrives on the day when was booked in. First of all the office/sales team have fail to informed him that the boiler need to be moved as per our agreement when we have accepted the job to be started. The engineer worked all day but have not finished the job (went home at 10pm). We were left with whole in the roof, unconnected pipes and water running down from the boiler. The pipes have not been covered the job was not done. The engineer mentioned that many of the required stuff was not on the list of the installation order. We have been told someone will come the same week. No one came we called again promised that someone will come, no one appeared. We have waited couple of days of work and money to call the company to find out where is the engineer. The company actually does not book anyone in. This is the third week and still nothing. The company takes no responsibility, this is the most unprofessional, chaotic and unreliable company I have ever came across. Please DO NOT USE THEM safe yourself time, money and stress go elsewhere as it is not worth it! I can recommend better sole engineers that will do a better job and provide you with a service expected. We still obviously not have the warranty or the certificate.

Very disappointed with Impragas, they came to install boiler, the fitter said he couldn’t, and after three hours telephone calls with your office told me the surveyor who had come had been sacked due to incompetence! Impragas have not responded to my emails, and on the day of installation told me of a price increase and even altered my finance agreement from their end without letting me have a breakdown of why they were increasing the price of the job!!! Quite illegal practice I feel. They even sent a carpenter at 7pm to take out cupboards from my fitted kitchen and around the floor standing boiler, completely wrong instructions and he pulled off the job. He showed me the text telling him what to do, completely wrong as he said. I have emailed Joseph and Chris twice no response. After the fitter said he couldn’t do the job, I was phoned me to say could I keep the fittings etc till they could collect them. They didn’t turn up on the Friday as arranged but later in the day when I rang to ask what was happening Chris asked me to keep the goods till Monday and could I keep them secure because of their insurance and as pipes in the passageway asked if I could cover them with a tarpaulin so they don’t get stolen!!! as if every pensioner has a tarpaulin and even could do this - a joke!!! They informed me of a new installation date and a price increase! They couldn’t tell me why the price increase but when I spoke to the finance company they informed me Impragas had altered my financial arrangements from their end, I feel illegal practice. I had to look after their equipment for 5 days and after they were collected at my request because twice I’d been let down, even they then asked a girl in the office to ring me to see if items had been collected. I told her she should be contacting the pick up agent not me. I have not even had a phone call or email as an apology but I certainly know I won’t be recommending Impragas to anyone and I certainly feel the company have not got Sir Alan Sugar’s integrity or work ethic. A very disappointed customer

The sales rep was so knowledgeable and we felt confident to go ahead with this company..We're due a two day installation had an annoyemous call to say a two man team would turn up on the Tuesday for a one day job. Boiler installed failed to work, we had to go a day without heating or hot water. Had to chase up the electrical and gas to get this sorted. Apparently the electrician wasn't booked to connect our new Emerson heater, but luckily he had the cable in his van. After 3 days we had heating and hot water, only to find that the engineers didn't refit our flu to meet current regulations. Still waiting for this to happen. On my calls to the customer service dept that the reviews on their website gave us the confidence to go with them, but in hiensight would have looked at other companies. If your looking to replace just make sure you do the old 3 quote comparison

This company is all sales and no service. The customer service line of their switchboard frequently timed out on hold after 2 hours while I dealt with the many issues with the boiler they installed for me. I only ever got through to the same one customer service rep. Who knows if they have more than one handling their national customer service. Of course the sales line always got through instantly to one of their many sales staff. First appointment they made, they cancelled by phone at the time the were supposed to arrive at the door. At the rearranged installation, the engineers in attendance barely demonstrated working knowledge of the kit they were installing, made a pig's ear of the brickwork they had cut through to install the condensate pipe, and left the installation lacking several of the promised features of the quote. When I provided a signature to confirm which parts of the installation didn't require remedial attention, they copied it onto a "certificate" declaring my full satisfaction with the complete job and used it to bill the finance company the full quoted amount. Efforts to make right any of the numerous problems with the job they did were stalled and stonewalled, and I had to go to court, where the District Judge agreed their conduct had been appalling, before I saw any redress for making the mistake of dealing with this company. They like to use the term "5 star service" in a lot of their marketing materials. To say this is an empty claim would fail to capture how actively poor their service has been.

