“I live in a condo in a city by a very busy highway with my bedroom windows facing the highway. The indow inserts did not help with the trucks and motorcycle sounds during the middle of the night, and moderately reduced the white noise of the regular traffic. The indow inserts did not make much difference for my windows living right next to the highway with inconsistent traffic throughout the night. My neighbor below went with the more expensive lamented glass, and had much more success with noise reduction.”

“After building a soundproof bedroom wall the only remaining weak point was the windows. Installing Indow window inserts made a dramatic difference. We live by a very busy street and now only barely hear the biggest/noisiest trucks. It is so quiet that my wife has turned off the white noise generator.”

“We own a NC historic home with historic home windows!! Beautiful? Yes! Great at keeping out the heat and cold? Absolutely not!! We didn't want to add bulky, ugly exterior storm windows to our home so we began looking at the many interior insert options available. Read literature on options and contacted Indows and others for additional information. The Indows representative, James Werth, was the best, most professional and knowledgeable. Went with Indows 99.9% because of James and like he assured, we are 100% satisfied. No more heat/cooling loss and no unsightly exterior additions to our historic home. Thanks, James and thanks, Indows!”

“We had some historic windows that were problematic. Richard came and assisted us every step of the way. Our study is now cooler, and way less noisy. We got to keep our old windows, and create better energy efficiency and sound proofing. Great service. Thanks Joel + David”

“I purchased standard grade and acoustic grade indow inserts. I am sure they will help with insulation, but the acoustic grade make no difference with the street noise. I live in an old house and the windows practically fill the wall facing the street. My street is not even that noisy but you can hear everything, including three years olds playing in the daycare outside on the other side of the road. I would have just gotten the standard grade because the acoustic ones do not work. The salesman was just interested in the sale. He first claimed that most sound would be blocked out and after I reported that there was no difference in sound said that they really work best with brick homes. I hope they at least help with winter insulation because the acoustic grade windows DO NOT live up to the company’s claims.”

“Amazing product! We had windows that don't open, two of which were trapezoids. Ordering replacement windows was exorbitant. Our Indow inserts fit beautifully and function exactly as they're supposed to, allowing us to open our curtains! Aside from the fact some of our windows are 12 feet up, they were a cinch to install.”

“Indow window inserts literally changed our life. We moved to the a perfect place that we are in love with, but only after the move we found out that with the highway being really close to us the early traffic noise was awful. For the first weeks we had really bad sleep and felt miserable. I found out about Indow and hoped that it would help us keep enjoying the house we love. To be honest I wasn't expecting them working so well. Sure I hoped it would reduce a lot the noise coming in, but I couldn't believe how peaceful and quiet my room is. I can barely hear a little bit of the morning chaos, and during the rest of the day the room is not only quiet but a lot cooler in the summer. Mind these are floor to ceiling oversized windows and the inserts fit perfect, blend well and are not an eyesore at all. I'm really glad we found this, I can say I am a happy customer!”

“I'm very disappointed with my purchase of 8 Indow Acoustic Inserts. I live close to a busy intersection and the noise from the on going traffic impacts my sleep. The Indow inserts did not reduction the traffic noise level, in fact it sounds the same with or without the inserts. The inserts are very expense. I would not recommend this product.”

“When I purchased a 1920s-build home in Philadelphia I was delighted by three original stained-glass exterior windows. I soon realized the single-pane glass and cracked leading allowed air and heat to flow through, yet still I didn’t want to hide them under heavy drapes. With Indow I was able to easily measure, order, and self-install clear insulative panels for about one third the cost of built-in storm windows, and I realized a four degree surface-temperature change in just minutes of installation! I’m seriously considering buying more for temperature and sound proofing of other openings. Great product!”
