“The acoustic insert made the sound produced by the HVAC near my window almost imperceptible. When I hear it, it's because of some very low frequencies the compressor produce at full capacity, but even then, that sound is less distracting because all the other frequencies are essentially blocked. So no more on and off fan or metallic sounds to attract my attention.”

“The Indow inserts have reduced street noise, since installed, there is no audible white noise, sirens are heard muffled or as if distant, vehicles that turn sirens right below the building are heard but the decibel level does not startle, same for truck reverse alarms nearby. The echos of street sounds are also reduced considerably, for example, three blocks away sounds like sirens and motorcycles are barely audible. Black trimming makes the inserts look as if part of the original window. The outer tape in window 2 was not entirely sealing on both sides, but within days and after adjusting to the prevailing temperature, molded themselves to the irregular wall. It took longer than expected to install as I was unaware these came with a safety chain and by chance I had a drill handy. I believe the safety chain aspect needs to be mentioned early on to customers, and shown on product videos, it was an entire surprise to me and had I not borrowed a drill the previous week for other purposes, I would not have been able to install "out of the box" as I thought could be done or as it seemed on the installation videos.”

“The window inserts do the trick, we live in NYC, over a major trafficked road and the noise from the outside has certainly reduced by at least 50%. You can still hear ambulances and sirens, but they look as they are distant, not right in your bedroom.”

“I would definitely recommend the Indow inserts for street noise. While the inserts don't eliminate noise altogether from my double-paned, the sound has been reduced dramatically, particularly higher-pitched sounds, particularly on rainy nights, etc.. My sleep has improved. Coupled with other noise-reduction measures, this has really helped a lot. The inserts are otherwise barely noticeable. Also, it being winter-time, I noticed an immediate change with drafts.”

“I was looking for something to help reduce sound from the street. The Indow acoustic insert has helped a lot! The ordering, delivery, and installation process were great. Lots a communication before, during, and after. Respect for the customer the way it should be. Happy!”

“Two of the three inserts were easy to install and prevented frost from forming on the outside glass. The third one was difficult to install because it is was cut too large by about 1/8". It took extra hard pushing and smushing the rubber cushions to the max. As a result, leaks allowed frost to build up on the exterior glass window. So, I tucked in rope window caulk around its perimeter. It helped a bit, but the Indow is bowed due to being oversized.”

“My application is a “skylight”. I have no frame support other than a hole insert. I asked and order specifications call for 2 “D” rings on ends so that I can manage the inset from either side. I have just 1 “D” ring poorly placed and not able to set the Indow insert straight in the skylight hole. I have the window shoved up in the hole, but not sure it is a correct fit. The Indow arrived without hardware - that was quickly corrected and pins shipped shortly after. I am waiting for someone to FaceTime me so that they can look at my skylight fit. I have it jammed in the hole for now. —- Initial customer service was fantastic. They even helped me with measurements over the phone. Just not sure my Indow is fitting as it should. — shipping and packaging was very good”

“I'm very happy with the inserts. I have had them for several months now and they are so clear you don't even notice them. Then blend in perfectly and have made a huge difference in some very drafty windows we have. Will definitely be buying some more! Thanks”

“I live In a condo in San Jose, CA where a significant amount of development is underway. Specifically there is a 4 story, 150,000 sf hospital being build next door. There is a continuous stream of sounds ranging from deep growing heavy machinery, grinding, hammering, backup alarms etc. A few weeks ago my Indow Windows arrived and completely changed the situation for the better. It did not make the project go away but the constant sounds were muted. For example the window inserts are able to decrease the hammers and backup alarms. They are still present but arena the background instead of a continuous alarm clock type feeling. The inserts all fit very well and came packaged very well. My entire experience with Indow has been positive. I never felt pressured but listened to while they made product suggestions. The measuring was detailed and the ordering process was a breeze.”

“We ordered and installed these in our daughter’s 1939 Storybook Tudor in Dallas almost 1 year ago. The home had rattling original windows, and external storm windows are not allowed in the historical neighborhood. Replacing many windows was not in the budget at thousands of dollars each. Thank goodness we duscovered your product! I am convinced had we not used your window inserts to stop the drafts from the original windows, she would have had major frozen/broken pipe damage or even frozen herself this week in Texas’s weather/power grid disaster. Thanks again!”

“our inserts are very good at reducing noise and heat/cold. BUT - the inserts are a very tight fit. My husband said that he nearly didn't get them installed because they are so tight. He was disappointed with this because of the care we took with the measuring process. He did get them installed but someone who is not as strong and fit as him would never have been able to install them and would have sent them back as too big.”