Received an email today from Joseph Valente CEO stating - 'Just wanted to say thank you for your business and being an amazing customer'. I am amazing (according to my wife and girlfriend) but I am NOT a customer! I cancelled my order for the installation of a new boiler before the ink was dry!

Professional Con! Very sad to say that after initial expectations of a great job with a larger reliable company, I have been thoroughly disappointed. Spent over £7,500 with them, expected 'the perfect solution to a complex system (apparently)' and have since regretted ever giving them the job. The fitters made a complete pile up of a job.. cutting through pipes and making a awful mess of joists etc. then hounded by 'managers' to get final payment under the pretence that 'warranty' would always mean the job would be completed... now they will not arrange a hand-over, an explanation of how to run the system .... or even come back to get the last 2 radiotors working!!! a complete professional con and I don't know why they are still in business.. DO NOT USE. would be happy to speak to anyone thinking of using them... they sound professional and competent... until you need their help.... pleas do not even compare their price.

Do not use this company. They are not competent at installing or repairing. If you raise a complaint they will not respond. We had to pay British Gas to come and rectify the Impragas errors. Do yourselves a favour and AVOID this company. Shockingly bad !!

Despite asking about extra costs and being assured the company would 'take the hit' if anything did arise I'm still without heating because a valve has failed that controls the heating side of the system. (Beware small print.) Being a pensioner I am not able to instantly produce spare cash for unexpected 'extras'. But hey! I'm just an old woman who now has a little more knowledge about heating systems, I've survived the 'beast from the east', spring is here and hopefully funds will be found before warmth is again in demand. Maybe Impragas will also clarify the statement in their brochure regarding hidden costs and think about principles.

Customer service is shocking, unable to get through to anyone even with two managers direct contacts, complaint opened in 13 Nov 17, still no reply or resolve mid Feb 18. Boiler plumbed in with water flow the wrong way, Multiple cancelled appointments on the day of appointment, never on time, left mess and un finished work, over100 hours of phone calls and 40 hours taken off work for no one to turn up or people that can not complete work. People arriving with no appointment booked, engineers not informed before arrival and over booked. No ombudsman signed up to so no one monitoring or regulating customer service. My personal experience with this company leaves a lot to be desired and I wouldn't recommend. Not the cheapest company we had offered but give impression of big company policies and customer services, looking in to them now I see a lot of customers with the same issues. Always leave positive reviews when possible so all I can say, engineers always polite and try to be helpful.

great early start for new boiler, Ruben turned up, got cracking, job done pretty quick. However, after he left, i noticed i could see daylight through flue vent wall, i fixed my self with chaulk. plaster on kitcen side left open, condensate pipe leaking, and now my raditors are noisey with debris sound,,as power flush not done properly!...manged to do a few bit myself, as no answer on phones for 40 minutes plus, & no reply to my emails!...they passed on radiator noise issue to Vaillant, but the rads arent Vaillants responsablity!...shame ive taken out the 10 year service plan with impra gas, i have no confidence. even the sales rep is not answering my calls or tetxts!.....wish i had read reviews earlier! my honest opinion, avoid, if you want a stress free experience.

Impra Gas, You're fired!! Went from bad to worse. Engineer had to be thrown out at 11pm as he was contracted to complete in a day. He messed up kitchen to point where we were sent a handyman at Impra Gas's expense to repair all broken kitchen tiles. (Wept when I saw it. We had a leak from the NEW boiler which I didn't notice until the morning. He rushed so madly he put the 3 way valve in back to front and after trying to tell us it wasn't their responsibility that we could get no hot water ,they have finally after 3 weeks sent someone to correct it. Sorry but I cannot recommend this company. They are full of promises. They are the most expensive quote we received which we mistakenly took to mean quality. For a moment I thought I was the special guest in an episode of cowboy builders. Steer clear!
