Ordered a monitor from Insight because they were listed as a seller directly from the Samsung product page , visited their site and found they had one in stock , so I paid for it along with next day delivery After waiting 5 days over the holidays and still no delivery I rang then to find out when I could expect it, only to be told that it wouldn’t be arriving for another three weeks ! They still have the item listed as one in stock so they are obviously misleading people and quite simply wasting people’s time , not once did they offer to refund the next day delivery charge either. Cancelled the order and got it off amazon instead with zero issues , i wouldn’t recommend these jokers to anybody unless you like being messed around

Seems a pointless operation to me. The web site may say something is "available" and even tell you how many there are.....but that doesn't REALLY mean they are available at all. The product you order might not be available at all. They may tell you something has been "sent for delivery".... but that doesn't REALLY mean the product (that doesn't exist in the real world) has actually been sent for delivery at all. My experience indicates that they just add their margin on top of someone else's, charge excessive delivery fees and then don't bother delivering. Maybe that will change as we move to the next level of customer service. Happy to update if anything changes.

Beware if your item is faulty or breaks. I ordered a Dell monitor from Insight in March 2020, it broke within 4 weeks. I emailed Insight to report the problem and enquire about what my next steps were. No response. Thankfully, Dell customer support were absolutely brilliant when I reached out to them. Insight will happily take your money but after that, you may be on your own. I wish I had checked this review site before buying. Caveat Emptor!

Incredibly bad service. . Order a laptop on Friday morning for a Saturday delivery as needed to do urgent work for a client over the weekend. Called before I placed the order, was reassured it would arrive on Saturday. Of course not only they could not be bothered to go to the warehouse to ship it. But when I called on Monday they explained the order is put on hold as it my first order. Seriously? Of course they charged the AMEX immediately. Speechless. Stay away.

I also fell victim to the £20 "re-stocking" fee. The whole process wasn’t great with Insight, from follow a Google shopping ad for a 500GB SSD hard drive which in fact lead to the 250GB version which was selling for a few pounds less than I could buy the 500GB from Amazon. Unfortunately, in my haste to purchase the item I clicked on the cheapest Google shopping ad and didn’t double check the size on the website and purchased it. Having quickly realised I had purchased the smaller drive I quickly sent an email to cancel the order which bounced back as undeliverable. I then sent a support ticket though the website requesting to cancel the order and stop it going out. Support came back and said they would try and stop it if they could, I made contact about 20mins after purchasing. Checking their FAQ’s on the website it clearly states an order can be cancelled before the order moves to 'Order is shipping' status which happened 22hrs after I placed the order and therefore should had been cancelled as per my request within 20mins of ordering. https://www.uk.insight.com/en-gb/information/help Anyway, the order got dispatched and I’m now facing a £20 restocking fee even though I requested the order to be cancelled. My advice is be very careful when ordering from Insight everything looks to be more expensive than Amazon, and had I purchased from Amazon I would have been able to cancel the order within minutes or even return FOC without a restocking fee. The 500GB SSD drive I actually wanted is nearly £30 cheaper on Amazon, be carefully when purchasing through Insight Direct (UK)Limited especially if following a Google shopping Ad as it could be leading to the wrong product! Will never deal with this company again or recommend. Do I except paying £20 restocking for an order I quickly asked to be cancelled and you sent anyway! NO

Given the negative feedback I was a little concerned, but I was ordering a graphics card which was rarer than hens teeth, it was well worth the wait at the very reasonable price (£100 less than everyone else) as every crypto miners has been buying them up. Got my rx580 pulse 8gb on the right side of £250....thanks insight!

Ordered an Lg remote in August 2022 paid next day delivery. Its over a month later and I'm still waiting! I've had zero correspondence from this company regarding my order. Tried to use there online site to contact someone but unable to send a message as I don't have a business email. This is a joke! They have stolen my money and not sent the remote! When I check its says the item is now out of stock!!! I wish I had read all these awful reviews before I purchased from this company !!!! Do not buy from here

i will not recommend it to anybody. i ordered item which had many units in stock and then received an email that it has been shipped. many days later when i inquired, i was told its not in stock and they never shipped it. what kind of jokers are working here.

Terrible experience with Insight UK. I ordered two monitors and a docking station, however, I accidentally ordered these as two separate orders. I quickly raised a support ticket asking them if they could merge the two orders so I would not have to pay for shipping twice. Support came back to me saying that they cannot merge orders placed with a credit card, but that they could cancel the orders so that I could place them again as one. I told them to go ahead, they cancelled the orders, only to find out that it's impossible to order again because they've discontinued the monitors! No one knows what happened, whether they've really been discontinued, whether it's a glitch, or whether someone had quickly bought all of the available stock. They cannot un-cancel orders. It's all a mess! They -of course- instantly charged my card, the balance won't be released for a few days, I'm not getting my monitors, and the closest available alternative costs £80 more.

Insight repeatedly fail to honour a two year warranty for a failed product. 1) "The warranty is one year, not two. Prove to us that it's two" (it's on their website and the website of the manufacturer as two) 2) Repeated delays in contact 3) "You need to raise a ticket with the manufacturer, not us" (No, we don't. We did do it, but the manufacturer quite rightly said that we should go to the people we brought the product from, i.e. Insight). Still waiting for a resolution over a month after hardware failure.

I'm a Global IT manager, I find the multiple poor reviews very surprising. I've used the company for 15 years and they have always provided a cost effective professional service. Recommended!

Worst customer experience I've ever had online. I ordered an external hard drive from this company and after hearing nothing for a week (no dispatch note) I logged into my account to find my order no longer existed. At this point I contacted support. Apparently the company did not want to honour the price they listed the hard drive at and this is why my order was not dispatched. Instead of contacting me about this and cancelling the order they decided to just silently cancel the order and leave the customer to chase their refund when they wonder why their product hasn't been dispatched. I would recommend avoiding this company at all costs unless you want to waste a lot of time and effort fighting for your money back, and certainly don't use the company if you need a product quickly like I did because it may well not turn up at all. I feel the one star I am required to give as a minimum is being too generous.

Seems like many others have been disappointed with this company. Placed an order in good faith, after few days the order disappeared, had to chase them up and ended up waiting over a week to be told my order was cancelled. Shame I can't give less than one star.
